Ryuuto Koriyama
Ryuuto took a deep breath of fresh air as he made his way to the institute. He was wearing his Sunday best, complete with tie and fully buttoned-up shirt, and walked with an air of confidence and dignity about him. There was something gratifying about having full knowledge about what was going to happen while other faces looked on in awe and wonder. By now, this was a rather familiar sight to him. The new students were all squawking at each other about whose power level was higher, or rambling on about friendship, or other generic newbie stuff. Ryuuto, however, decided to remain quiet, and calmly observe from a distance. It was amazing what people would reveal about themselves when they didn't think someone was listening...
"Ah, Ryuuto, welcome back. How was your holiday?"
"Oh, hello Miss Leden," Ryuuto said, looking up at her with a small smile.
"It was... Mmm, you know." It was quiet. His parents had decided that he was old enough not to need a sitter anymore, so that meant his time away from school was mostly time alone. He had probably spent about a week of his break with his parents. Combined. And most of that time was spent being quiet while they were on the phone. But, at least he had a 72" TV with subscriptions to every streaming service known to man, unlimited internet, and a gaming PC with maxed-out specs. So, who was he to complain?
He was about to divert the conversation to something string-related, but their reunion was cut short by somebody getting punched in the face. Somebody he knew very well...
Ryuuto let out a sigh, rubbing the bridge of his nose in exasperation, as he approached his friend.
"You just had
to be the first person to pick a fight this year, didn't you?" Ryuuto smirked. Even though John got rocked pretty good, Ryuuto knew he was more than tough enough to take it.
"I suppose I should thank you for the data though. I'm filing that redhead under 'powder keg.'"@Hammerman@Azereiah
