Stats __________________________________________________________Strength:E Endurance:C Agility:C + (The plus comes in effect around big breasted women for the purposes of well-) Mana: B+ Luck: A+ | Abilities __________________________________________________________Riding (Beatrice) C+++ Without the anecdote of being a notable rider beyond his voyage on the boat of Charon, his rank in this skill is conventionally low despite the class of the mount. Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill and knowledge. However it is when it comes to the riding of the boat that represents his journey that, his riding, surely guided by his muse of Virgil, and most importantly, Beatrice, reaches a heavenly level. His ability of controlling his Noble Phantasm and that which leads to heaven is without a doubt worthy of the name Rider. After all, it’s not only just his adventure, but one that he travels with others. Magic Resistance: B+ Through faith and the guidance of Virgil, and the elevation of heaven it is not strange at all that Rider has a rather high rank in this skill. Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected. Damage is reduced, and against compatible magecraft or circumstances even high-thaumaturgy would be negated or contested. The path to heaven cannot be denied by mere fake replications and miracles. That which is born of sin, that which misleads and born of malice is without question opposed. The truth will not be obscured. Harmonic Path of Reason: B+ The guide out of sin. The man who has sinned, who did not reach heaven and yet fell not to hell. The man who was stained by the virtue of his company, and yet rose above it through knowledge and intelligence. Civilization is what prevents one from being a beast, and even if one cannot become a heavenly saint as a mere man illuminated by the light of art, it is the start of the path that leads one to the divine. The accompaniment of Virgil is not physical, but rather a matter of the guidance Rider’s own logic and thoughts have taken in mimicry of him, along with the burden of “one guided by Virgil” that leads him away from that which would lay him low or lead him astray. To be taught how to conquer the fear from beasts and primal evils, and to be taught how to walk the correct path away from the sins that plague all man. The purpose of knowledge is to live in accordance and in harmony with the laws of heaven. Through Virgil of pagans and earth (man) he is brought to a path that connects with Beatrice (heaven). His conduct as man leads him to the divine. While Virgil is not one who reaches heaven himself, it is through his civilization and his art that Rider is prepared as one who is a vessel for the divine. Such a methodology is agreed upon by both men of the church, and magi alike. Mental effects, pressure and negative effects are drastically reduced or negated in potency. Beautific Beauty: A Beatrice, redemption, guidance. Brought towards the god/heaven and divine. A skill representing the love and saving grace of Beatrice, and the connection that Rider has with the maiden. A path to heaven, and the guide that leads him out of purgatory and hell, to paradise. A place where sinners may not tread, where pagans are turned away. It is Virgil who saved Dante from degrading himself into a sinner, but it is Beatrice who brings her to what is good. Art, beauty, meaning. All such things are given by one who applies such concepts and value to another. The perfect lens will present a perfect unwarped world, and just so the purity and beauty of Beatrice gives birth to a saintly and pure Rider. Through her grace and her observation, her love, he reaches the realm of the divine. Also applies via master-servant. Heroic Spirit rank stuff. Observation of legends engraves it into the human order and gives it meaning. It is through those who read tales and see art that give it such value. Even heroic spirits in turn are elevated by observers. No matter how grand a human, or the mind. It is only in contact with others that one can create a world. It is through trust in others and god that reasoning can be made and humanity advanced. Trust that others can impart their experience and wisdom, trust that all things have a purpose and trust in the good of god. Without love the path cannot be seen. il Sommo Poeta: EX The Poet supreme, the greatest writer and artist of the Italian Language. The man who journeyed through hell and arrived to heaven, who defined and laid the foundations for many impetuses for European art. A man who stands as a one and only, and a man who can describe and invoke all and anything. The greatest goods, the cravenest evils. The only thing beyond his reapproach that keeps him from being the one and only is his inability to write of god (perfection)/ [「」Such is the limitation of one「」 who is still human. To understand, and to more importantly, invoke and make others see and understand. The true value of his talent is not to bring forth the physical