Current I love my job, but I hate how it makes me feel at the end of the day.

I didn't make it to my appointment and the reason why is... rather bothersome to me

I'm finding that I am able to relax more now that I have you to talk to... but I'm also trying to be careful not to rely on you too much... I don't want to push you away

Who would have thought I'd be so stressed out I wouldn't be able to sleep? If my mind doesn't give out soon... my body sure as hell will.

I know its bad if you don't grieve properly... but being alone has stopped me from being able to react the way a normal human probably should. Don't compartmentalize people, you'll eventually explode.

Bio

Well... I was told this is a thing I should do... so here is the thing...

HI PEOPLE I'M ETERNALLY BORED:

Hi. I'm Zverda... formally Kokushi on this site! People call me Koku a lot... dunno why it just sorta started up one day and stuck.

- I'm 24 and I like playing in my age range. I prefer to stick with people who are 20+, mostly because I feel more comfortable doing any form of romance with people within that age group. If you are still a teen, I am sorry but I'm just not comfortable RPing with you just yet, nothing personal I assure you. However, if you are not looking for romance, I'm cool with RPing with you as long as you are not any younger than 18.

- I love posts that are decent in length. I won't go Nazi on you about your post length... though I will admit that if you can't give me at least 2 GOOD paragraphs, I will get bored... and fast. I give as good as I get, so please, if you do not want Crap do not give me Crap.

- I consider myself Mid to High Casual. I am not a grammar freak by any means, I just ask that you do not text talk... please have a basic understanding of the English Language, be it American English or British Language.

- I RP in PMs mostly, though I also favor Google Docs if you are looking at it to be more of a story setting rather than just a jumble of things.

- I prefer playing a female character though I do not lack the ability to play a male character, I am just relatively new to it.

What you can more or less expect from me:

On average I write anywhere from 2 to... however many Paragraphs that I feel like. If it is something I am enjoying and you are just as interested in what we are doing, I can easily knock out a few paragraphs, at least on a good day XP. Now I understand that everyone has off days, so if you are having any issues, please let me know and I will do my best to work with you ^.^

Also, I have a tendency of responding just about every day, sometimes I can only manage one a day if I am super busy (which isn't often to be honest), other times I go nuts. For the Next three weeks starting Monday Dec 21st I may be a little slow until Jan 11 as I will be visiting Family in New York, but I WILL respond, I promise you that!

What things do I like you ask?

- Action
- Progressive Character Development
- Fantasy
- Sci-fi
- Egyptian Mythology
- Greek/Roman Mythology

Stories that take place in either:

- Modern Day
- Medieval Times

Things I do not enjoy... in the least

- being the only one who pushes stuff forward, if you have a question about moving forward, all you need to do is ask. If you have an idea, please, use the OOC to bring it up to me.
- Damsels in distress so please do not expect me to play one.
- Ridiculously submissive characters... some submission is ok but try to have a backbone... and this is also something I will refuse to play, so don't ask.
- Insane amount of swearing. Now, I have the mouth of a Soldier so I understand swearing as much as the next person, but even I have a limit to what I will tolerate.
- I HATE SLICE OF LIFE!

My feeling on Romance in RPs:
I do not mind Romance in the least, however I will not make it the main premise of the story. It is perfectly fine as an addition, as in some cases it is completely normal for people traveling together to end up forming some form of bond with one another. I don't expect it to be instantaneous... I rather have it be something that forms gradually over time as it makes it more believable. If Romance isn't something you want to do, just let me know that you have no intentions towards that, trust me, it won't bother me in the least.

What to do with ideas:
I typically have ideas, just let me know what type of things you are looking for and we can always work on something together. If I already have a basic plot outline I will run it by you and if you like it, we can flush it out together and if you don't, then we can come up with something completely new. If you have things you want to do, or just basic ideas off of things I like to do, lemme know ok? Frankly, I hate making people think that I only wanna do what I wanna do, because that isn't true I assure you. The more ideas, the more fun things can be for either party.

After slinking around the Grey District for some time before she finally reached the entrance of the Nest, the outside nothing to really look at, but she knew it was needed to not attract attention. As she walked the streets, she garnered no attention seeing as she looked like a man, just the way she liked it. Arelia was excited to see who would be there, knowing full well that she would get to see her sister again whom she loved with everything she had. Feeling a bit theatrical, she shoved the door open with a bang, "Hoooooooney I'm hoooooooooooome!" she shouted before vaulting into the building and nearly tackling her sister out of her chair.

