Current I love my job, but I hate how it makes me feel at the end of the day.
I didn't make it to my appointment and the reason why is... rather bothersome to me
8 yrs ago
I'm finding that I am able to relax more now that I have you to talk to... but I'm also trying to be careful not to rely on you too much... I don't want to push you away
8 yrs ago
Who would have thought I'd be so stressed out I wouldn't be able to sleep? If my mind doesn't give out soon... my body sure as hell will.

I know its bad if you don't grieve properly... but being alone has stopped me from being able to react the way a normal human probably should. Don't compartmentalize people, you'll eventually explode.

Bio

Well... I was told this is a thing I should do... so here is the thing...

HI PEOPLE I'M ETERNALLY BORED:

Hi. I'm Zverda... formally Kokushi on this site! People call me Koku a lot... dunno why it just sorta started up one day and stuck.

- I'm 24 and I like playing in my age range. I prefer to stick with people who are 20+, mostly because I feel more comfortable doing any form of romance with people within that age group. If you are still a teen, I am sorry but I'm just not comfortable RPing with you just yet, nothing personal I assure you. However, if you are not looking for romance, I'm cool with RPing with you as long as you are not any younger than 18.

- I love posts that are decent in length. I won't go Nazi on you about your post length... though I will admit that if you can't give me at least 2 GOOD paragraphs, I will get bored... and fast. I give as good as I get, so please, if you do not want Crap do not give me Crap.

- I consider myself Mid to High Casual. I am not a grammar freak by any means, I just ask that you do not text talk... please have a basic understanding of the English Language, be it American English or British Language.

- I RP in PMs mostly, though I also favor Google Docs if you are looking at it to be more of a story setting rather than just a jumble of things.

- I prefer playing a female character though I do not lack the ability to play a male character, I am just relatively new to it.

What you can more or less expect from me:

On average I write anywhere from 2 to... however many Paragraphs that I feel like. If it is something I am enjoying and you are just as interested in what we are doing, I can easily knock out a few paragraphs, at least on a good day XP. Now I understand that everyone has off days, so if you are having any issues, please let me know and I will do my best to work with you ^.^

Also, I have a tendency of responding just about every day, sometimes I can only manage one a day if I am super busy (which isn't often to be honest), other times I go nuts. For the Next three weeks starting Monday Dec 21st I may be a little slow until Jan 11 as I will be visiting Family in New York, but I WILL respond, I promise you that!

What things do I like you ask?

- Action
- Progressive Character Development
- Fantasy
- Sci-fi
- Egyptian Mythology
- Greek/Roman Mythology

Stories that take place in either:

- Modern Day
- Medieval Times

Things I do not enjoy... in the least

- being the only one who pushes stuff forward, if you have a question about moving forward, all you need to do is ask. If you have an idea, please, use the OOC to bring it up to me.
- Damsels in distress so please do not expect me to play one.
- Ridiculously submissive characters... some submission is ok but try to have a backbone... and this is also something I will refuse to play, so don't ask.
- Insane amount of swearing. Now, I have the mouth of a Soldier so I understand swearing as much as the next person, but even I have a limit to what I will tolerate.
- I HATE SLICE OF LIFE!

My feeling on Romance in RPs:
I do not mind Romance in the least, however I will not make it the main premise of the story. It is perfectly fine as an addition, as in some cases it is completely normal for people traveling together to end up forming some form of bond with one another. I don't expect it to be instantaneous... I rather have it be something that forms gradually over time as it makes it more believable. If Romance isn't something you want to do, just let me know that you have no intentions towards that, trust me, it won't bother me in the least.

What to do with ideas:
I typically have ideas, just let me know what type of things you are looking for and we can always work on something together. If I already have a basic plot outline I will run it by you and if you like it, we can flush it out together and if you don't, then we can come up with something completely new. If you have things you want to do, or just basic ideas off of things I like to do, lemme know ok? Frankly, I hate making people think that I only wanna do what I wanna do, because that isn't true I assure you. The more ideas, the more fun things can be for either party.

Thea let out a startled noise when the Night Furies axe came down on her person, wincing though there was no pain. "ابن العاهرة!" she shouted, her sword at the ready as she glared at the creature before her. However, before she got the chance to exact her own revenge an all too familiar bolt introduced itself to the creature before it seemed to evaporate into nothing. "My hero!" she teased the male, but in truth, she was relieved as she knew she did not have much strength left to her as that lost blow had taken far more than she had been willing to part with.

