Finally finished my second character! I hope you like her :) I'll get the relationships done for her soon, after I talk to people about them.

Marcus smiled at Reya’s response to his drink offer, flagging down the bartender and ordering another beer, before taking a sip of his own. He nodded, letting out a slightly uneasy snicker. “Thanks… I’m always nervous before a show, but it helps having people cheering for me, I guess.” He smiled at the blue-haired girl, shaking his head slightly. “I don’t think you’re that awkward. You managed to get up on stage for karaoke that night, remember?”

His attention was diverted back to Ethan as the taller rockstar started to speak, offering a jam, and suggesting that the two other women should join him for a song. Marcus shrugged with a slight smile. “Sure, that’d be fun. I’m sure we could work something out.” When Ethan referred to Reya as his date, Marcus couldn’t help but blush slightly, but before he could say anything, Rei protested quite adamantly, and again when Marinalia made her comment. This made Marcus’ red face get deeper, resigning back into his shyer self abit. Was the thought of being on a date with him that awful? “Oh… Uh.. Yeah… What she said.”

Marcus grabbed his beer and took a long sip from it, before exhaling deeply, trying to find a way to excuse himself from the now awkward situation before he made it worse by panicking or bursting into tears. It wasn’t a big issue really, but when his nerves are already heightened, the slightest upset can become catastrophic in the timid musician’s mind. “I… Uh… I should go get ready for my set.” He gave the group a little awkward wave, before turning to Reya. “Umm, take a seat anywhere, I guess, and I’ll, umm, come find you after my set.” He mumbled with a forced smile before walking off towards the stage to get his guitar ready.

Location: In his room, then in the kitchen.
Interacting With: Sunshine and whoever else is there.

Finn watched as Sunshine left his room, sighing heavily once the door was shut. He just agreed to go to a party… The thought still made his mind race with all the thoughts of what could go wrong, but there was one thought which helped to level them all out. He’d get to spend the night with Sunshine, and that made almost anything okay. She promised to be his “personal protector guider person” which is what gave him the courage to go to his first party. What could go wrong with Sunshine by his side?

The nervous boy tugged lightly at his hair as he walked over to his suitcase, lifting it onto his bed and opening up, staring at its contents for a few moments. It was all pretty samey stuff. Several pairs of jeans and long-sleeved shirts and hoodies, with only two pairs of swimming shorts. Who goes on vacation to Miami with a suitcase packed like that? A boy covered in scars that he’s ashamed of, that’s who. He walked over to his door, locking it, before moving back to his suitcase. He pulled out one of his pairs of shorts and a grey button-up shirt, setting them on his bed before getting undressed. He sighed heavily again, looking down at the left side of his body, which was marred by the memory of his darkest day. The scars ran like a jagged street map up and down his left side, from his thigh up to his shoulder, and down his left arm to his elbow. It’s a miracle the doctors managed to save his limbs, let alone his life. He stared at the scars for several moments, tracing them with a finger. It was a reminder to never let himself get that bad again.

After a few moments of reflection, he got dressed, pulling on the shorts and tieing the draw-string into a knot, and buttoning the shirt. He would probably look a little silly, wearing a button-up shirt to a beach party, but he rathered that over someone seeing his scars. Once he was dressed, he went over to his computer and put on his headset. “Hey guys, I gotta go… I’ll be back on tomorrow.” He said into his mic, before leaving the voice chat and turning off his monitor. He took a few deep breaths as he pulled off his headset, walking over and standing by the door. “Here goes…” He mumbled to himself before unlocking and opening the door, tentatively leaving his room, shutting the door again, and heading down the stairs. He made a beeline for the kitchen, giving a shy smile to anyone who saw him on his way there, trying hard to keep his nerves in check. When he made it to their meeting place, he looked around the room for Sunshine, moving over to her as quickly as he could without actually running. “Hey… Uh… H-how do I look…?” He mumbled with an anxious smile.

Marcus was blushing brightly as the group slowly started to form around him. What a first impression. He groaned softly as he accepted the two outstretched hands above him, standing with their help. He dusted off his clothes and chuckled nervously, looking around at the group that surrounded him. Decent turn out. "Uh, hey everyone... Talk about first impressions, huh?" He said with more uneasy laughter. "Definitely no harems here... Only music." His face was still bright red, but he seemed to brush most of the embarrassment off.

Marcus saw that the rollerblader who had collided with him, apparently named Elle, had started looking around for her bags of snacks. She'd found one, so he scanned around the area for the other, seeing that it had conveniently landed by the door of the rehearsal studio, with only half of it's contents strewn over the ground. He started to collect the snacks, putting them back into the bag. "Thanks Elle... It's okay though, I've got a bunch of snacks and some beers in the room I booked."

