Appearance: He stands 6"1", has green eyes, and receding long hair. While physically fairly strong, Monk is beginning to show his age, his hair is greying and his gut is beginning to run to fat. He has a neatly trimmed, grey goatee and due to his being short sighted he will always wear dark tinted, wire framed glasses.

Personality: Monk was a fairly happy-go-lucky type, with a jovial if slightly odd sense of humour. This was before he was sent to prison for the rest of his life and decided that, with nothing to lose, he should "let the crazy flow". Though he still enjoys a good laugh, he is a loose cannon, quick to anger often with fatal consequences.

Background: Born into an abusive family in 1970's London, Monk was one of those kids that "never stood a chance", even before he could walk he was an accomplice to his mother's shoplifting, with her smuggling clothes or videos or even food she'd stolen underneath baby Seth. Fleeing his violent father at 15, Monk fell in with a gang of thieves and was soon helping them on big scores.

At 21 he committed his first murder, a hit on a fellow thief, when it was discovered that the man he was ordered to kill was gathering evidence for the police in return for a lighter sentence. On the orders of his boss, an east-end gangster by the name of Tommy Clay, young Seth waited in his target's home for several hours before calmly giving him both barrels of a shotgun as he opened his front door. Things were going well for Monk for years after that, he spent his day to day life managing one of the many warehouses that Clay operated as a front for his criminal enterprises. Occasionally he would get a call from Clay, asking him to deal with some problem or another, usually with bullets. But other than the odd murder, Tommy was happy to let Seth go about his business as he saw fit.

In 1999 Monk was part of a crew that were caught robbing a bank and although he wasn't the one that shot the hostages, there was enough evidence to convict him of three counts of murder, plus circumstantial evidence linking him to at least a dozen more over the previous decade. He was sentenced to life inprisonment with no chance of release. Knowing he had nothing further to lose, Monk became one of the most notoriously violent and dangerous inmates in the British prison system, culminating with him being placed in solitary confinement for an indefinite amount of time in 2010 for taking the prison warden hostage and threatening to kill and eat him. After four years in isolation from the other prisoners, Monk received his first visit. A well dressed man that he'd never met was allowed in to his cell and offered Monk a deal. "Die in a crash" during a routine transport to another prison and enter the tournament, "Win and go free, a rich man. Or die in the attempt and at least be free from your cell."

Seth agreed immediately.

Name: Alexander Price

Gender: Male

Age: 38

Appearance: Alex stands at about 5'11 with short cut brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a lopsided grin and is missing his top left incisor. He has a scar on his shoulder from a gunshot wound he received while fighting in Afghanistan and is clean shaven.

Personality: Alex can seem rather grumpy and serious, but that's just part of his sense of humour. He is ruthless and merciless in his execution of tasks but this hides a softer interior. For this tournament, he is motivated strongly for he requires three million Pounds in order to pay the ransom the IRA demand in order to return his wife and daughter safely, and doesn't care how many of these scum he has to kill in order to do so.

Background: Born in England, Alexander lived a normal life until his joining of the Royal Marines Commando's. Serving in several conflicts including Afghanistan, he became well decorated and became well versed in combat. Fighting alongside his unit in the deserts hardened him into a brutal killing machine and solidified the friendship with his comrades, which only made the impact of the death of Cpl Henderson all the worse.
In 1997 he was assigned to Northern Ireland, and in 1998 he met he later to be wife during his leave, and they finally married in 2000, having a daughter in 2003. In 1999 he was the leader of a Royal Marines team which located and raided an IRA base, seizing their bomb making equipment, several members and one of their leaders in the process
In 2002 he was deployed to Iraq and in 2005 to Afghanistan. In 2006 he was wounded by an AK47 shot to his right shoulder and was returned home, but made a full recovery and returned to the warzone in 2008. Along with most British Forces, he was pulled out of Afghanistan by 2014 and returned home to the United Kingdom. Unfortunately his enjoyment was short lived. The IRA holds long grudges, and both his daughter and wife were kidnapped during a visit to her mothers house in Northern Ireland. Two days later, he recieved a ransom note from the hostagers, demanding that £3,000,000 for their safe return. After the military nor the police had any luck in locating them, and time running down fast, he was approached by a man who offered him the chance to make the money to pay the ransom/

