Sounds like it could be pretty entertaining. I'm unfamiliar with the source material you referenced, save by reputation, but I've read/watched plenty of other stuff in the genre.

Thank you kindly for your welcome, and for telling me about the tabletop forum - I'd somehow contrived to miss that. This newfangled imagination stuff is all well and good, but sometimes a fellow just needs to roll dice for something. ;)

So I'll just start with hello.

Hello! I've been doing the whole play by post roleplaying thing on and off for a few years now, mainly off of late. As such I'm trying to get back into it, as much as anything else because it's nice to do something vaguely creative from time to time. My first introduction to this hobby - broadly speaking - was via D&D, so I retain a degree of fondness for fantasy games, but I try to sample bits and pieces of all kinds of things. Anyway, nice to meet you all.
