Walker Fray, better known as Swordfish, pushed on the gas in his submarine. Sea King's forces were out of sight, but this last mission was too close of a call. He had managed to demolish the base he had attempted to, but had almost gotten caught in the process. I can't do this this way much longer, he thought. I need more people on my side. I need a team.

Barry wasn't sure what to do. He had spent years fighting the Syndicate subtly, but all of that was over now. Considered dead, Barry couldn't go back to his old life. He briefly thought about making a new identity and going back into acting, but it didn't seem right. Barry needed to do something. He had heard rumors of an underwater rebel, and had managed to pass a message to this mysterious "Swordfish".

As f by providence, Walker picked up his radio. A weak voice from it said, "My name is Paydirt. I want to help you bring down the Syndicate. Come to Gotham City tomorrow and meet me in Crime Alley."

It was a beautiful Night in Gotham City. Well it was a wonderful night to rob the city senseless. He sources said that Paydirt might be on the move again. A pity he was not smarter. He could be useful. There was this Swordfish guy. He might be useful. So in his typical manner the Trickster sent him a message through riddles. It was a coded message that he had managed to get to the man. He had evaded Owlman for years with this method. In the box was a small metal device. A secure com device with a code and a small note 'Say the answers.' was all it said in fine handwriting. The riddles were written the same.
Keep me close to survive
With me In the fields of death few stay alive
I save thee from strife
and am enough to save a life.
What am I?"

He knew the answer was sword.

Forever I move but never can I leave
To breath the air is something I cannot achieve
Teach a man to catch me
And he shall ever be hunger free
What am I?

The answer was fish. So he needed to say Swordfish to activate the device. Once he had done so he could talk to the Trickster.

Dru-Zod had just finished clearing out a warehouse that was being used for a Syndicate smuggling ring. He had been at this type of routine for quite some time now, track down a lead on the Syndicate, do some recon before he would charge in and dismantle whatever he found. But despite what he had accomplished he knew it would take more than just some destroyed warehouses to stop Kal-El and the Syndicate, it would take more than just him. He had heard a few rumors of another hero working to take down the Syndicate just as he was who went by the name Swordfish. Dru had managed to get a simple letter to the man that only requested a meeting between the "true of heart".

Suddenly, two mysterious packages appeared outside Swordfish's window. Swordfish swam outside and brought them in. The first one contained a slip of paper reading, "My name is General Zhor. I'm a Kryptonian like Ultraman. Say the code word, 'Pureheart' at any time and my ultra-hearing will pick it up. We need to meet."

The second one contained an electronic device and two riddles. They were fairly simple riddles, and Swordfish cracked them easily. Once he said the answers, a voice came from the device. "My name is the Trickster," said the voice. "I want to work with you. Where can we meet?"

"I'm meeting two guys named Zhor and Paydirt tomorrow in Crime Alley. Be there," said Swordfish.

His recorded message seemed to have gotten to the Swordfish. Good. Now to find Paydirt. The Trickster then set off to find the dirt guy. His hideout was somewhere in Gotham around Crime Alley. He was hunting the streets.

Swordfish finally reached the shore of Gotham. He hid his submarine and changed into civilian clothes, with his backup diving suit underneath. He walked until he had reached Crime Alley, where two others awaited him.

After sending his message to Swordfish Dru-Zod had restarted his routine of fighting the Syndicate. His current lead had sent him to Gotham after a slave trading ring. The hero was able to find the slavers' base of operations and capture it's head, a thug by the name of Jigsaw Jerry. He had also managed to get his hands on the ring's shipping manifest for there already sold slaves, which he gave to the GCPD.

"Pureheart," muttered Swordfish. He knew that a fourth party was coming to their meeting, and he hoped he could hear him.

With his sharp inhuman hearing, he heard a word of ''Pureheart'' and with a flash of godly speed, he arrived to only see a man that his contacts told him about and his name was Swordfish.

Dru-Zod heard the word he was waiting for, the word that meant he would no longer have to fight alone. So with inhuman speed, anyone with superhuman hearing would of heard the booming sound of him breaking Mach seven, he headed to Gotham to meet with the man he contacted.

Zod raised his brow slightly, though no one would see him do so as his face was covered by his helmet, as he was addressed by the man who arrived after him. He was expecting to meet the hero Swordfish and he knew that whoever this man was it was not him. So in a slightly reserved tone he spoke to the man. "That depends on who is the contact you are speaking of."

"Listen, all of you," said Swordfish. "I don't know who you are," he said, gesturing to Horus, "but we can't talk here. Ultraman might hear us. I have a submarine off the coast. You two flying guys can carry us there before anyone can see us."

Zod nodded slightly at the mention of moving the conversation, if he heard the man say only pureheart he knew that Kal-El would be able to hear a full conversation. He took a step forward and uncrossed his arms. "Very well, who shall I carry then?" He said in a assertive tone.

Horus was somewhat confused...maybe he met up with the wrong people or place. but one thing was certain, they would probably need his help, '' Well if I can be of any help, who can I carry on the Horus Express Flight'' with a big childish grin on his face.
