I am cool with it, um, I would like to get to do something since Robin is immensely fun to play even when she's just commenting on stuff so getting to have her do something active would be even better and all.

That's cool. I come from the North of Scotland, so struggle to get up to date comics. I read them by the trade, so I know Aquaman isn't GA's biggest fan, but didn't know why.

I guess it's easier to get them down near Edinburgh, huh? XD Although I tend to only really get trades anyways, since I kind of prefer those. ^^;

You could have her off in space dealing with something, then her ring alerts her to a crisis happening on Earth. And yes, the Green Lantern ring would be able to scan and identify to robot's technology and find out where it came from. I was actually counting on the fact that your character would be able to provide that information to the rest of the League.

In terms of quality, the New 52 is hit or miss, but I think that's definitely the case with Marvel as well, and with DC before the relaunch. I like the New 52 mainly because of what it did for comics as a medium. It gave people a chance to get into the DC Universe, and attracted a lot of new readers.

I really like the New 52 especially the Justice League series and Green Lantern series. In my opinion, the New 52 definitely helped DC focus on some of their lesser known characters. also Aquaman is a badass now thanks to his series in the New 52.

Aquaman was never NOT badass.

I'll just say that I dislike the New 52 for getting rid of all the series I was enjoying reading.

but the New 52 series was excellent and helped his image. also it would be better that they ended the series good instead of watch them go bad which happened to several series before the New 52, and I really enjoy what the New 52 did with DC magical heroes and the lantern corps.

I... actually don't read western comics at all. ^^;

All my experience with DC comes from the multiple animated series and the amazingly good Batman Arkham games.

... Batman is my favorite Western superhero.

I use to watch anime but once I started reading comics, I stopped watching it and never looked back except the few times I watch a bit of dbz and Naruto for fun

Oh yeah! I live north of Inverness, and we've only got a small comic book shop in the town. I was down in Glasgow about a month ago and spent about three hours in the forbidden planet there, it was like my Mecca. . . The girlfriend got mighty pissed at me though, she thought her clothes shopping was more important!

I got lucky to be honest, I was only really reading Grant Morrison's batman run before flashpoint, and that's still pretty much intact.

I have not been to Glasgow for years, but I remember their Forbidden Planet being a lot better than the one in Edinburgh. XD Although it's still good enough that that and Anime Republic are two of the main reasons from my bi-weekly jaunts up to Edinburgh, I guess. Well, that and the restaurants, but yeah.

I have to rely on the internet to get anime and manga and other stuff.

... Well bookstores help with that too but only a bit.

I end of getting a lot of the trades from Amazon, which I really shouldn't. I always feel I should be supporting the local outlets.

Never read any Demon Knights, they released another one after the new52 though I think, though how good it is I couldn't say.

With a few exceptions, all of the manga on my shelf came from my local branch of Waterstones. (Two volumes came from branches other than my local, and two from the internet.)

Um, well, I was kind of waiting for another Batman post since I figured it would make sense to have him say something first before Robin heads out. ^^; But I'll re-read and see if I can make it work.

Edit: Yeah, waiting for Dblade, sorry. ^^; I'll probably have a new post tonight though.