Sabina had only had a few seconds to even be aware her sister was incoming, managing to throw her arms up just before impact. The two women went over backward in a tangle of shrieks, giggles, curses, and flapping clothing to hit the floor with tremendous crash. Sabina managed to hook her sisters head under one arm in a headlock and began to rub her knuckles vigorously across the silvery blonde scalp.

There was more laughing as Arelia tried to get out of her sister’s hold before finding that she would just have to tickle her sister’s sides to free herself. ”Hey! Don’t go messing with the wig!” she exclaimed, still laughing while tangled in the limbs of her sister, ”Now, where is that Sexy boss of our’s?”

Finally managing to extract herself from limbs and cloth, she stood up and brushed herself off before helping her sister to her feet. ”I know better than to tackle you now get over here so I can give you a proper hug, or be chased about until I get what I want.”

Sabina drew her sister into the hug quickly, her arms curling beneath Arelia’s armpits and around her back so that she was lifted slightly off the floor. “It’s so good to see you. YOu don’t come visit enough.”

She slipped one arm out from under Arelia and waved it toward Valrel. “He’s right there, not a very good boy for hide and seek.”

The sudden commotion shook the Dusthawk leader from his relative ease, giving his heart a jolt that he had been trying to subdue throughout the evening. Seeing the pair wrestle about and then focus their sights on him stirred a spurned irritation with the whole ordeal -- surely, wouldn’t such antics be better reserved for after they had finished their meeting?

Valrel cleared his throat forcefully, sitting up straight in his chair as he addressed the new arrival. “Ah, Arelia… I heard you’d be joinin’ us this evenin’,” there was a surly tone in his speech, though he tried his best to suppress it. “Good to see you in such high spirits. We’ll be needin’ ‘em, once I make my statement to everyone here.” He glanced around the room quickly, taking note of a few pairs of eyes fixing on him as he spoke. “Which I suppose should be happenin’ fairly quickly…” He muttered his last words, glancing down hastily at the scribbled notes laid out in front of him.

Noting that he did not move closer, nor did he move away, Arelia practically pulled her sister along and yanked Valrel into a twin sandwich of a hug. ”You know me, I have all the energy in the world,” she told the man as she and her sister gave him a tight squeeze of a hug. Boss or not, she really did like Valrel, he was a nice enough man to her and she enjoyed making him uncomfortable from time to time, and what better way to do that than to have both she and her sister hug him at the same time?

”Now, business is a thing we must discuss and as much as I like to smoosh you with hugs that involve boobs, I know you need to get your thoughts together to get things moving. I think I’m going to go harass Riker for a bit while you do what you must.” With that said, she patted Valrel on the shoulder, gave her sister a kiss on the cheek, and headed off towards the assassin who seemed to love messing with people in a variety of ways. ”How is my favorite Assassin doing?” she asked once she made her way over there, picking up one of the cups he had in front of him and sniffing at it.

As the sun continued to sling low on the horizons, a young woman seated behind a large redwood desk was forced to reach out to activate the spark lamp that rested on the heavy object, casting the white papers strewn about in an eerie green glow. As always, Arelia was working the figures of her husband Volux’s business to ensure all dues were up to date and any upcoming payments from customers were categorized as appropriate. It was a tiresome job, but it was one she had grown particularly good at throughout her years working for the Bastion Automaton Company since her hand with the finer tools of building had not been a good one despite her husband’s attempts.

Once she had finished scanning the paper with verdant green eyes, she pushed it aside and reached into a drawer with even more papers inside. Letting out a sound of mild annoyance, she pushed them aside and pressed down at the bottom of the drawer to reveal a false bottom where far more warn papers were hidden. Pulling this out, she scanned them quickly before placing them in one of the many inside pockets of the blue vest she was wearing and stood up to look out the window. In the amount of time it took for her to finish the business work the sun had disappeared giving way to the starlight sky and reminding the Noble that she had further business she needed to see too.

