Kythe sat up on the roof of one of the buildings, one foot resting on the edge while the other dangled off. He wasn't up there out of any desire to remain hidden, just the practicality of avoiding the creatures in the streets and a higher vantage point, that none of the others that came through looked up to see him was just a bonus, except for the one figure he could see had the same idea as him but that one was still a few rooftops down and he could barely make anything out of it at this distance.
Kythe himself had come to the remains of Lemhard to investigate rumors that a way of defeating the Tyrant could be found here. He had little faith in those rumors, thought even crossed his mind that it could be a trap for other prospective heros, but as he was faced with the options of a potential trap or the destruction of all he holds dear well...it didn't seem to be that much of a decision then, besides it was just about the only lead he had at all at this point. Now based of the appearances of the other people that found their way in, the divine magic using pugilist; a knight; a demon sorceress he recognized from when he watched the hero when he was on his quest; and a man that smelled of olive oil and spices, he made a bit of a guess that they were here for pretty much the same if not similar reasons.
As it was some of them seemed to be taking a wait-and-see approach to the others, but with some kind of interaction between all of them seemingly inevitable, and likely to have been intended, there wasn't much reason to draw it out at this point. He leapt down from the roof onto a pair of shambling corpses that had beet a bit to close together, immediately crushing one's skull under a clawed foot and pinning the other down. He quickly drew his blade of his back and dragged it along the ground to finish off the pinned zombie and lash out at one more nearby before resting it over his shoulder and standing up tall, glancing down at the demon and then over at the knight and brawler "I'm going to venture a guess that we are all here for roughly the same reason!" He raised his voice to call out to them and turned his gaze to the village center "should we get on with it then?!" without really waiting for a response he wound up for a strike again, his blade shining with light magic, and slashed at the air sending a wave of light to strike another zombie a few feet in front of him.
Sure calling everyone out was a gamble, but he was confident that the Demon Sorceress standing far to his left at this point had no allegiance to the tyrant, so that was one person he at least didn't have to worry about too much and possibly a potential ally, even if only temporarily.
Nybras almost nuzzled into her hand when she touched his face but he caught himself, though he didn't do anything to move her hand away either. He did well to remember that he was siting next to a succubus but she did seem to have at least some genuine interest in learning from him. He returned a smile "well, I suppose it will be nice to have a pupil" he gave a weak and slightly awkward chuckle at the mention of punishing her and then he remembered what they were supposed to be doing "um, for now we should get back to this" he looked to the paper "so we need both our eyes on this at once?"
So I was bored, found a thing, inspired me to do a thing that was based on a thing from someone's cs here
I don't really intend to play multiple characters, I just thought it'd be nice to share. Sharing is nice.
Name: Tabris Age: 324 Gender: Female Race: Angel Alignment: Chaotic Good Class: Angel of Retribution Equipment/powers: While not as powerful as an angel of war or death might be, Tabris is still a force to be reckoned with, wielding both blade an magic with seemingly limitless stamina and power and with unmatched strength and speed. Armed with a powerful twin-forked spear and often using her wings in combat her relentless strikes often come from a large and unexpected variety of angles, making her an extremely hellacious opponent.
Tabris wears a simple yet highly resilient set of armor and though it does not cover her wings they are remarkably resistant to physical punishment. Her spear amplifies her power and she often throws a duplicate of it made entirely from divine light, though she prefers much closer combat.
History: Though she was among the those looking on from the heavens Tabris' attention was never on the Hero that had been blessed to challenge the Demon Lord. No, she was focused elsewhere, to the town and villages ravaged by the Lord's legions. She appeared to a guardsman as he fled from the remains of his village, She gave him a gift, a slightly weaker replica of her own spear and a small fraction of her power, and commanded him to turn around and destroy the monsters that had been assaulting his home.
She continued to look on as the man became a hero in his own right, not nearly as grand as the Hero of Legend but he protected many small towns and travelers from demon attacks, at least until his defeat at the hands of one of the demons she'd set him against. It was an end Tabris had to have known was coming but she still found it nonetheless infuriating. And so, angered by the death of her champion and the perversion of her gift, she descended for a second time to personally bring her retribution to the demon that slew her Hero.
Equipment: Kythe only carries a single two-handed blade and wear's a light set of clothes more meant for travel than combat. He makes up for the lack of armor with speed, agility, and his, albeit limited, training in light magic.
History: Hailing from a land to the distant land to the far east, Kythe was originally sent to observe and report on the fight between The Hero and the Demon lord, as it had managed to grab the attention of places even that far. He had remained on the sidelines and out of sight as the Hero took down the Demon Lord, But with the that champion now turned tyrant with power threatening even his distant home he's thought it high time to take a more active role this time around.
Name: Tysetaz Pethras Age: 39 Gender: Male Race: Human Personality: Alignment: Lawful Evil Class: High Sorcerer
Equipment/powers: Tysetaz's staff, while it does not strengthen his magic too much, it does give him a very large reserve of energy to cast his magic with as well as the ability to cast several spells at once making him a tough opponent for even a group. He has a considerable arsenal of magic as his disposal from elemental to holy and even some dark magics, but he was never quite as accepting of demonic augments and relics as Sven was and this has left him somewhat weaker than the Hero.
Name: Valerica Brae Gender: Female Race: Human(formerly) Class: Arcane Construct Equipment/powers: -Armor with high resistance to magic -Arm blades strong enough to pierce through most armor -Short range teleport mainly used for closing distance(to compensate for lack of ranged capability) History: One of the few occasions that Tysetaz used demonic power, he created this construct using Valerica's body and what remained of her soul. It was something done mainly out of a desire to keep even just a part of her in this world with him. It now acts as his personal bodyguard and assassin.
History: Originally part of a small order of mages, Tysetaz became one of Sven's early companions along with Garen Trask and Valerica Brae. Over the course of their travels he helped tutor Sven in magic, developing a close friendship with him. He also gained an attraction toward Valerica, kind gestures and warm smiles were all that displayed his affection during their journey as he intended to make good on it after the defeated Remus. However, As time went on he began to see the world differently along with Sven, he actually became aware of his intention to take the Demon Lord's throne and probably could have stopped him, but as they shared a sentiment when Sven took the throne and the Hero became King he remained by his side.
As for their other companions, While Sven dealt with Garen he handled Valerica, giving her the same offer to join them and even pleading with her, but she had refused. She was not as able to escape as Garen was. He still regrets killing her, she'd draw her blade and it became necessary but he still cried out in sorrow when it was done.
Now a general of King Heavensward's forces, Tysetaz acted quickly to destroy the mage order of his origin as they would've proved to be a threat. He took the skulls of the high mage's and used them to augment and empower his staff. When not leading a force or dealing with some threat he is usually heading research and experiments into more unknown realms of magic. One product of his research is the Construct he always has at his side.
