I dont ever remember that. At least not in here. Oh, Khan, I did have a question about your last post. Which sword did Tab throw at the pillar? The one stuck under the ice. Is that just an extra sword?

The pillar? Well The tower was never dispelled and Khold never fell (thus by extension neither did Tab), so he never got to throwing anything.

You mean you're changing actions that you have already written?

Whether intentionally or unintentionally, he made it impossible to carry out the action with the ice tower still directly in front of him. Besides that's what if statements are for.

The way I read it is that Tab threw the sword, realized the pillar was still up, so instead of turning around, he just kicked off the base of the still standing tower, which would allow everything to have happened with changing any events.

Not sure how it would be read that way, as he threw the sword after he fell.

His landed on against the ice tower then struck it. Since he rebuilt the tower back instantly and no one fell, he simply kicked off of it.

He hit the other tower with both feet planted before him, and then aiming for a fissure where the strands of cryokinesis energy bound the tower into its current state, he cut right through a segment of ice, and through that very strand of energy. The effect was instantaneous, with most of the tower instantly dissipating into whiffs of water vapor. In essence Khazna had dispelled the ice tower, which inevitably caused Khold to free fall, along with a few chunks of ice spared from the dispelling effect. Of course so was Khazna, but the drop was only a couple feet off the ground, and he was expecting the drop.

He fell into a crouch which turned into a roll and sprung to his feet in one graceful motion, the whole maneuver taking no more than 2 and a half seconds, most of which spent in free fall. He had hit the ground mere second before Khold, due to his slight head start, though the man was still 35 feet away. Even with his abnormal speed he would never catch him before Khold hit the ground and readied some sort of hasty defense from the unexpected hostile action. He probably never imagined Khazna was capable of destroying his tower so quickly. An easy feat with all that time he had finding the focal point of energy.

So without a moment’s hesitation he threw his blade like a spear aiming for where Khold would fall a moment behind. Should it hit, the blade would easily pierce right through his lower abdomen. Normally he would resort to a mock blade, but there was simply no time. Whether or not it struck, Khazna was already sprinting forward, mercy flashing free of its scabbard as he ran, and if it missed it would pierce another pillar of stone behind it.

No no, the way I was interpreting it, even if the tower didn't collapse, Tab still would have fallen, because there would nothing for him to hold on to, whether or not the tower was still there. So, when he lands, he throws the sword, the sword gets stuck, and because he's running at the tower, it's easier to hit the tower with both feet and then launch off of it.

Hmm did I make it that confusing?

Anyway, he jumped toward the tower cut it, then bounded off, the fact he has no hold is precisely why he would not linger. (skilled as he is in parkour)

Can't expect him to fall forward through the ice tower then run toward it and still jump off after throwing his sword for no reason point blank at the pillar. :/

Well, it wasnt that it was super confusing. I just read it as continuing events instead of moving back through time, so I interpreted it in the most naturally flowing way, I guess.

When you interrupt someone's post you have to realize you also give them an opening to do different things.

As I've mentioned before, Arena is like a Chess Game, and you can't expect the opponent to just sit still while you move, you move and counter-move, within the boundaries of logic anyhow.

Just to clarify, it would be a little difficult to move before Fury finished his sentence because he said that in the sky.

Why's it difficult to move? Him talking doesn't stop Kanitah from actually moving around. Anyway, I'll reword it so it says when he touched the ground.

Edit: Done.

Because your character obviously made his actions in response to Fury being on the ground. He didn't really have any way to know what Fury was going to do until he was at least standing on the web, that's all.

(Moving beforehand would also interrupt my post, so Fury would likely do something different)

Nah, I assumed getting hit in the head was essentially your character's way of drawing Fury in for the punch, which was why it landed when it may not have otherwise.

Is there an AOE on the rings burning effect? Just asking because Fury's choke would be unlikely to put him into physical contact with the rings.

Unless of course simply draining your character's energy for some reason hurts Fury. I guess you could swing that, Khan does, somehow. By breaking the laws of physics I imagine.

They're on his shoulders, the rear naked choke hold has you put your underarm on the person's shoulder, and they're not just small flat rings. They're hovering slightly above his skin. As well as the five on his hands, which are being used to grab at Fury's arm.

I contemplated having Darligrov's energy be Kanitah's energy as well, burning anyone who absorbed it, but I didn't want to seem like I was making it solely to prevent Fury from sucking his energy.