Shifting her attention the the creature behind her and before Cesar, she uttered a few curse words under her breath before readying her Great Sword. "I am going to kill you," she growled at the creature before her. Lacking the ability to exact her vengeance against the creature who had attacked her, she chose to make it's comrade her outlet. Bringing her weapon down, she slashed the Shadow Soldier across the chest, her blade moving through it with relative ease thanks to it's make up. While she wasn't sure if it was enough to destroy it, she still felt that wonderful spark of pleasure that she had done nearly the same amount of damage to this enemy that his comrade had done to her.

During the time she had gotten to spend with Theodore that night, Thea was rather pleased and uppity the moment she woke up, having curled up next to the male during the night. Before they had left she asked him to assist her with her armor, cutting the usual 15 minute chore down to about half that. Her good mood even had her agreeing that the Hall may be the best place to go see the Green Man, what she wasn't pleased with was the fact that she ended up with two baddies in her face first thing in the morning. "Every time," she muttered, clearly cross, "Every time they have me in the front and every time I end up with goobies in my personal space, someone else can take point next time."

Eyeing the rather large Axe wielding creature before her she frowned, her eyes focusing on the smaller creature that had opted to start moving to flank her, someone had better get next to her because if she was stuck between two there were going to be some problems. Squaring off her shoulders, she focused once more on the creature in front of her and let out a huff of air, murmuring under her breath a few choice words. "علامة هنتر," she breathed out once she finally got her annoyance under control, marking the creature before her much like she had the enemies of the day before. Once that was settled, she hoisted her Great Sword from its place on her shoulder, the cloth covering sliding to the ground as she readied her stance.

"I am sick and tired of you guys coming out of no where when all we want to do is figure out what in the Seven Hell's is going on!" she snapped as she brought her sword down on the enemy before her, the blade biting into the creature's body as it attempted to get out of the way. Despite the lack of blood, the Paladin was pleased with this hit and yanked her blade free, getting ready for the next attempt from one of the baddies. "Too bad I couldn't just Thunderous Smite you, knocking you back would have been rather beneficial."

@The Harbinger of Ferocity - Night Furies up
Cynthia led the group through the center of the opening, weaving around some of the pillars and pathways that spanned the cavernous clearing. She then turned sharply towards a section of the market that seemed less populated, but those who gathered seemed to be financially better off than the average merfolk. As Cynthia pointed out her destination, a chubby gnome burst from the storefront, grumbling loudly. “Ridiculous, I say! Anyone who would spend that much on a magic stick must be out of their minds!” Upon noticing the party and their destination, he pointed a stubby finger towards them. “Don't even bother! The merchants here sell cheap trinkets for thousands more than their worth!”

Nemiea raised a brow at the the words of the Gnome, “Now I’m simply curious to see what it is that man is talking about,” she murmured before looking at Cynthia, ”Do you know the person who owns that shop or shall we just go in and I’ll test a magical item or two?” Though she could easily breath under water thanks to the spell cast upon her, she was still wearing her Cloak, mostly because she wasn’t about to be a slow swimmer. For now though, she doubted it really mattered so she pulled the fabric down and looked around with interest. Thankfully, her cloak held down most of her hair, the color currently a violet tone.

“Personally? Not like I know Abba,” Cynthia replied as the gnome swam off, grumbling the whole way. “I don't have much use for what is sold here. But I've been told by trustworthy sources that they are the best.” The merfolk studied the retreating gnome for a moment. “Either I have been lied to about the quality here, or he is simply an unhappy customer,” she mused.

“I assure you the latter,” came a reply from the door. The group turned to see a feminine figure floating inside the tunnel, her arms crossed. Her skin was blue, and her white hair faded into clear strands that made her seem as if she drew energy directly from the water. “I am Pari, and I welcome you to my magical sundries shop. Please forgive the previous customer. He is upset because I refused to sell an extremely rare item for a thousand gold.” Pari gave a short bow and motioned for the group to enter.

As they swam forward, Jill cast Message towards Nemiea. ”If you keep her busy, I will Identify some items to check their value. I feel like she is legitimate, however.” The bard punctuated her silent message with a smile, then turned to Pari. “Sadly, our Captain had me spend most of my funds on a map, but I would love to see the items you have for a few hundred gold, rather than a few thousand.”

