As the creature screamed and span, Geralt and Sakura battled the creature with all their might. Finally Sakura felt like she was getting a handle on how she was supposed to fight this thing. It was all offense and no defense. The only thing that was required was proper timing. Which was FAR easier said than done. Sakura rolled, hopped, and dove to the side of several swings, but the creature caught up to her as she hesitated, wondering where it would swing from next. The creature screamed towards her, swinging violently. Sakura crossed her arms in front of her. Instantly they were bloodied as with a bright blue burst, she was sent sliding and tumbling backwards from blocking the blow. “Guh-a!” Still, it was much better than if she had been caught mid dodge or especially mid jump.

As Sakura rose to her feet, the creature leaped to another location. At that time, Geralt’s horrible two-headed monster healed her by whipping itself. “Um... thank you? I think?” Sakura said, grimacing. Nonetheless, the cut across her arms restored themselves, and the stinging in her back and inner thigh also lessened. Other than that, she felt fine. But that was the thing with Ki, it was either defending her, or it wasn’t. It was easy for Sakura to feel totally fine until a single light jab hit her like a truck and sent her down. So easy that Sakura had forgotten about it now.

As Sakura prepared to get back into the fight, the creature leapt up the cliff side to reach Ace and the others. “Watch out!”

And then she realized that she and the others were the ones in immediate danger. “Oh- WATCH OUT!”

The loss of Quen's shield in the exchange with the Orphan was unfortunate but ultimately an inevitability in a battle as heated and protracted as this. The worst part, however, was that Geralt knew he'd be stretching himself too thin to re-cast the Sign at this moment, having both summoned the Judicator moments before and blasted the Guardian with Igni during their fight. Being able to do both so quickly was heartening, and he was hardly at the end of his stamina, but he'd need to gather himself a little before putting the necessary energy into Quen. He couldn't half-ass the amount of energy in it like Igni or fluctuate the power flow like with Axii, Quen was an all-or-nothing, front-loaded spell.

As the Orphan jumped off and threw its explosion-creating projectiles rearwards at the Seekers, Geralt cursed and ran for it, calling out to the Judicator to attempt to move as well. Thanks to his size, he was able to avoid the brunt of the explosion with long strides, even having the time to scoop Sakura up in one of his massive arms as he ran, covering her from the shockwave with his armored back. The Judicator was less lucky, and while its size and resilience allowed it to survive the explosion, Geralt felt the bodily ache that the transferred damage gave him. In its last moments, the Judicator made up for its failure to avoid damage by flagellating once more, providing a burst of much-welcome healing for Geralt's aches before its time ran out and it vanished.

As Sakura prepared to run, suddenly she was scooped up by giant Geralt. “Oh!” She exclaimed, hanging on tight. She passed by Nadia and Bella and gave them a drive-by peace sign. Even with the loss of Delsin, Sakura believed whole-heartedly that Kamek could fix this whole mess. All they had to do was keep fighting.

“Are you okay, Mister Geralt?” She asked as she was set down. “You didn’t have to do that. I’m fine, really.”

Geralt gave a shrug as he turned around. “Easier for me to take 5 steps than for you to take ten.” He replied, not seeming bothered at having carried a near-full grown woman while at a run.

Once he realized what the Orphan was doing, Geralt cursed as it climbed the rocks and made a beeline for Ace. Rushing in with his sword drawn, Geralt neared the rocks just as the Orphan leapt in the air, tossing another barrage of placental grenades towards the ground.

Eyes widening as the blobs of pink flesh flew towards him, he spun his sword and held it to the side, free hand coming up to draw the Sign of Quen in the air. Between the moment of pause he had and the Judicator's healing, he had to have enough in him to pull it off. Anything less would result in quite the unpleasant scenario.

Holding the Sign in its Active form as the sand and flesh exploded around him and battered his shield, Geralt grit his teeth and pushed a little more power into the magic of the Sign. While it rendered him completely and utterly unable to act against their enemy, it also prevented what Geralt could only assume would be quite a bit of damage.

The last of the explosions shattered the shield, and Geralt dropped the flow of power to the shield, sand and putrid flesh falling onto him from the remnants of the bombs. The Witcher, perhaps for the first time that the others had seen, was well and truly winded, hands falling to his knees as he drew in large breaths.

