Road Sign: Supernatural, Superamped.
The gigs have been going well. Neither you nor your bandmates can deny that, though all of you have a little bit of doubt about your band's potential to go far, especially considering the group's name.
Road Sign. Who came up with that, anyway?
At your last venue, Brandi Michaels, your current bassist in a long line of players, spotted a man in a five-figure suit and gold tinted sunglasses watching the concert with interest.
Sure enough, he was a talent agent named Luke Fifer and thinks that RS has potential. The band is supposed to meet with their potential agent soon, but something seems a little bit off with him, and Brandi has said that Luke “gives her the heebie jeebies.”
Whatever, RS is going to the top of the world!
Important stuff:
This is gonna be short cause most of this is self-explanatory. Players are members of the band “Road Sign,” or part of the support staff, hopefully about to sign their first record deal, for the distribution of the album “Guardrail,” but something seems to be a little strange with their agent, and a few of the more... Loco members of the group have suggested that he isn't quite human.
Th others don't believe them, of course.
FAQ:
On the note of the band's genre: Players will decide the type of music Road Sign plays, but it will most likely be rock, for storyline purposes.
“Oh, Kaithas, it says supernatural up there, what does that mean?” Well, we'll get there. I'll distribute some powers/abilities in the early game.
Rules:
Don't be a dillweasel. That covers most of it, but more specifically:
1. Listen to the staff.
2. At least at the beginning of the game, your characters are ordinary people, and a guitar will not beat a gun. Keep that in mind.
3. No gmodding, metagaming, or autohitting.
4. Profiles have to be approved.
5. Killing without permission ain't cool.
6. In case you couldn't tell, this is fairly lighthearted. Don't fuss at people for making jokes unless it's out of hand.
7. No bunnying.
8. I swear, if higher than PG-13 sexiness happens, I'll flip. Fade to black, take to PM, nobody wants to see that unless it involves them.
9. Have fun!
Profile Form/Staff Character:
Name: Duh.
Age: Duh 2.0. Should be in the 18-23 range for bandmates.
Instrument: What role do you have in the band? Be creative, I'll allow electric bassoon players. (do those even exist?)
Appearance: Duh 3: Revenge of the Duh.
Personality: How your character acts. This be optional.
Requested Supernatural, Superamped Ability: This may be granted when the time comes, it might not be. Most likely, this is the one you'll get. If you want me to pick, put in “Random.” If you want it secret, just PM me.
Bio: Your character's history.
Name: Brandi Michaels
Age: 18
Instrument: Bass
Appearance:
Personality: A little bit crazy, but all around a sweet kid.
Requested Power: Secret.
Bio: Road Sign has had bad luck with their bassists, having lost count around number 7. Brandi has lasted longer than the others, but that's not saying much when the previous record was a month, held by the first, Zack*. She's fresh outta high school, but is very skilled for her relative inexperience.
*Zack died in a freak basketweaving accident.
