AI's just doing to art what the printing press > e-books > webnovel forums did to literature. Widen availability, entry bar plummets, 10^e16% slop production increase. "Real" artists better git gud.

If someone used AI to recreate Princess Mononoke beat-for-beat, that'd be one thing. But if it's illegal to look stylistically similar, will it be illegal to use the same colors next? Madness.

Intellectual property defense can and should only go so far. Look at stuff like WB's Nemesis System, and the dispute over Palworld. Art students imitate the classics all the time. AI's just a tool.

If anything believing that AI creators deserve ass beatings only legitimizes them as another type of artist. XD Or at least puts them on the same level as "modern art" money laundering.

It's the opposite side of the English professor spectrum, where they insist their definition is truth even if the author themselves comes out and says "No the curtains were literally just blue."

Sure, if you'd like! He's just salty in general over anybody stronger than him, except people who're "allowed" to be stronger lol. He's like a Yakuza--he admires the higher ups in the "family," but in constant competition with those on his same level.
I check out a lot of isekai-themed games to see how other people do theirs, since my own has a very similar theme. I've seen the first season of the anime and heard a lot about it but I don't really think I'm familiar enough with the various skills, classes, lore, etc. Wish you luck tho!
I still need to get in the habit of mentioning people prior to finishing my post. I know mentions don't actually work right if you edit them in after the post is up, so I just wanted to boop you this way to let you know that it did at least cross my mind right as I hit "post". :(
No, I've never seen that anime myself. Gorou's face-claim is just fan art of some guy from RWBY (which I've also never watched). Do you mean the character himself is familiar, though, with the reasons for wearing a mask or something?
Were you the bloke who originally recommended that Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen anime to me like four or five months ago? That Gorou masked man character is awfully familiar lol.
