whelp...no idea how to introduce Milo into that XD
Both Aslatiel and Rakuyo had still been below deck when the alert was called, getting above deck just as the Ketokar pulled alongside their ship. They quickly joined with the defenders, Aslatiel fending off the boarders and Rakuyo returning fire with his spells, careful to avoid setting the parts of the enemy ship on fire that held members of the Amaranthia's crew that had boarded them.

At some point he found himself close to Aenwyn, close enough to hear her comment to herself, though as she burned one of the planks he used the water left behind by her elemental's attack to lash out at a boarder nearby, freezing it as it went to create a row of spikes that impaled the dark elf while he was still crossing his plank, giving a quick nod to Aenwyn before his focus returned to the other ship.

A little ways down another dark elf boarder was attempting to swing across on a rope, only to be caught midair by Aslatiel's scythe which cleaved him right off the rope, Aslatiel then brought his weapon down a pulled the blade off to use as a sword and folded the haft to place on his back as he defended against any further of the privateer's attempts to board.
@13org I think I might have Milo show up in that pub after you post
;-; why does everything happen when I'm NOT here?
Sorry about disappearing for awhile. Between Rise of Iron coming out and some other RPs starting I've been a little distracted...
With the help of the tiny captain the Steel-clad axe-wielding man was finally slain, cursing the Iron Roses with his last breath. In the momentary reprieve Alaric reacquired his Hammer, though with no danger of being attacked by the giantess again and the party of Iron Roses capable of finishing the vampire he took a moment for himself. He planted the pommel of his hammer on the ground and rested one hand atop the head.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, seemingly trying to calm himself, when he suddenly began quietly speaking "hmm? yes I know I got out of hand, it isn't usually a problem, you know I'm not used to fighting alongside others...well it doesn't help that the undead are involved...of course I'm going to be more careful!"
@Hippo AF I remember asking Templar about this before. There are no cannons or gunpowder...
"My name is Rakuyo"

"I am Aslatiel"

Rakuyo bowed his head slightly and Aslatiel made a small gesture of greeting with his hand as the introduced themselves, looking to Karl as he did the same. Neither so much as flinched when he mentioned that he was a Hero of the Dawn, both knew what it meant, both didn't much care, that title was meaningless to them. They waited as Aenwyn finished speaking to Karl before turning back to them. Though, before she could say anything, she visibly tensed up, prompting Rakuyo to say "Are you alright?" they both stood ready to help her if she collapsed but she recovered a moment later saying someone had entered her mind, or attempted to. She was distracted again by some newcomers and Aslatiel looked at Rakuyo, who just shrugged.

It wasn't to much longer before both their leader and their ship appeared and they found out where they were going, Dustorne. With the others boarding the ship and finding their own place to be or person to talk to, Aslatiel and Rakuyo went toward the front of the ship and sat down on the deck, idly chatting as they waited for the ship to set off.

@13org How's this work for you :3