The feline looked over at Jill for a moment, while she was capable of testing the arcane abilities of objects she could always double check on things that may not show themselves to Jill. With a slight nod to the female, she spoke to Pari as if her nod was simply to agree with what the Bard had just said. ”I am looking for a new staff,” she told the blue female, her head tilted to the side as she tried to figure out what she was. A part of her thought Undine, she had met one once and she had looked surprisingly similar to the woman in front of her. Only… her hair was blue as well, not the white that faded into the water. ”Got anything that might be useful to a Lightning Dragon Sorceress?”

While Nemiea had taken the spectator role at the cartographer’s, now it was time for Dyn to do so. While magical trinkets and baubles were of special interest to him, as was clearly portrayed by him having slipped multiple magical rings to his tentacles, he didn’t quite have the spending cash right now. The inks needed for scribing his spells were unfortunately rather costly to manufacture, but he couldn’t trust anyone else to do it. Who knows, they might sell him vanishing or, even worse, replicating ink! All he could think of was to ask for a pearl, but he knew it was beyond his haggling capabilities for now. He’d have to see if he could sneak it in as a side purchase and gain a discount that way.

However, with the captain’s mantle currently on his shoulders, Dyn’yer’zhead couldn’t just stand idly by doing absolutely nothing. “An unhappy haggler or someone sent in by another business to give negative publicity”, he commented on the gnome that had recently left the premises, “but I hope my lookout can find what she is looking for here. I might take a look myself on the side, perhaps I’ll see something that catches my eye…” The promise of additional business often made shopkeepers more willing to bargain.

The shopkeeper seemed somewhat saddened by the prospect of customers only looking for the less expensive wares, but nonetheless, she showed them around the place. There were several staves of high quality and magic, one of which Jill immediately began to cast her Identify spell on. However, Pari led Nemiea past the more expensive items, ushering her into the more cramped bargain bin area. “I fear that much of what you are looking for is above the price range you have offered, and of course I cannot sell items for less than others would buy them for. However, there are a few wands and staves I have for sale here...”

She led Nemiea to a wand that had what appeared to be a rubber ball on the end. “You appear to be familiar with metamagic from what I can tell,” she added, motioning towards the tabaxi’s draconic scales. “This wand allows access to a special kind of metamagic. Should a spell that you cast not affect your intended target, you may immediately target someone else, bouncing the spell off the first target. This can save you some embarrassment or, in a worse case scenario, a friend’s life.”

Nemiea blinked, then looked back at the staffs they had walked by. She only had about 1400 gold, but she didn't think that meant an immediate toss into the bargain section. ”I am looking for a staff, not a wand,” she murmured as she looked up at the shop keep, ”And while i may not be rich I am not entirely broke… well, I guess the only wands I would really budge on are ones with lightning based properties.” while the Wand of Bouncing Spells wasn't bad, she did at least want to see what else was around.

“Ah, well then,” Pari replied with a smile, placing the wand carefully back where it was originally stored. “This wand only costs about five hundred gold. I can take you to the truly interesting staves, but those often run thousands of gold in cost. Do you have anything worth trading?” Pari began to lead the group back towards where Jill stood, just as Jill finished casting her identify spell.

“I think this might be what you’re looking for, Nemmy,” Jill said as the shopkeeper approached. “A Staff of Thunder and Lightning. It would definitely be useful, but I don’t think we could afford it if we put all our money together at once. I don’t suppose you offer test runs, do you?”

Pari chuckled before shaking her head no. “My apologies, but a piece like this is liable to be sold any day. Normal price on this staff is ten thousand gold. What do you have to offer?”

Nemiea was silent for a moment, a frown on her face as she thought about the things she had to offer the Undine(?) before her. “I am sorry to say I do not have much to offer past my skills as a Dragon Sorceress and a Dancer,” the Tabaxi admitted, “Though both could be used to your advantage if you choose to utilize either skill. Usually I can pull in a fair bit of gold at a tavern and I’m pretty good at Monster extermination and item retrieval. Perhaps I can trade you my services up until the amount due is paid off while I am here. We already have a couple things we must do, if my Captain and shipmates are ok with it, I am sure they would not mind me doing a few odds and ends.”

Pari smiled warmly. “I am not accustomed to taking on indentured servants,” she replied politely. “Once you have enough items of value to trade, let me know. We can renegotiate from there.” The undine gently removed the staff from Jill’s grasp and placed it back in its place. “Any items you could retrieve would either be worth far more than the staff, or not enough for me to let you take it without any collateral, and I have no enemies I wish taken out. It is a lot of gold to let walk out from under my sight, of course. I hope you understand.”

