Do we place our CS into the cs section right away, or put them here till you accept them?
UPDATE: I have received a PM in which I was accepted aboard the Compass, so some minor changes have been made into my CS Character Sheet Name Kaya Age 23 Which Ship/Crew do they belong to and their position Kaya sailed in on board of the Compass, although she did not know the rest of the crew very well at that time. (I don't really know how long ago this has been) Appearance
Feminine is not the first word people would use to describe Kaya. Her focused eyes might seem harsh to a casual observer, and numerous battle scars adorn her face and suntanned arms. Those who know her a little better would know however, how much her face lights up when she shows one of her uncommon smiles. She stands at 5'10", and does not tend to make herself blend in into the background. She was born with a slender frame, but after years of exercise aboard the ships, she has gained some more muscle. Background
No no, thanks for your ideas :) I do want to find a way to have people be more involved with each other. Maybe if there was a reason why working together would give you an advantage somehow, but I still want betrayal to be a realistic option. I don't think I will let Gods or angels play a huge roll in this story, I don't even know if they should exist. Maybe this is just some crapsack world where there is only 'evil' and 'absence of evil'. Otherwise, this will be some kind of game angels either aren't aware of, or have no jurisdiction over. (Since every participant agreed to play the game) But who knows, depending on how the story goes, they might just show up... Demons might make a short visit, but they don't have anything to gain or lose by hindering or helping the players. Most demons would agree that seeing humans destroy each other is way more fun than destroying them yourself.
I was thinking something along the lines of: If you win the game, you get the right to make a deal with the devil. If you want your wish, you need to trade a soul for that wish. But it doesn't have to be your soul, it can be that of another person. SO if you manage to keep hold of a soul of someone else, you can trade it for your wish without risking your own place in heaven. If only have your own soul at the end of the game and make a deal, you will be allowed to live a full life, but after that your soul will be collected by the devil. That is, unless you can come up with a rule change that would make things more fun, I've been out of the running for some time so I am open to all suggestions.
Nice, I will wait and see if there's some more interested it. Preferably I'd want 4 players at least, but it could work with less :)
I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what drove you to make the decisions that brought you here. All I know, is that you are standing here, at the edge of hell, which means you all have something you want. It means that somewhere, deep inside your heart, there’s a cold and dark place the devil likes. And when he offered you what you desired, you agreed to play the game. Well, let me tell you this: You made a terrible mistake… ----------------------------- So I wanted to host an RP, where the characters have all made a deal with the devil: they get something they want, and in return, they play a game. Those who lose, will spend eternity in hell. The game rules would be as follows:
  • At the beginning of the game, every contestants gets a small crystal, containing the soul of a random other contestant.
  • Then, everyone is dropped off at different places in a certain world (depending on what you guys want, this could be anything from a forest to some nightmare world to the regular world).
  • A person can live without their soul for only 13 days.
  • Those who reclaim their soul get to life, but they have to choose whether they want their wish fulfilled, or to blow off the deal and avoid hell.
  • Those who have both their own soul and that of another person at the end of the game, will both get their wish and salvation.
  • In the game, you are free to work together or lie, steal and even kill, to get what you want, morality won't affect whether you go to hell in this case after all.
Feel free to suggest anything you want, whether it is about the game or anything else.
I'm interested :) How prevalent would that magic be? Can everyone use it, or just a few? And just how limited are you thinking?
I'm interested :) Would there also be human bounty hunters, or only supernatural ones?
Would the people living in that city still be there? And if so, would they be normal people, not knowing what is going on? Or would they be part of the whole wrongness?
Oh this seems interesting :P