Background: Aelinia was born in the shires of Ireland, in a small town of only 200 people. Aelinia's father raised cattle for profit until a severe drought hit the land, making food and other necessities scarce. They had to sell the cows as a result, and could barely scrape a living from the hard, dry ground. When Aelinia's father heard of the Tournament, and the great amount of money to be given to the winner, he entered Aelinia's name in the contest.

Appearance: Eastern-European, 5'11, Dark unkempt shoulder-length hair, Rough beard, Green Eyes.
Personality: Dmitri is essentially the strong silent type. He has not spoken a word since a Russian Mafia boss had his tongue cut from his mouth in 2010. His demeanour is what some would call sour, but he prefers 'focused'.
Background: Born in 1991 in the soon-to-be former USSR, the Soviet Union dissolved a mere eight months after his birth. His mother was a cook and his father a soldier.. a soldier and a drunk. At the age of fourteen Dmitri watched in horror as his father brutally beat his mother to death in an intoxicated rage. Dmitri served four years for severing his father's neck with the axe he was forced by the old man to cut firewood with in the freezing Russian winter it would have been much longer had the crime not been in self defence. Upon his release from prison he was hardened by a further six murders and several maimings, he had become connected with the criminal underworld and began to forge out a new life as a low level hitman for local mob bosses. After recovering his incident in 2010 with Ivan Solvik - a local crime lord, he returned and slaughtered the man's entire family. On the run from the Russian mob he traversed half of Europe before finally meeting a man at an underground fight club in the Czech Republic, a man in a suit and tie who made Dmitri an offer he couldn't refuse..

Appearance:

Grace is hardly what anyone would consider to be a threat. She isn't intimidating. She isn't physically powerful. The girl stands at a pathetic five foot nothing, and weighs in at 95 lbs soaking wet. Her build is slim. The muscle she has is enough to be quick and agile, but not enough to hold her own in hand-to-hand combat. A single punch would send Grace flying.

Grace's dark hair hangs in haphazard layers around her face, often tied back in a messy ponytail.

Personality:
Her quiet nature and stealthiness are what earned Grace her nickname. In the industry, she is known as The Ghost. Despite being a high school drop out, she is astoundingly intelligent. She knows how to talk to people, how to make them listen to what she has to say. Often, she will use her innocent appearance to her advantage, sneaking her way close to a target before killing them.

Even after getting rid of her parents, Grace was never able to shed her past. Her feelings of self-hatred, a seed sown by the words of her mother and father so many years ago, have only grown. She is a murderer. Even with good intentions, she is a killer. And for that, she deserves to die. If The Tournament kills her, Grace says it was meant to be. However, she has vowed to take out as many truly vicious killers as she can before her own demise.

Background:
Grace comes from a damaged childhood. Her younger years were spent growing up in a small town in rural Maine, United States. She is unable to remember a time when there weren't bruises on her arms, inflicted by her own parents. Her father was an alcoholic, her mother strictly religious. For all the idea was beat into her, Grace was never able to believe in the concept of a god. No god would let her live the life she'd been forced into. No god would let her parents send her to bed with no food and a bloody nose. She was quiet, reserved, and soft spoken for her entire life. She distanced herself at school, and refused to connect to anyone. By high school, Grace was a damaged mess of adolescent hormones and hatred; hatred towards herself, her parents, and everyone else in the world.