The long haired boy smiled slightly at the familiar, yet relatively unknown faces, before opening the door to the studio. "We're in the first room to the right. Go on in, help yourself to the snacks and beer, and claim your instruments. I have plenty of stuff set up in there." He stood there holding the door open as the rest of them started to funnel in, looking around the street one more time, keeping an eye out for anyone else who may be running a little late.

Finn swayed slightly in his chair, nodding his head to the loud music blaring from downstairs. Although it’s not his personal taste, it’s still music, and it’s still something to focus on, other than the deafening noise in his head. He allowed himself to get lost in the repetitive, pounding beat, drumming his fingers on his thigh along with it, matching deep breathing with the rhythm. This kind of bass heavy music was good for that. He attempted to follow along with the quickly delivered, aggressive lyrics. Again not to his taste, but he can see the appeal. As he started to mumble along to the chorus of the song absently, having picked up the lyrics quickly, he felt the sudden pressure of hands on his shoulders, and a face beside his.

The anxious boy practically jumped out of his skin, jumping forward out of his chair with a frightened yelp, before turning around and being greeted by a familiar, soothing voice, and a friendly, welcome face. Sable, his ray of Sunshine, as he often referred to her as in his thoughts, and songs. He panted softly as he caught his breath from the scare, his bright red face adopting an embarrassed smile. “Y-y-you… You s-scared the heck out of me…” He stuttered softly, his hand reaching down to anxiously fiddle with his headphone cable. He was definitely happy to see her, he just didn’t know exactly how to show that.

Finn’s heart sank when she mentioned the party. He knew there was going to be a bonfire party that night, but he intended to stay right there, in his room, playing WoW, and maybe actually leave his room to eat something while everyone else was gone. But, it was Sunshine. He couldn’t say no to her, even if he wanted to. And she used her nickname for him. The only nickname he had that didn’t stem from teasing, but from seemingly, genuine affection. No one else ever made an effort like she did. She was one of the only people to ever make him feel heard, or wanted. He wish he knew how to express that to her, but his words always came out like gibberish.

He groaned in protest softly, but the word mission intrigued him. “A mission?” He mumbled curiously, looking up at her with a nervous but intrigued face. He hated the idea of leaving his room, but if it was with Sunshine, it would maybe be okay. Probably.

Got my first post done! I hope it's okay. If there are any issues with it, let me know and I'll fix it.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck, get those tentacles down quick!!”

Finn sat alone, in the room that he organised to have to himself, sitting at a desk in front of his computer, frantically clicking keys and flicking his mouse back and forth. To the casual observer, he would be yelling at noone, but there actually four other people on the other side of his screen that he was talking to and communicating with. “Fuck these things hurt… Hurry, get in turret! YES! Good work dude…” The one place where his anxieties went away, where he could be himself. Azeroth. He wasn’t some anxiety ridden kid with ADHD in Azeroth. He was Goggles, the level 120 Gnome Death Knight. Goggles wasn’t scared of anything. He had killed the Lich King, defeated Deathwing, lead the charge on Orgrimmar and protected Azeroth from the Burning Legion. He wouldn’t be terrified of leaving his room and facing a bunch of teenagers that he went to school with. But Finnley was.

Finn leaned back in his chair with a heavy sigh, taking off his headphones and staring at the ceiling of his temporary room. If it wasn’t for his father demanding that he needed a holiday, and to learn how to socialise before College, he definitely wouldn’t be there. But he was, and he was determined to spend as much of it as he could in that room. Hell, most of the people in the house probably didn’t even know who we was, or that he was there. The only person he’d talked to so far was Richie, but he’s cool. Finn even let him borrow one of the comic books that he brought with him, though he made him promise not to spill anything on it, and keep it in its protective sleeve when he wasn’t reading it.

The young recluse sighed heavily again as he heard a female voice scream something about shots. Probably Missy… That girl scared him. Well, most people did, and the idea of shots definitely did. Finn had never gotten drunk before, and although he was curious, he wasn’t going to brave the sea of people on his own for it. He’d have to be coaxed out of his room if he were to join the party, and the likelihood of that was very slim. As Kendrick Lamar’s Be Humble started blaring through the house, Finn shrugged and sat back up in his chair. “I guess that’s what I’m listening to now…” He mumbled to himself. Rap and Hip-Hop weren’t his favourite genres, but it’s all still music, and he could see the appeal. With his headphones sitting around his neck, Finn bobbed his head to the beat, and continued to play, messaging his group to say that his headphones were off for the time.
@HaleyTheRandom Definitely looking forward to him being a stuttering mess of a human whenever she is around, let alone if she ever acknowledges him.