As Sakura looked up on the cliff side where the others were doing battle, it took Sakura a moment to realize what the creature was thinking of doing. To be honest, seeing the Orphan hesitate and strategize was very unexpected. “Guess it’s not such a baby after all.” Sakura said flatly as the thing exploded the entire cliff just to send the boulders their way.

And then, the rocks barely twenty feet ahead of him exploded, launching shrapnel and chunks of stone through the air at an...oddly sedate pace. Not slow enough that they wouldn't do any harm, especially not at the size of rock that was blasted free, but Geralt had time to rise to his full height and bat aside a smaller (in comparison to him, at only about a foot in diameter) rock with his blade, though it took a noticeable effort to do so. As a more voluminous barrage descended upon Geralt, he forced himself to the side, only being clipped by a single rock, which spun him a bit but left no more than an aching bruise through his size and armor.

Once again Geralt moved to intercept, but Sakura wasn’t helpless! Geralt looked winded from all his spell slinging, anyway. Sakura figured it was her time to step up. Defiantly, she slid between his lengthened legs and gathered up blue energy between her hands. ”HADOken!” She shouted. The fireball was slow moving and wide, as tall as Sakura was and angled slightly upward. It burst every time a rock hit it, knocking the other shrapnel aside. As the fireball exploded for a final time, it cleared the air of the first wave of flying debris. Only more (slightly slow moving?) rocks came her way, and Sakura once again brought up her trusty defenses. She swatted and blocked them, the rocks bouncing or breaking against her with dull thuds.

Seeing the giant fireball moving upwards and batting aside some of the rocks that had come close to hitting him as he dodged, Geralt hummed appreciatively. The help was much appreciated, and as the larger rocks from the explosion arrived, the pair managed to knock the worst aside with blade, fist, and claw, Sakura managing to break a few more while Geralt allowed the smaller rocks to impact against his armor to little effect, his focus fully on the ones that would deal serious damage.

As the wave of stone ended, Geralt turned towards the Orphan to see it landing on the ground after its attacks, and he used the opportunity to grab a Grapeshot bomb from his pouch and toss it at the Guardian before drawing his blade and nodding at Sakura. “Let’s keep it busy, then?” Rika’s whale summon wouldn’t manage to do much if it got destroyed before it was even able to reach Galeem’s chosen, so they’d have to do something about that. Junior’s minions had numbers, but quality and quantity wouldn’t hurt at all.

Sakura nodded, looking quite pleased with herself through all the adrenaline. Sadly her burst of power flickered out. Even with her powerful glow coming to an end, she pumped both her fists. “Let’s go!” She sprinted forward, wanting to engage the Orphan as soon as possible. She went to the left of the Orphan. Jumping over one of it’s swipes, she blasted a one handed fireball into the back of its head in mid-air, before landing and moving in for more close ranged offense.

Geralt took the right as Sakura went left, blade flashing and swiping to distract the thing and keep its attention more than harm it, though the two could quite easily go hand in hand if Sakura gave an opportunity with her more rapid fighting style.

Sakura knew she couldn't react in dismay everytime one of her allies took a heavy hit. Still, when poor Peach was rocked to the sand below, she winced. It was hard to not run to her side. But there was nothing she could do for her, and running to Peach after fighting the Orphan close quarters would just attract more attention to the wounded princess.

Despite her desire to stay focused on the greater good, Sakura's jaw dropped as she watched the Orphan send the one and only king Bowser packing for the hills. All the way back to the beach! "B-bakana..." Without meaning too, her guns fell silent and her arms drooped to her sides. She couldn't believe it. King Bowser seemed totally invincible! But just like that, poof. Not in the fight anymore. Stress tightened her chest as she realised that their safety net was down, and the next person to get knocked down would be in tremendous danger.

And as Bowser was wisked away and Sakura cast her brown eyes down at their foe, she witnessed it's new, divine form. What...was the deal...with this weird baby?

Her hair stood on end as the creature howled. "W-watch out!" She cried as lightning struck the monster corpse and dangerous energy began to curve along the beach. Peach's safety popped into her mind, but as she turned and looked, Rika and Junior had already helped her.

As the lightning made it's way towards Sakura, she easily front-flipped over it with nine feet to spare between her and the ground. She saw Nadia dodge it too, but the beast went after her and caused her to get zapped. While she ran to go help her, Delsin once again interfered. His powers were impressive. In any other reality, the Orphan would have been blasted high into the air and into the ocean. But here, the Orphan shrugged it off and hit him over, and over again, until he was nothing but ash.