They say some people get pushed over the edge. In Grace's case...she wasn't pushed. She jumped. It was a Friday when she killed her parents. 7:24 in the evening. The murder was clean, meticulous. With a scalpel stolen from her school's art room, she sliced her parents' jugulars during dinner. Had they been expecting the crime, maybe they would have put up a struggle. Maybe Grace wouldn't have won. But that was not how events played out.

That same evening, Grace disappeared. She became The Ghost.

She caught a bus, hitch-hiked, and walked. Eventually, she made her way to New York City. From there, it was easy to survive. The seventeen year old kept herself anonymous. She payed cash for everything, stolen from her parents' vault before she left. She cut her hair. Kept her head down. But eventually, cash began to run short. Finally, Grace was forced to find a means of income. She began murdering and robbing. Her victims were always the scum of the earth. Rapists. Abusers. Sadists. Murderers without a cause. Her methods ranged from gunshots to garrotes to snapped necks. No trace was ever left. In time, she began to earn herself jobs as a contract killer. Even so, she kept strong to her ideals, only slaughtering those who deserved to die.

Weapon of choice: Sniper Rifle

Preferred method of killing: From a distance. Grace knows she isn't strong fighter. She stays away from hand-to-hand combat unless she's certain she can gain the upper hand.

Appearance: Argus stands about 5"9, Caucasian with long jet black hair and light blue eyes. He looks quite ordinary, except for the S shaped scar on the back of his right hand, and his constant, empty stare.
Personality: Argus is what you would call insane, he isn't talkative, only ever making noises when he is killing someone, and even then its only a light whistle. Argus is highly smart and logical, even if he seems like a mindless psycho, always thinking his murders through, so his victim, or should i say, prey, only knows whats happening when they draw their last breath.
Background: Argus' murderous tendencies came about during middle school, 3 months into the school year. He had stopped talking, and his parents said he stopped eating. Argus would never let his parents into his room, and would always stay secluded. He stopped talking to his friends, and made sure they didn't talk to him. There were 4 disappearances from the school over his time their, and the students never went home. Argus was responsible for all of them, one of them being his own. Argus was a cannibal, killing his victims before eating their flesh, his room was covered with their gore.

During his 8th grade year, his parents looked into his room. Argus killed them and ate them before they could call the police. but before that, he raped his own mother.
Argus spent the rest of his years as a contract killer, who always got to eat his victims. Argus thought human flesh was delicious, and all other food tasted like rot.
He found out about the tournament from one of his employers, before he killed them for not paying him. Argus joined the tournament for the flesh, not the money.

Appearance:
Personality: Cunning and impossible to peg down. A person can never tell if how he is acting toward them is his real personality or not.
Background: Patrick spent the first half of his life killing the most influential enemies of the Roman Catholic Church. He was raised to be the most sufficient assassin of God Himself. Ordained a priest at 25, Patrick has been traveling the world fooling people with his many personas. The skill in becoming what the situation needed was what got Patrick the nickname "Patches" from those who trained him. Over the years he has become so skilled in what he does that no person knows what the Catholic Killer actually looks like, because when they do realize who he is, they stop breathing.

Name: Joshua 'The Butcher' Tommins

Appearance: 6' 3", Caucasian, Bald, Heavy Build.
Personality: Sociopath.
Background: Raised on a small farm in Missouri, Tommins had a normal childhood with two parents who cherished him, however something was always not quite right with the boy.. his pets often went missing and other children outright refused to be left alone with him; though none of them would ever say why. On Joshua's fourteenth birthday he suddenly and brutally attacked his parents with a nine-iron, he plead insanity and was confined to the Hargrave Institute for the criminally insane for twelve years. Upon his release he was believed to have been completely rehabilitated and deemed ready to return to society. The very same day he was released Tommins' murder spree began, he killed an estimated fourty five people over the short span of two months. He was again caught when a police officer was killed attempting to pull him over for a licence check, the attack on the lawman was responded to with the full force of the local police department. The Butcher was returned to Hargrave Institute until recently; when he was visited by a man in a dark suit.
