-Time skip a few hours? -
Nylah arrived home quietly, hearing the TV from the living room on. She poked her head in curiously as her mother sat down on a chair at the center of the room, having her hair worked on. She wrinkled her nose and blinked surprised for a moment."
I'm home." Nylah stated."Go get ready, we'll do your hair afterwards." Candice ordered as her hair was being ruffled and grabbed around."
What am I gonna wear?" She asked."A dress, its on your bed." answered her mother."
Do I have to wear one? Can't I wear a dress for an event thats actually major--Like I don't know, The movie premiere?" Nylah nearly begged as she leaned against the wall. Candice looked over at her daughter and raised her eyebrows."But you have to promise me the outfit will be appropriate. It does sound better if you dress much more formal for the premiere. Fine, go change--Hurry." and with a satisfied grin across her face, Nylah ran up the stairs. It only took her about 10 minutes to make up an outfit and as soon as she was done, her mother was hollering for her down the stairs. By the time she ran down the stairs, Nylah immediately fell her way in front of her mother's feet and proceeded to laugh."
Ouch!--hahaha." she laughed. Candice on the other hand wasn't to impressed."Hurry up Nylah-- We have to leave asap." She insisted as Nylah crawled up to her feet and walked away."
Okay, okay.." She uttered.
"Now we don't have time to do your hair.." her mother sighed. Nylah stayed quiet, as Candice's assistant applied pins in her daughter's curly hair. "The best we can do is just pin your hair in place, ok?" said the assistant, to which Nylah nodded without any problems. She didn't really care about appearance to much, and quietly sat in her mother's sear for a moment as she held in her random giggles."Make sure you bring a warm coat or something." her mom ordered."
Okay mom....." She muttered slightly irritated but disguising it in the form of small laughter. As soon as the woman who did their hair was finished, Nylah jumped off her seat saying 'thank you' and followed behind her mother who considered them to be in a hurry. In Nylah's opinion, she believed it wasn't worth standing and talking to other rich celebrities. But seeing as her mother
had to be there all because of her fame, it was basically a requirement. Which means 2 hours of waiting for a fancy meal which was in fact probably going to be small she grudgingly predicted.