The tabaxi was silent for a moment as she thought, she could understand where Pari was coming from, the only thing she had to offer the shopkeeper was herself, but since she was not in the need for any of those such services she would have to resort to what she was usually good at. ”I understand completely,” the feline replied, ”I will either have to hope I find something worth trading in for the staff, or hope that I can make enough before it disappears.” A soft hum left her before she tapped the underside of her jaw in a thoughtful silence. While the wand was not what she was looking for, it was something that would be beneficial to her arsenal, bouncing spells was really nothing to turn your nose up at.

As Nemeia looked over the items, Jill quietly hummed a tune behind her, just loud enough for the tabaxi to hear, weaving her inspirational magic into the song. She gave her friend a wink. “Go get em, Tiger,” she whispered.

>Jill grants a bardic inspiration (d10)

“Since it is very clear that the person who left here in a huff clearly just didn’t understand the value of the items here, I think I’ll spite them,” the woman said with a smile on her face, ”I rather like the wand that you initially showed me, and I will admit to it being rather useful… I shall offer 300 gold pieces for it.”

Pari took a moment to think over her options. “And you plan to return once you have the funds to buy the staff?” she asked as she pondered. A glance was tossed towards the aasimar who simply smiled in response before Pari’s attention was drawn back to the matter at hand. “300 gold is acceptable. I hope you can find enough for the staff as well when you return. I have a feeling you would make a good home for it.”

Nemiea smiled, [color-c0c0c0] “The moment my funds allow, I will be here for that staff I assure you,”[/color] she told Pari before offering her hand to shake as a sign to seal the deal on the agreed upon price, “It was a pleasure to shop with you Ms. Pari and I am eager to do business with you once more.”

“And I as well,” the undine responded. “Is there anything else I can help you with?” She looked questioningly towards Jill, who shook her head in the negative, and Dyn, who took up half of her shop.

Dyn was roused from his nearly catatonic state of idly browsing in the store by the shopkeeper asking if he would need anything specifically. Since he had not seen any spell components or advertisements of such being available here, he would have to disappoint her. “No, anything I saw around here was not something I could currently be investing our money in. It either would leave us without rations and maybe even require the sale of a few cannons or I could not think of use for it. I am glad to see she found something she liked however.” The faux captain did not have more to add while they remained in the store and removed himself from the business premises.

Once the crew was outside, he would then turn to their guide for the final thing on his list. “Cynthia, where would one go about finding an alchemist?” he asked, not going further to explain what he was going for. There was also something he would like to ask of Jill, but since he couldn’t think of any ways to discreetly do it, he let it be. It could be solved later.

Cynthia had waited outside the shop this time, as the interior was somewhat too cramped for more than a handful of customers. When the group exited, she immediately swam up to them and offered a smile. “I hope you found what you were looking for,” she replied before nodding towards a store just a few doors down. “That place should sell most basic alchemical supplies. I haven’t been there much myself, but I’ve heard good things about it.”

Dyn would not bother much with the alchemist’s, simply taking the recommendation. He headed inside, calmed the shopkeep down and soon exited 50 pieces of gold poorer and a flask of Alchemist’s Fire in one of his tentacles. “I do believe we are done here”, he concluded. “We should regroup and consider our next move back at SS Ladyslipper.”

Nemiea, pleased with the purchase of her wand and not needing much else, agreed.

Thea's eyes fell on the Tabaxi and her scowl as she muttered, causing her own eyes to harden slightly as a slight frown crossed her features. "Something tells me those birds aren't something we could tame, even with a group," the woman said, "They are large and unpredictable, as well as far too different than the birds back on our own home plane. Then there is the fact that none of us are actually getting hurt when we get attacked, we feel nothing really, which is dangerous in and of itself. I wouldn't trust anything creature wise while we are here."

As the woman spoke, her eyes flitted over to Haemar, wondering why the Wizard had been so silent during the entire time they had been with the Gnome. Was he thinking about things or was he simply too tired to really care about his surroundings? It was not like him to remain silent when things of this nature were being spoken about. "I will have to agree with Wick this time around, we need to get some rest, all of us. We have had a few battles on our hands that would make everyone second guess what has been going on, or at least I would hope. Any information we could want can be gotten tomorrow during the daylight hours and if we are lucky, we can find someone to ask who isn't all over the place with his words. I mean no offense to you Birbin, but you haven't really given a whole lot of coherent straight answers to our questions. I would also like to suggest that we try to find this Green Man as soon as possible. If he does not belong here, then maybe he can tell us what exactly is going on and why he is here. Maybe what happened to our plane has been happening to others. The more we can find out about these shadowed creatures the better off we shall be I think."