"IIE!" She yelped her dismay in Japanese. As she charged in, Kamek the wonderful wizard announced, steadfast, that this could be fixed. This soothed her heart and bolstered her resolve, and her wild charge became a determined advance. "Try your best..." She murmered, glaring at the Orphan as she ran.

She charged alongside Geralt, and as he avoided one attack, she came in hot with a jump kick to the thing's shoulder. She kick-flipped off of it and landed.

"COME ON!" She shouted, pumping her fists as her body blazed to life with energy. V-Trigger II Activated. Now her fists had light blue trails like comets in the sky, and smooth, clean lines of ki energy accompanied her attacks. Sakura Senpu had activated, giving Sakura access to new moves and higher damage on her melee attacks.

As the Orphan swung at her, Sakura smoothly rolled to the side, and then returned the favor with a mighty "Shenpukuyaku!" She briefly became a light blue, spinning top of a human being, her foot cutting into the creature like a razorblade. And then she landed and dashed under it's arm, practically hugging the creature. She slammed her fist on it's back and rolled again, her bright fist crushing up into it's underarm. When lightning struck, she hopped into the air with a kick on the ascent and the descent of her jump.

All this to say, a powered up Sakura was taking a very aggressive approach, no longer committing to any combos or long recovery moves. Instead she ducked, weaved, and struck the creature where she could. She also worked along side Geralt and covered him where she could, and stayed out of the way of his attacks.

In the low light of the moonlight beach, Sakura emitted a soft but resilient light, like a spiritual pool of water.

It felt good to finally put some damage on the Orphan with her friends. What did not feel good was her escape attempt failing. As she rolled away she popped to her feet, and before she could jump, the Orphan slashed deeply into her back. There was a spark of yellow, but this time a spray of blood accompanied her defensive life energy. "Aah!" Sakura gasped and flew forward onto her face. She turned and rolled before she could grind her facial features against the sand. While her clothes had been healed along with her skin, once again the back of her off-shoulder top was split horizontally. And her poor skirt was ripped as well, making it look more like some kind of weird battle skirt. Fortunately, battle damaged clothes tended to look kinda cool.

Sakura lay on the floor for one moment, pondering the pain in her back and the blood that had been drawn. A single second, really, of staring up at the grey clouds above. "Ottotto." She nodded to herself and then kip-upped flawlessly to her feet, running back into the fray. During that time, the monster had leapt high into the air and came down on their ranged fighters. "That's so scary." Sakura mumbled, shaking her head in acceptance.

Delsin got hit pretty hard, which earned a grimace from Sakura. It was hard to protect others at the cost of your own health, so he really did have the heart of a hero. But she knew that if he got taken out real hard, he would be safely carted away. So she wasn't too worried about anyone yet.

Sakura followed behind Link, joining him in his attacks. She kicked the creature in the leg once before dodging away. Junior's goo allowed Sakura to skate quickly around, which felt great. For the first time in the fight, she pumped her forearms and prepared to unload on the creature with her cannons. A horde of Bowsers came charging in, which illicited a surprised and impressed laugh from Sakura.

As Link stood on standby, Sakura moved to the side of the Orphan, behind it. So that way when she fired at the creature, she wouldn't have a chance of hitting power. "Don don don!" She shouted, mimicking the sound of her guns in her native language. The heavy machine gun like cannons mounted on her harness hammered and burrowed into the creature's heavy, blood-soaked pelt.
Nuri kicked after the goblins. "Begone! You little worms." There was a laugh in her voice.

She walked over to Neffy and leaned over, setting a hand on the little woman's shoulder. "You did spectacularly! What a stab!" She mimed the motion with her free hand. "And the rest of you, too. We make a great team. I sense good times, real good times, ahead."

Nuri reached into her satchel and pulled out a rag, and she began to wipe her blade down. "No, we're not here for the goblins. We're just here to take what we can find." She flipped up her visor to peer at her allies with her eyes. "But. The little bastards are evil incarnate. See a goblin, kill a goblin, it's as easy as that. We'd be doing the world a favor." Though. Once again. Pet goblin? Friend goblin..? Maybe. No. Probably not. If she got enough money she'd try it one day. But she wasn't planning on letting someone get their face eaten off for one of her whimsies.

