As I'm sure you've all noticed, rpg101's relaunch of his Spam sector has ignited a creative spark in a number of Spammers. I too, have now apparently caught fire.
Unlike rpg101 and Jorick, however, I do not intend to write a story. Not because I don't want to, but because I feel that I am not apt to capture the essence of my fellows in the characters through which I would inevitably have to portray them. The complexities of a person's personality are simply beyond the grasp of my analytic tendencies. Basically, if I were to capture all of you at a decent enough level for my own standard, I would have to put in way to much actual effort.
As such. I'm doing something else.
I have tasked myself with the goal of drawing a number of Spammers in a fantastical version of themselves. For the most part, they shall fall into a world of significant magical powers, with aspects of magitek, gaslamp, and fairytales all melded together in my own weird brand. It really depends on the character.
Now, I know I'm going to get at least a few requests. That is to be expected. I will even try to fulfill those requests. However, I would like to make a couple things clear.
Some people who make requests may not get done. Some people who don't make requests may get done anyways. That's just the way it is. ;]
Now, if you would like to make a request, here's what I advise. Give me something to work off of. There are a lot of Spammers I don't know well, if at all. If you give me pictures you've used for sets, random items or animals or ideas that you or others associate with yourself, or even a complete description of a character that you feel would suit you, that helps me. I may not follow what you gave exactly, or at all. But it helps me get ideas of what I want to do with you.
I'm branding this as Phase 1 of my project. This is the phase where I take requests, and the end products are small sketches of various levels of quality. Examples displayed below.
When I complete sketches, I will post them in this thread and add them to the OP. I'll also notify my victims by PM, so that they don't have to keep up with the thread if they don't want to.
After a while, I'll hopefully start Phase 2, which would be without requests. In that phase, I would take Phase 1 drawings for which I was particularly inspired, and upgrade them to a digital format, accompanied by a sort of "legend" synopsis or something. However, it depends on whether I get enough motivation to actually get good at drawing again. So yeah. :]
TL:DR. I'm drawing people if and when I feel like it. Give me ideas. :D

- I make no guarantee of taking every request. I may get busy or lose interest.
- There may be big gaps of time between when I draw characters. This week especially, I'm going to be very busy.
- There will be blatant favouritism. People I know well in the Skype group are more likely to get done, and more likely to get done faster.
- People who get angry or impatient and complain are only gonna make me less likely to draw them.
- Drawings may not always reflect the individual accurately. These are largely headcanons, and even then only in an abstract way.
