(this is the beginning of the story)
This story is about a massive war that was started in between the Humans and the Demons. The war has been going on for almost 100 years and both sides now control half of the world and are fighting for control of the lande between the two. Both sides have gained huge casualties and both sides are beginning to question the purpose of the War. The Demon King wishes to end the war so he sends a demon soldier to the castle of the humans to kill the princess. Around this time some humans were planning to overthrow the King so that they can end the war their way. At the same time the Demon King's son ran away from home and now travels around the human world desguised as a Human Merchant and he has just stopped in the capital city for the night. One of the princess's loyal guards over hears about the take over and warns the Princess. The princess and the guard are now planning to sneak out of the castle and hitch a ride to a safe house in one of the middle towns.

So the basice premise is the Princess and the guard escape the take over and hitch aride with Merchant and adventures ensue (I can't give away the hole story yet)

Ok I'm looking for someone to play: the Princess (age 17-21), a Human Guard (can be female)(18-30),
I'm gonna take the Merchat/demon prince (22), and the Demon soldier(26).
this is not the limit of the characters I will allow up to 6 rpers total (not including me)
I have the short backstory to a few sidecharacters that others can choose from besides the princess and the human guard.

Orphan: a human civilian who stows away in the merchants cart and ends up joining the group. (can be male, female) (if you want there can be twin orphans instead of just one) (young in age so around 10-15)
rebel: A human who was working with the guys taking over the castle who doesn't fully agree with them. they attack the group but joins them after (can be male or female)(age:17-21)
Human Merchant: He knows the true Identity of the merchant/Demon Prince and helps Him hide.(21-50) (male only) (Human merchant can have a wife and wife can be a separate character.)

Optional Romance: If you want romance their can be.
Love triangle choices:

A. DemonPrince->Princess<- Human guard (m)
B. DemonPrince->Princess<- Rebel (m)
C. Both
D. Princess->DemonPrince<- Rebel (f)

the Rule I will create withh the OCC if this get's enough interest. (minimum Rpers I will start with is 3 (not including me), because I want to at least have the Princess, Guard, and Rebel) (orphans are optional characters and the Human Merchant I can control if I have to.)

I'd be down to take the guard. The whole plot is cool...And are homoromances okay with you? Because I have a weird thing for guard ladies protecting ladies they like a lot. uwu If not, it's cool. If we really want romance, I could make the guard a man.

well we can have that kind of romance, but it would be in a love triangle. tbh when I looked over the options I gave I realized that this could be turned into a harem rp.
if there was romance I was going to at least make a romance between the demon Prince and the Princess (because that would end the war) but making it a love triangle will make it a little more fun.

I agree that the Prince / Princess romance should win out in the end--that'd create a nice resolution. And I don't mind if the love isn't returned to the guard; I enjoy playing a character who's hopelessly devoted. Just wanted to make sure no one would be uncomfortable with it.

well this story has been altered alot, it use to be that teh prince was to kidnapp the princess and the romance went from there, then it changed to him trying to kill her, (like the anime mau mausha or what ever they call that anime that is like spice and wolf that has a demon/human war in it), and then it became this story

no I kinda wanted to leave the personality of the princess up to the person taking her. and for the story I was planning on having it start with the princess and the guard sneaking out of the castle and running into the merchant in the town and joining him there. Then they would travel, meet the orphan(s), then keep traveling meet the rebel, travel meet the other merchant, get attacked by the demon soldier, learn that the merchant is the Demon prince, and then be caught by the rebels. and that's about as far as I had planned and I wanted to leave room for other input.

Compulsory question, why a princess? Why not a character who actually has a real position of power, like a king or queen? Unless this is supposed to be like a fairytale, for which I can say this definitely looks like one. No offence meant.

That's a good point--maybe the Demon King wants to kill the royal family in general, and the King and Queen send their daughter away so she'll at least be safe while they do business?

well technically the King and Queen are dealing with the rebellion who broke into the castle and attempted to kill the whole family, which is why the princess had to run away, the King and Queen were protected but the princess only had her one guard that night.
the Demon King doesn't know that so he still thinks his soldier is still trying to kill her.
also yeah it does sound like a fairy tale, but I'm still going to go ahead with this.

This sounds pretty good so far.

Oh I like this idea... I would like to be the rebel, not sure what gender I'll make him/her though... Guess I'll wait to see what gender is being underrepresented.
Also, I really like to play normal characters that over time start seeing things that arent there, but if anyone is offended by me using a mental problem like this, or just think it might not work well in the plot, then I understand.