Let's follow them. They probably have the artifacts tossed in a big pile somewhere." With that Nuri turned and began to jog after the goblins, hoping to track their little foot prints and listen for their chattering.

For all her efforts with the fireball, Kasugano Sakura earned the flighty ire of the terrible infant. Like the others, her sympathy had to be put aside for fighting instinct and simple fear of the powerful creature. She wasn't going to underestimate it again. She took her fighting stance, breathing heavily.

As the crushing overhead came down, Sakura hopped nimbly to the side. The creature caught nothing but air, the dust and wind only ruffling her clothes. She predicted a follow up swing, and it came. She hopped cleanly over it, pulling her legs underneath her. There were few things as satisfying in this world as causing an opponent to completely whiff. All the power of their strike, and the only place it goes is into their own arm as they try to regain their momentum.

Sakura landed nimbly on her feet and stepped forward into a roundhouse kick across the creature's jaw. "Sei!" and quickly back dashed away as the rest of her comrades engaged the creature in battle.

There were things happening, but Sakura caught them mostly in her peripheral. All of her attention was on the mad beast. Bowser was the one who distracted it from her, firing a mighty series of blasts into the beast that barely seemed to bother it. But Sakura knew better. "Keep it up! We're hurting it!" Sakura said confidently. The Orphan was excellent at ignoring injuries and fighting through them. Sakura knew many people who were the exact same way. But once you pushed through every bit of endurance they had left, a little tap would be all it would take to cause them to come tumbling down.

The Orphan charged at the Koopa King, but link stopped it dead in it's tracks with his quick-witted magic. A mighty counter strike! Sakura sprinted in to take advantage. Ideally some of her allies would help beat the hell out of it, too, but she would do it alone if no one else was in position. Her plan of attack was as follows.

She drove her elbow into the Orphan's spine. Smoothly she interlocked her fingers together hammered her two fists up into the Orphan's back. Then she flashed yellow as she snapped into an EX "Shunpukyaku! Take this!" One two three! She span like a blender and aimed to drive the Orphan back into the spear suspended in the air. She landed and then slammed her foot into the creature's back one more time. A straight kick that she transitioned into a back roll, diving away from the Orphan and taking her fighting stance.

THE WASP!
End of Post Location: The Sky Manhattan, Times Square. Interacting with: She-Hulk! @Kyoka and Hawk-Guy! @Hound55 And Spider-Man and anyone who can see her? Sorry if I miss something I really need to catch up lol so I'm just gonna write something, anything at all

"Thanks a zillion million billion, She-Hulk." The Wasp said, accepting the Avengers communicator with a bow. Quickly she linked it up to her headset and attached it to her belt. She thought she recognized the voice over the radio, but it sounded a little old to be Spider-Man. Still, the plan was sound as a bell, and was exactly what Janet Van Dyne had in mind.

"This is The Wasp, speaking on She-Hulk's communicator!" She said. "I'm buzzin' on up to the portal over Times Square. I'll get the data on that portal with my Quantum Gizmo™!" She reported in. "Just cover each other! But especially me."

The Wasp gasped and pretended to bite her finger as little Reptar was snatched from her hands by the impeccable aim of Hawk-Eye. "Gee, thanks! Don't use him for target practice while I'm gone. That's the most endangered animal on the planet!" She gave him a thumbs up. "You've also got about twenty four hours until the Mega Molecules wear off and Reptar gets big again so, watch out!"

With a half-cocked salute, she bent her knees and jumped, wings fluttering. At high speeds she zipped zigged and zagged, making her an incredibly difficult target to hit. Only sheer volume of fire could knock her out of the air, and fortunately her allies were keeping the Dominators plenty distracted. "Closing the portal is priority Numero Uno." Janet murmered to herself. Boy, her heart was racing! Despite all the veritable carnage happening around her, Janet Van Dyne was nothing if not a thrill seeker. In her opinion, heroing was a lot more fun if you embraced the risks.

A Dominator space ship came her way, an ugly little thing with a big window and ugly little monsters on the inside. Clunky armor and big heads with big red targets on their forehead. "Wanna piece of me, do ya? Okay! But don't complain to me if your portion sizes are too small!" With that, she shrunk down to the size of a wasp and zipped toward them. She zipped down the barrel of one of their mounted cannons, disabling it with a micro burst from her fingers. The gunner looked confused for a moment. From one of the panels on the side shot out the glowing yellow heroine who delivered a swift tiny kick to the gunners head, knocking him unconscious. Not that the Wasp was planning on going easy on these suckers or taking them alive. Genocidal maniacs weren't going to weasel out of a good killin' just because they were sentient.