Moving away from the window, Arelia left her office and headed towards her boudoir, intent on ensuring she would be able to leave without disturbing Volux who had retired to bed early after having pulled an all nighter to finish an automaton ordered by another noble. Unlocking her private chambers, she went inside, locked the door behind her, and immediately moved over to a large wardrobe inside. The room itself was spotless, though it was kept so by her hand alone as she refused to allow any servant within the room, claiming that is were her area to be let be and do as she pleased. While there was no bed, there was a lush couch that was large enough to lay on if she pleased, the material a soft cotton died a deep burgundy color with golden weave patterns throughout. In front of the large couch sat a darkwood intricately carved tea table with a delicate porcelain tea set resting at the center, the bright white a stark contrast to the almost black wood.

Around the rest of the room sat numerous bookshelves against the walls, the far back wall being the only one with a bare area where the hearth was set into the wall. Her wardrobe, large as it was, sat tucked as close to the hearth as anyone dared put anything made of wood. As she approached the large wooden object her heels let out a consistent clicking noise against the Lapiz flooring, the sound only dulled for a brief moment as she walked across a large area rug that covered the center of the room, the pattern matching that of the couch though the stitching of gold was far thicker and far more intricate. Opening the Wardrobe, she pushed aside every day clothing and pressed a well hidden latch at the back, causing it to slide down and reveal a well organized array of disguises.

As she took a survey of her items, counting stone purses and inspecting clothing for any tares that were out of place, she took a brief moment to look out the window. At first, the darkness of the night seemed to swallow everything, her eyes picking up nothing out of the normal, until a streak of white caught her attention. Frowning, she set everything back as it was before clothing the heavy doors to the wardrobe and strode over to the glass to peer out with far more concentration. On a far wall only easily seen through the window of her Boudoir she finally managed to make out the white object she had thought was a simple streak slowly take form to that of a talon.

Biting down on the inside of her white cheek, she strode back to the wardrobe and began to pull out an outfit and grabbed a coin purse before stripping down where she stood. Setting to work on her disguise, she bound her chest and pushed her long hair back in a more popular style for males before pulling on a pair of black pants, a black shirt and a long dark blue coat. Adjusting everything so it fit properly, she slid on a belt and attached her coin purse to it before pulling on a pair of boots. She had originally planned on taking the night off and resting up after a day of work and taking her children out, but it seemed the leader of the Dusthawks had something else in the cards. Arelia could not say she was too happy about it, but the noblewoman had a loyalty to them that no one could really completely understand.

Moving swiftly, she slid open the window and maneuvered herself out, utilizing the thick vines that grew along this side of the building as a means to reach the ground before she made her way to the Nest, taking the ferry and slinking along the dark alleyways within the Grey District. It had been a year since the last meet up, she could not help but wonder with mild excitement what this meeting would entail.

@Heap241 I am super excited for this to start as well :D Can't wait for the opening post this weekend!!

Vivian let out a yawn as she followed Keshishan, the ride on the ferry had been a boring and slightly wet one as the fog had started to come in and at the moment she just wanted a hot bath on top of what her comrade had asked for. "All that and a Hot Bath in my room," she said, needing no translator. Thanks to her years in the order she had picked up a few languages that she felt would come in handy as she did not always travel with a group of people. When one was on a Solo mission, it was smart to know the language of the land you visited so you need not waste money on a translator that was apt to gouge you for everything you were worth.

The young woman shifted the bag she was carrying a bit so it rested more comfortably before she just leaned against Keshishan, she was tired and she had grown to like the man much like a father. "Keshi, mind if I take the room next to your's or just stay with you?" she asked the male. Out of everyone in the group he knew well her inability to sleep very well, usually suffering from repeated nightmares throughout the night. It was bad enough that she had to deal with horrors in the waking world, but thanks to the events of her childhood she faced them in the dream world as well. It was a rather interesting thing, despite the fact that Keshishan was rather cold, though not cruel, she had latched onto him and immediately seemed to start treating the man as if he was her father.

"Promise not to bother you unnecessarily," She smiled up at him, red hair sticking to her face thanks to the moisture that had been in the air outside, "Promise!" A smile broke out on her face, though it wavered for a brief moment as she glanced around to the other person with them. Not all of those in the Order were aware of the more familial relationship she and the older male had, and in this day and age it wouldn't be far fetched if someone thought them doing something a little less innocent than just talking through the night should she awaken from her nightmares.