example, but the essence and meaning of things. Such is art. Yet to comprehend and describe perfection would in turn degrade it, with it no longer being (god). This inability is less a fault, and more the rule of a man. Yet it is also his status as a man that lets him impart his views and art to others flawlessly. As a poet and man who looks to the hearts and mysteries of things he can only be then called, perfectly imperfect. To surpass this would require... Name: (My Personal Condemnation) Title: The Truth Wrapped Around Judgement Rank: A NP Type: Anti-Truth Range: 1-100 Maximum Number of Targets: - Description: The condemnation of his enemies and those he critiqued as those who languish in the circles of hell. However it is not a matter of simply grudges, but rather scorn of their faults and a revelation of their sins. More than a shallow and childish attack that lashes out with impudent temper at those he disliked. There are "those whose merit shines a bright guiding light, even in hell. Even the most intellectual and genius, the pious and even revered. Even his beloved Brunetto, and the great philosophers Aristotle and Socrates are among those who have been kept in these depths. Those whose sins are great against the order of Heaven, those who hold only the sin of not knowing Christ, and those who he saw as having faults that he accentuated with his words and truths. Under Rider’s judgement, one is condemned to hell, and the truth of one’s sin is revealed. However the nature of the noble phantasm is not merely of assigning sin and degrading one, but that of taking form to the truth, a truth that Rider spins. A truth that while may distort slightly, or focus only on a part of a whole, is nonetheless accentuated and manifested. The ability of the Noble Phantasm is to utilize the “truth” as a conceptual weapon. One could say that this is related to the magecraft of turning words into conceptual blades and other objects. Blades that represent a shining truth, stakes that condemn a truth of punishment and sin, a shield that may shy away from evil with the truth of purity. In a sense it is the understanding and language of Rider brought to arms. Title: The River Upflowing. Rank: C+ NP Type: Anti-World Range: 1 is minimum, 99 is maximum. Format is usually something like 2-50, that's Via Expugnatio and Bellerophon's range. That means Via Expugnatio cannot attack you if your range is 1 from it. Maximum Number of Targets: 1-10 (3) Description: What does it do? The boat that travels Styx, and the final signs and preparation from the lady Matilda combined, along with the burden of heaven and hell. A vehicle that allows one to venture into the realm after life, beginning a transformative odyssey while still alive. The vehicle that descends into that which holds evil and yet knowledge. It is through the tour and exhibition of the world (human evil) that is one is taught and climbs to the peak of Mount Purgatorio Sin must be “known” and “forgotten”. Lethe and Eunoe are partaken of and with the experience and knowledge that has been refined and proved pure. The earthly struggles are forgotten and one reaches heaven. Seven rings surround the boat, rotating and propelling the vehicle forth through water or the air. Yet it is not the rings that transfix the boat, but the boat that transfixes the rings. When the true name of the Boat is invoked a “mud” flows in its wake. From the seven rings are born the texture of the underworld and hell, painting over the surrounding area and applying it to the world around. A space degrading, that showcases sin, dragging away the providence all living beings have. While in the innermost three at the peak of Pugatorio and at the gates of heaven evil is forgotten and expulsed, leaving those who ride with the protection of Dante safeguarded from its effects. The three that are a stand in for both the world and the trinity as a trine that approaches the divine are Earth (Virgil) Spirit (Dante) and the Father (Beatrice). The connection to earth and sin is made with the Pagan Virgil, and so heaven and hell are connected. The seven circles of purgatorio, the three of heaven The nine layers of hell and Lucifer who resides at its core. Meeting together they form 10, a completed world. Just as the odyssey of Dante took him through all of hell, purgatorio and to the heavens, now the world is driven into a journey by him. Free of shackles or sin unlike Dis or Pluto, the one who holds the reins and commands the boat is Rider. However the true potential of the boat cannot be reached alone. For after all, heaven and the world are not born alone. The system of man, and the system of nature together form the life upon the planet, and the workings of god cannot be reached by one’s lonesome. Even if he were to hold the status of being accompanied and guided by his guides, it requires a true presence to form a true trine with to reach the full journey to god. In a pinch the frozen rings can bludgeon people too. But really? |
