@13orgNo, staying in character and avoiding metagaming are 100% things I expect roleplayers to do, it's great you do them. But here's the thing, going by the post that you yourself made, Meilin saw the heatwave and decided to intervene. It's a thing that happened. The heatwave didn't hit anyone, that's great for student health, but the person who launched said heatwave is up, angry and fighting against someone who's assaulting him outside of the rules of the game. These are all reasons why any responsible educator would step up, especially if she was already set on intervening after the first heat wave was launched. She can break up a fight there and show herself responsible and dependable. It's a very simple thought process.
You have been given plenty of room and plenty of reasons for your character to do the things you wanted her to do in the post we all saw. You said you were upset about not getting to do the things, and we have gone out of our way to present opportunities for your character to get involved when we could've just left you to delete your post and move on. By this point, you're actively sabotaging yourself and throwing away the efforts of others just to prove the obvious point that you, indeed, can decide to not do the things you complained about wanting to do. It's your choice, totally, but you don't get to complain about not being given the opportunity to play. Because you were.