One of the other dominator gunners reached for his gun, but it was zapped out of his hands and skittered across the floor. He looked up at her for a second. "Nope, you're dead!" The Wasp declared, firing a yellow laser right into the monsters eye and frying their brain. Then she flew right into the cockpit and the confused pilot had a moment to react before he too was stung by the Wasps Stinger and he slumped over on his controls, unconscious. Growing temporarily to her normal stature, The Wasp placed a shrinker on him and turned him to the size of a raisin. She plucked him up and stuffed him into one of her wrist pockets. "Never know when a goon might come in handy." She said.

With that, she placed another shrinking device on the center console and flew out of the exposed panel she came in. "Yeesh, these alien invasions always burn a hole in the tax payers pocket." The Wasp said. She shrunk the enemy space ship down to the size of a desk. It spiralled out of control and slammed into a building, where it shattered off the wall and fell into an alley in flaming pieces. "I'm sure they don't mind though, heheh."

Back to full size to get her max speed up, she zoomed up towards the portal. The readings of her Gizmo were off the charts! Well, that's not true, they were very much on the charts. Anyone who said anything was off the charts clearly just hadn't made enough charts.

Regardless, she unholstered the silvery device and angled it at the portal. It was daunting to be so close to a gap in reality. She could see stars and the black void of space. Energy shimmered infront of her eyes. There was even a significant amount of wind pressure as the air of the Earth itself was ripped through and into the void of space. Fortunately her wings were strong enough to push against it. Janet wasn't exactly eager to end up on the wrong side of a portal again.

She tapped a button and her device lit up, a grid-formation of light beginning to work its way across the portal. "Beep bop boop, science science science, go go go!" She said. Hopefully no other dominators showed up to ruin her day.

Sakura grimaced as Rika almost got bisected. Fortunately, her allies, including Bella, intercepted it. "Be careful, Rika-chan!" She called out, shooting another fireball at the Orphan. She just wasn't sure how to push in. They were all too disorganized! They needed a concentrated strike, but big baby had them all on the back foot. It's power was immense.

But she couldn't think about that now. She realised that Bella was about to get blown sky high by this creature's glowing blood attack. "Bella-san!" Sakura shouted, announcing her intention. She sprinted across the battlefield as high speed, kicking up sand and dust behind her. As the creature brought its viscera attack down, Sakura slid right between its legs. She popped up right infront of Bella and bumped her back into Bella's front, sending the Abyssal backwards. Sakura stomped the ground and a red miamsa burst off her. Sakura used Red Focus, a powerful defensive move that turned her into an attack absorbing machine. "SEI!" The viscera attack would burst against her, parting in a narrow formation around her as Sakura defended both herself and Bella from the attack. It used up a huge amount of defensive Ki to do, and if Sakura got hit before she got it all back, it would be a hard hit.

After blocking the massive hit, Sakura jumped forward instead of backwards to make her retreat. With a quick hop as the monster recovered from its attack, she turned and planted her feet on its chest and pushed herself away with a push kick. She rolled along the sand and retreated, guiding Bella away from the Orphan.

"That was kinda cool, huh?" Sakura said breathlessly. "Get that gauntlet fixed, okay, Bella-san? And don't get squished." With that, she turned and rushed back into battle. She grimaced as the frozen Hat Kid got smacked away, but fortunately the kid was a whiz at magic and managed to defend herself with powerful ice. "Watch out!"

Sakura didn't push in on the Orphan. Instead she stayed a little outside it's swinging radius, guard up, plugging fireballs into it when she got the chance. No big offensive pushes, but just offering another target for it to swing at. Ready to dodge, hop, or roll out of the way of any of its attacks. And keep watching it to see how it fights. That viscera attack was already familiar to the Seekers, maybe the melee attacks could be, too. Even wild fighters had patterns. Even random chance could be exploited, for not every option had equal risk and reward.

"We have to find a moment to strike!" Sakura said. If she had to block some glancing impacts as she dodged away, she'd be okay, but it would stop her "Grey Health" from restoring and reset the timer on that. Because of this Sakura was especially wary of defending herself. But she couldn't just sit back and let the thing run rampant. Hopefully her fireballs and presence would put pressure on it and divide its attention.