Taking a few steps she rested a hand on Katia's shoulder, "Your idea was not bad," she told the woman kindly, "But it would be best if we wait to attempt to tame animals here until we know how the rules of this plane are. What if, if they should die, we have to try to tame them all over again the following day they revive? What if they simply are not tamable because they are nothing but spirits with a stone keeping them on this world? I fear that spirits, animals or not, are not entirely tamable." She gave the feline a gentle and comforting squeeze on the shoulder before smiling a bit, "I do like your idea of relaxing though, maybe there is something good to eat and drink around here so we may try to gather our wits and energy after what we have just endured."

Chayyliel was relatively quiet when the representative spoke, but it was rather clear that they were not happy, made even clearer the moment they opened their mouth. “So not only did they make us wait 5 hours before even considering to send someone out, but now we are listening to someone who doesn’t even really have any real power? You have got to be kidding me! The least you could have done was sent out one of those blasted androids or whatever to tell us FOUR AND A HALF HOURS AGO that there would be a damn hold up! But n-” The female side of the Akæn was promptly silenced when the General opened his mouth to address them, for some reason it seemed they had enough respect for Creft that when he was about to say something they fell silent.

Creft listened to what the UFP representative had to say for them, but they couldn’t get too far before one of the Akæn had one of their trademark outbursts. Not having encouraged them to turn back to Drekavac might have been a mistake, something the General attempted to fix. “Your highness, I consider Drekavac to be more suited for this task. They have a certain talent with… not threatening people during peaceful negotiations.” Having said that to his companion, he turned to the official: “Deeply sorry about that.”

Chayyliel gave Creft a sideways glance before scrunching up their face, arms crossed under their chest. “I guess I can accommodate your request.” they said, their shifting of gender nearly seamless if not a little creepy, ”Huh, usually there is more of a fight… Then again this definitely isn't a war council.” As Drekavac spoke, golden metal oozed over his arms, followed by a near black colored metal.

Creft nodded and voiced a simple “Thank you” to the fellow diplomat before being interrupted once again. The text ACASIAS delivered to him hurt his head, so the sender of it was already quite clear. “ACASIAS, please make this legible” he requested of the computer, who delivered after a quick comparison between the text messages usually sent by Nick and the responses to them. The message went a little something like “Are you suggesting I am the first to arrive? Where are the rest?” The computer had undoubtedly gone a bit further than needed, but at least now Creft could answer. "Vropda should be on her way. Do not do anything stupid. By stupid, I mean anything I would call stupid, since your own sense of judgement is not to be trusted."

With that intrusion out of the way, Creft returned to the negotiations at hand. “An orbital embassy would be best in our interests, as they are less commonly threatened by renovation work on planetary surface.” While that was part of his reasoning, it also allowed for much more regulated traffic in the vicinity and allowed them to install self-destruct measures in case of potential information breaches without endangering peace treaties. He then made a gesture signalling that someone else could speak, not wanting to hog all the decision making for himself as that could be judged as ‘improper conduct’ back in the next council meeting.

Ceraun leaned back in her chair, somewhat bemused by the negotiations going on before her. She wondered how this primitive society had become the main political power in this corner of the galaxy, but she assumed it simply meant the other members of this so-called Federation were weaker. As Creft gestured for another to speak, Ceraun leaned forward again and cleared her throat lightly. “Indubitably, the discussion of compensation will inevitably find its way to the forefront. We can provide the necessary resources and labor to construct and maintain said embassy, and request in return the free flow of scientific information between our peoples. We would also request that our people be allowed to travel to our embassy freely from the surface at all times, even during periods of flight grounding as you recently demonstrated. We further request that the embassy be free from embellishments and security devices installed on your behalf as they may interfere with the delicate operations of our computer systems. Surely these terms should be more than satisfactory.” Ceraun smiled sweetly at the official before them, silently wondering the cranial density and how much force would need to be applied in order to not have to deal with this asinine blathering much longer.

