Anders had just reached the medical supplies when he was confronted. He turned around slowly. It was Kenny. Anders couldn't hide the anger the showed on his face.
This guy... Again.
"I'm kind of in need of these supplies. As are numerous others." Anders retorted. "I don't see anyone else trying to do anything.."
"Oh? Trying to build a reputation as a hero?" Kenny grabbed Anders collar. "Don't. Bullshit."
That's the plan
Anders brought his arms up and grabbed onto Kenny's arms. He was in no shape to be fighting now. He had the physical edge but his reactions were slow as his head still spun.
Gotta, defuse this.
"Listen pal. People need medical attention. Myself included."
He glanced about the shuttle, looking for moral or physical support.
Kenny glared at Anders. "Keep bullshitting and you'll earn a punch to the face. If you really want to help other people, give me the supplies so I can help them. I'm not letting you run off into the wilderness with the supplies." If it weren't for the machine, Kennys' breathing would be much quicker at that moment.
Anders pushed Kenny backwards off of him. He too went backwards into a wall. At least now though Kenny didn't have his hands at his throat.
"What is your problem? Mask on too tight? "
His anger was starting to get the better of him. The last comment just slipped out. He had no doubt it would provoke a response. That was the whole reason they had a problem.
...Oh, He just had to say that.
Kenny got back closer to Anders and raised his fist to strike him. "You take that back right now you twit."
Instinctively Anders raised his own fists ready to block.
Don't be the first one to punch. By now he knew a fight was inevitable. He just had to play it so he didn't seem culpable.
"Come on man be cool, I've taken a blow to the head" Anders wimpered, feigning weakness. His heart was pumping now ready and alert. He wobbled on his feet intentionally, trying to give the impression he was off balance.
"No need to go psycho again.."
'No need to go psycho again' was exactly what it took to get him psycho again. He attempted to swing a punch at Anders, anger clouding his judgement.
Anders smiled briefly before moving to counter the punch. It's on He side-stepped and Kenny's fist sailed past him. He aimed a retaliatory punch at Kenny's stomach.
Kenny was hit, his arm still outwards after attempting to punch Anders. He was pushed against the wall, but quickly walked away from it and attempted to punch Anders in the shoulder.
Anders attempted to block the attack with his fore arm but his slowed reactions caused him to act too late. Kenny's punch hit him square in the shoulder. He recoiled but managed to keep his feet rooted to the ground. Using the momentum given to him by Kenny's punch he launched his other fist at Kenny's jaw.
Adrenaline had kicked into Kennys' system. He managed to dodge Anders' punch to his jaw. He didn't completely dodge, however, so the punch caught his arm. He staggered backwards slightly, but he pushed himself off a shelf and used the momentum to swing a punch at Anders' stomach.
Anders jumped sideways so that Kenny's punch missed. He spun, keeping himself facing Kenny. He then backed up a few steps until his back was right up against the wall. "That all you got?" he taunted, hoping to goad Kenny into another foolish attack.
Kenny seethed and attempted to grab Anders by the collar of his shirt.
It worked. As Kenny advanced Anders prepared himself. He raised his left arm to block Kenny's outstretched arms, knocking them to the side and upwards. His right arm followed through with a powerful punch aimed at the side of Kenny's face.
Kenny quickly ducked, and Anders' punch hit the wall beside him. He attempted to throw a counterattack, swinging an uppercut at Anders' stomach while he was still crouched.
Kenny's counterattack caught Anders right in the stomach. He flinched from the impact and was a little winded but otherwise was fine. Being crouched there was no way Kenny could have put much power into his punch.
He's too quick..
Anders lunged forwards and tackled Kenny to the floor. He landed on top with his weight pinning Kenny's legs to the floor. He grabbed at Kenny's top and attempted to pin him to the floor.
Time to end this.
"It's over.. stop this idiocy." Anders growled as he panted for breath.
Kenny was tackled, and he grit his teeth.
"Goddamnit, let me go!" Kenny struggled to no avail.
Anders smiled once he realised that he had pacified him. He took a moment to calm down and catch his breath. All the while maintaining pressure on Kenny. "Now I'm going to get off of you and you'd better not hit me. Understand?" Anders said sternly. He slowly removed his weight from Kenny and staggered to his feet. The adrenaline was still coursing through his veins but it was fading and the pain was starting to register. He looked down at Kenny, smirking. He's going to be trouble. I need to get him on side or pacify him for good. I don't think murder is really an option right now. Besides to many witnesses.
Anders held out a hand to Kenny.
"Come on pal. I know we've had our differences but time to bury the hatchet?" So I can use it later
"Now I'm going to get off of you and you'd better not hit me. Understand?" "...Fine." As Anders got up, Kenny pondered the idea of sneaking in a punch. He decided, however, that it wasn't worth it.
Kenny grabbed onto Anders' hand, pulling himself up. He dusted himself off, and then the adrenaline finally went away, and he grit his teeth in pain. "Do not consider me an ally."
He looked through a shelf, grabbed two pills--both painkillers--and gave one to Anders before leaving the room.