Finally taking her eyes away from the older male she noticed the strange look she was getting from the innkeeper, which caused her to raise a brow. It wasn't completely out of the normal to see a female of the Order wearing men's clothing, but in general, women wearing men's clothing was frowned upon and it was clear this man did not seem to like it. "I think you have a staring problem," she said as her grey-blue eyes narrowed, arms crossed over her chest as she simply stared back at the man. She hated when people stared at her, her red hair made her stick out enough as it was, as did her choice of clothing, but she always felt that people could at least ignore the last part as if it was a normal thing. Skirts sucked, especially cage skirts and she had no intention of wearing anything of the sort as they just got in the way.

Hanani stared at the form for a moment, reading over every tid-bit that was written much like one would study a contract for any fine print to avoid agreeing to something ridiculous. When he was satisfied, he signed as he was meant to and looked at the rest of the team, wondering if they had actually agreed on a Team name and if they had, was it going to be ridiculous. He certainly hoped not as he didn't want to deal with something that had to do with tails, he didn't have one after all and it seemed a tad... he shook his head. Now wasn't the time to dwell on that now was it? They had a fight they had to win and a Paladin they needed to ensure remained safe during their stay with the group. Lives had to be preserved and people needed to be taught not to mess with them. Sure, one of the monks had made a show of being able to grapple Ming, something Hanani wasn't all too happy about, but Ming hadn't really been able to use any of her real potential. The woman was a paladin as well, and she was far better with her sword and shield than she was with just her hands.

Once forms were signed and the group was ushered into the Pavilion, he took a moment to look around, a frown on his face. He hated large masses of people and he didn't really trust a single one of them not to stab them in the back, even if they were supposed to be some of the most honorable among they people. Something sketchy happened once and it was clear that something sketchy was bound to happen again if it had last years champion asking them to watch his back. As he scanned the crowd he saw a few familiar faces and some he had yet to recognize, he assumed he would sooner or later. It was then that he noticed many were clumping up in groups of six, which was odd because they only had a group of five. This made him frown, were they able to have a substitute or was his team basically going to be stuck going 5v6? If that was the case, he was not at all pleased about it and he was rather prepared to knock a few people down a peg... or 50.

'You know I doubt that they would let it slide that you only have four other people while the other teams have a total of six,' Mercy said, the blade humming in his hand as he scanned crowds, looking for anything that seemed out of the norm, 'Then again, who knows what the people who run this tournament are thinking at any given time? We could do some mind snooping, or at least you could.'

Hanani made a face at this, sure he could do some mind snooping, but there were too many minds to shift through and there was no guarantee he would manage to get anything out of it. No, he rather scan, look for someone shady, and then try. It would save time and effort really, and thanks to the helm he had come across ages ago, he was able to understand practically everyone around them that spoke a language he did not already know. During his scan, he didn't really see anything out of the normal, just a bunch of excited people ready for a day of fighting, cheering and trying to prove who was the best. There would be a lot of posturing it seemed, and some unnecessary flexing but it is what it is and he didn't much care since no one appeared to be an immediate threat apart from whomever they were going to have to fight. That was fine.

> Take 10 Perception = 31 perception to look for shady characters and anything out of place

Shortly after he finished scanning the groups within the area, he was met with a rather huge metal monstrosity that spoke with excited and quick words. Then he found a potion practically thrown into his hands, a potion that he wasn't entirely sure was what the man... creature... thing had said it was. With a frown on his face he turned it over in his hand, studying it with a skeptical eye before placing it in his bag of Holding. "Name?" he asked simply as he stared at the construct that towered at least 9.5 inches higher than himself, "And who assigned you to our team?" It was clear that the Elven male was distrusting right off the bat, who went and threw healing potions at other people without a word of who they were? Let alone showed up with only a minute to spare? Speaking of which, Hanani had about thirty seconds to prep the spells that he wanted, and that was exactly what he did now. For a brief moment, Mercy seemed to sear with a molten glow of the forge before she went back to her icy black color and Hanani had a brief blue glow about him that disappeared as quickly as it appeared. "And what exactly are you?" he tacked on as he used one of his wands last.