“I would prefer it if it was strictly our people and our devices at all times,” Drekavac murmured, “Alliances are all fine and good, but we all know that sometimes things go wrong and the last thing we need is someone with a grudge on the inside. While it could just as easily happen with our own, at least we would be able to take care of it ourselves rather than having to go through another embassy just to make sure they are properly taken care of. Or risk that embassy just letting them off scott free because they were passing messages upon request.” It was clear that the Akæn did not trust those outside their own fleet, not that they had much of a reason to trust anyone else to begin with. They were already a bit strange by conventional standards and their race was known for sticking its nose into different affairs, who was to say they didn’t have an enemy somewhere simply because of what they were?

Creft couldn’t help but tap Drekavac on the shoulder before leaning forward in his seat and sharing his opinion on this matter: “To begin and maintain a friendly relationship, it is imperative that we actually communicate. Having an embassy open for just that is… well, mandatory.” Having (hopefully) made clear that they were not building a closed off spy satellite, the General responded to the inquiries regarding trade of planets. “And yes, we would also very much like to remain on friendly terms as of now. There is no use for either of us to go waving guns in the face of the other. However, as per the protocol set by Fleet council, I will need no objections from my fellow ambassadors here to establish this treaty. Your highness, Ceraun, do you consent to forming a peace and identification treaty with the United Federation of Planets, on the terms currently laid out?”

“Never said we wouldn’t be open to communication,” Drekavac replied to Creft, “Just that I rather not have anyone but our own in the cogworks. My meaning must not have been very clear. However, I consent to forming a peace and identification treaty with the UFP… as long as our terms are agreed to and met.” While the male side of the Akæn wasn’t usually so stand offish, it was clear they were still not very pleased with how long they had been forced to wait, it never pleased them when hours were wasted on waiting when other things could be done.

“You needn’t worry so much, Drekavac,” Ceraun replied soothingly. ”I am sure that the UFP will handle communication with the same level of dignitary and expeditious conduct--” her expression remained motionless despite an abrupt cough from the General punctuating her sentence “--that they have entreated us with today.” The doctor raised an eyebrow towards the Akæn pointedly before turning her head back towards the representative whose name she had already forgotten. ”Despite my severe misgivings about the nature of this Federation and their level of respect for us, I agree that we approve this treaty should they accept our terms. I pray my trust is not misplaced.”

"I do not want to entertain the thought of being trapped in a building," Thea said, voicing the concern that Katia had failed to, "Something tells me that if those shadows really wanted in then they would find a way in, who knows... maybe they are simply created by the shadows themselves and wherever darkness is cast they can spawn. The idea that we would have to wait for a spell to drop in order to potentially escape does not sit well with me at all, I rather just do watch shifts."

With her concerns expressed, Thea went over to the Tabaxi and draped an arm across the felines shoulders. The attention given was simple at best, she had absolutely no want to crowd the woman as she knew the hate for being confined far too well. Instead, she simply listened to what Katia was asking the Gnome, pondering if she should attempt to ask her question again to the small creature that seemed to be far more absent minded than she cared to be around. "And do you think you could show me a place to get weapons after?" she asked the Gnome, hoping that she wouldn't have to repeat herself again. It was an annoying thing to have to do and if it was a constant she found herself knowing she would grow rather short tempered with the creature around them.

@Gordian Nought@The Harbinger of Ferocity
The tabaxi was rather pleased with the idea of going into the ocean, she enjoyed the rare occasion that they got to swim, especially when she could utilize her own Cloak of the Manta Ray. The swim itself had been rather enjoyable, she would even occasionally mess with Reemes by reaching out and grabbing his ankle, pulling him back and behind her. It was small things like this that gave her pleasure in the mundane task of the day, and yes, she even considered swimming to be mundane though highly enjoyable. However, all too soon to the saber they arrived at their destination and she was faced with something rather pointy being thrust in their general direction. 'Hmph... how rude, it seems that they lack the proper manners when arrivals show up to their city,' she thought to herself as the others began to talk. In truth, she did not have much to say to these beings, but she also knew that remaining silent could paint just as large of a target on her back.

"Oh shush Dyn," she told the Beholder when he mentioned people trying to seduce the woman, "I am sure that they wouldn't mind Reemes trying to get cozy, I know I would enjoy the show. The man has an interesting way of saying things. I can't say anything about the Kobold though..." Nemiea's eyes darted over to one of the new arrivals whom she simply hadn't spoken to yet. It wasn't that she had no desire to, it was more like she rather observe them before even considering being friendly as the last things she wanted was to befriend someone who may intend her friends harm. "On the other hand, Ms. Cynthia, I would say that your partner here needs to learn some manners. Now... what exactly do you mean by deceived into helping?"

