Current And maybe most people don't like getting a single line back in response to a few paragraphs? Like whatever floats your boat, but there's a reason Free exists.

If the man's is asking for a ban, might as well give it to him. Good riddance.

There wasn’t much out on display, but what little was still held Alexander’s interest and the price tags gave him enough to wince at. He scratched at the back of his head, wondering how long it would take to afford a piece like these, and looked up when a man entered from further inside the workshop. He was honestly a bit concerned from how beat up the man seemed to be, but the near-screech snatched his attention with a jolt.

A wince quickly followed the man’s reaction, and Alexander could only scratch at the back of his head and hope there wasn’t too much trouble. He did follow the man into the workshop’s actual workspace like asked though, raising a hand to shield himself from the bright flames within several forges. Several blinks allowed his eyes to readjust and naturally he tried to locate the source of the commotion that had him back here in the first place.

A bit taken aback, realization nonetheless quickly settled in as he watched Rena dip her finger into the water. From her reaction it was in fact just water, and he scratched the back of his head as he took another sip. He couldn’t really fault her for checking because even if it made no real sense to him, the strange being could have poisoned him for the sake of doing so; he certainly didn’t know the creature’s motivations or thoughts. His attention was drawn to the being as it flourished its baton once more, curious as to what would happen next.

His eyes widened at the gentle, yet invigorating, notes that filled the air until the joined and mixed together to form a song. It was probably a bit cliche to say that the music resonated with his soul, but Valair found that pretty much summed up what he felt. The music was more than just pleasant to hear and what pain lingered was slowly brushed aside as the song progressed. The urge to simply close his eyes was strong, but with a small frown he brought the glass back to his lips and sipped, distracting himself from the music with the small action.

Only when the song came to an end did he move the glass and set it on the ground next to him. Hands free, he gave a short clap of applause for the performance. “So you are,” he murmured, reading the card, before he slowly stood up. The individual had done nothing to warrant such suspicion, but Valair didn’t exactly like the fact that such feelings had been pressed onto him, even if they were pleasant. Perhaps the music this creature orchestrated was simply that calming to the senses and mind, but even that was something to be wary of.

Yet when the Musician pointed towards the road, Valair looked to the others and shrugged. It wasn’t like they had any better options at the moment.
Welp, hopefully it doesn't take that long.
It's no biggie, hope things get better/ease up.
Anyone?
Better than leaving this dead.
Straight guy, funny gal.
Unsurprisingly, given the lack of other vehicles on the streets, he got more than a few strange looks from the people on the sidewalks or even on public transit. Not that it particularly bothered him given the almost empty roads meant he could floor it, and the rumbling from the engine filled whatever street he was on at the moment; music to his ears. He nearly had a nasty spill the first time he hugged a corner only to find out that the district style had changed from smooth road to unpaved paths. He screeched to a halt, heart hammering at the near accident, and simply stood there for a moment to catch his breath and calm down.

At the same time, a floating display popped up nearby and caught his attention. Though stunned, it was only for a moment as he had already came to accept that this city housed technology easily decades if not centuries ahead of what he knew. It only took a few moments before he was sufficiently creeped out by the two and the artificialness of it all. He frowned as introductions for the five new arrivals were made, and shivered a bit as the people around him all clapped in time with one another. ‘The hell is with this place…’ The cheerfulness of the two broadcasted only unsettled him further and he crushed the urge to get on the move again. Everyone else seemed glued to the broadcast and he didn’t want to draw more attention from the weirdos that lived the city than he had to.

When it finally came to an end, he didn’t hesitate to throttle the engine and shoot over the unpaved ground, kicking up a small cloud of dust as he did so. His eyes scanned the cityscape for the closest way out of its boundary, and the tire screeched as he jerked the bike into a sharp turn.
Oh right, forgot about that whole 2nd-4th with Eklispe.
With that done Alexander turned back towards the east rather than return straight to the Coliseum. This time his destination was the workshop of the Goddess Hephaestus. While he didn't imagine it would be possible for him to afford any of her creations for a while, it couldn't hurt to take a look at exactly how much they cost; all he knew was they were apparently ludicrous. Besides maybe he hammer out a deal with the Goddess or one of her Guild Members to get a weapon that would be able to handle the sharp increases to Strength he had already begun to experience.

The workshop gave a unique smell to the air from down the street as he approached, and it wasn't long after that he could hear the strike of hammers even through the walls and doors. He pushed open the doors to the storefront portion of the workshop and was greeted with a rush of heated air. The shop was completely empty without anyone even at the counter and Alexander blinked for a moment before he stepped inside, letting the doors close by themselves behind him.