As the Saber spoke, she grabbed onto the Kobold's tail and pulled her away from the guard, a displeased look on her face though it was hidden by the shadow of her hooded cloak. "You just joined us, don't start making trouble," she told the female, her clawed hand firm around Askia's tail, "Behave for a little while and maybe we can go to the bar later." She paused to lean into where she assumed the Kobold's ear was and whispered, "Maybe I can show you how to incite a brawl or two over some drinks."

Thea remained silent for awhile as they walked before she gave Theodore a sidelong glance, she always hated it when he was begind her on the battlefield but given his area of expertise when it came to fighting it made sense. However, that didnt change the fact that she rather enjoyed seeing his face and that was really the only time it was free of the mask she hated oh so much, at least with the Tabaxi the Paladin could stare at her all she pleased.

Eventually, as they walked, Thea bumped up against the Templar, a mischevious smile on her face. "So when do I get to have that conversation with you without that mask of your's in the way?" She asked him in a hushed tone, her greatsword resting against her shoulder as they followed the Gnome.

Theodore had been quite preoccupied scanning his surroundings after the brief look at the Paladin, so finding the fellow Aasimar so close at his side managed to catch him off guard. He didn't quite jump, but how his turn towards her was quite a bit sharper than usual spoke much about his state of mind. "Uh, yes, right, that one. You lived with the templar, you should know our code. So, uhh, that would be... umm... at camp or something like that. Yeah, when we get to spend a while resting." Having answered, the Monster Slayer was quick to return to looking around, although this time readier to receive a reply.

Tilting her head back a bit to look at the rooftops she pouted a bit, "Too bad you have to keep that face of yours covered though. I know of at least one other person who would enjoy seeing you without it." A sly smile made its way to her face as she gave him one more nudge, her eyes briefly flitting over to the Tabaxi who had spared them a glance.

Theodore glanced in the direction he noticed Thea looking at and raised an eyebrow beneath his mask. "What might you mean?" He kept a short pause before shaking his head and continuing: "Ah, but that is not important now. We can get to that later. If you want to pass time by talking, please ask a few questions from the short one. I'm trying to make sure no shadows slither in to ambush us..." He didn't want to be rude, but his nervousness did get the better of him.

Thea sported a pout after Theodore's last words and huffed, "We are fine buttercup, if anything pops out we can just gank them to," she told him, "Speaking of which... Hey Birbin, is there a weapons place around here? And maybe an apothocary so I can get me some Javalins and a couple health potions. Mmm... Also, could you tell us where we are exactly?"

As the Shadow that Thea marked died before her she let out a soft sigh and simply waved her hand in a dismissive manner, the mark bouncing to The last remaining Shadow'd creature. At this point she was simply aggravated with everything that had been going on, the luck factor of hitting one of the Creatures exceedingly low as if something simply did not wish for the creatures to be dispatched quickly. However, it seemed that luck had finally turned in her favor despite another successful hit being landed on her. While that alone was enough to make her blood boil, she brushed it off and hefted her Great Sword into a readied stance. "أنا مريض بدلا من وجودك الظل." she growled up before bringing her weapon down on the creature, the blade striking true for the first time in this battle.

'I find the chattiness during battle a bit wasteful,' the Aasimar thought to herself as she glanced over at Katia, 'Cat talks to much...' While the woman's thoughts were normally much kinder, she found that her thoughts had soured greatly, her mood darkening considerably as she glared at the shadow, there was something about this place that seemed to just infuriate her.

Nemiea pretty much ignored both the jester and the newcomers as she continued to play with the badger she had pulled from her bag. Sure she should be worrying about what they would be bringing to the 'table' so to speak, but she had no real want to interact with anyone after everything that had just happenes. Instead, the Saber Tabaxi just amused herself with little things, until she heard Dyn let out a puff of air. "Whats got your tentacles in a twist?" she asked the beholder as she stood up and walked over to him, the way she walked always seemed to look like she would start dancing at any moment, "I wonder what is goong to happen with these newcomers coming onto the ship, what are we going to if they decide to attack us? I am sure killing them would work just fine but it would be messy and annoying."
