Perhaps what lurks in the asteroids are simply Supremes or their deep-space probes or relay stations. Or perhaps they are giant cans of spam.

Okay so to the Dwarves and Equestrians, you realise the Cephalrrior literally stated who they were, that they were present and pretty much why, right? How are your fleets managing to get so muddled!

Actually it is just the Dwarves, they seemed to have ignored a message beamed directly at there ship XD
The Equestrians responded well, and just said what they usually say to first cotnacts.

The dwarves are nervous because the Cephalrrior called them 'dwarves' and there are only two groups that the dwarves have come in contact with and that is the Equestrians and the Reapers. Since the Equestrians called them 'new friends' the dwarves assumed that the Equestrians have never spoken to the Cephalrrior before, so this makes the dwarves believe that the Cephalrrior are the Reapers.

I would consider that more of an OOC issue, really. I'm gonna edit the original post to state the nation name rather than dwarves, because I find it a little strange to think that powerful nations have never even heard of each other before

In this RP a new nation is always assumed to have never met anyone else.

Maybe you should reexamine the time skip. Millenia after the destruction of a universe and the serious damage of another, most nations will most likely have changed both in politics, appereance, doctrine, and name. Also, this part (which is still the beginning of th enew thread), those are the first steps of nations in outer space once more, which means that the only way for nations to know one another are through references on almost prehistoric (for the in-game era) pieces of mythology (coming from nation play on th eprevious parts of this RP) that seem to be more real than they should. New nations, on the other hand, have no way of knowing from before about any of the other nations, while other nations also have no way of already knowing about them.

If I remember correctly Keyguy and I said that a few of the religious stories within the Lafkalle Cooperative would be from the Equestrian's religion, thus causing Equestrian Religion to rapidly spread to them.

Also Gods and Goddesses do exist, as very power beings, however we are not allowed to do OP things with them or risk keyguy bringing out the banhammer. We can however do subtle manipulation and communicate with a very small amount of people with them.

Just so i'm getting the just of this correctly, how much time has passed IC between things going haywire and things presently? The figure 50,000 comes to mind but i'm not sure if that's what i'm thinking.

Its about 50k, yeah

The Equestrians and AIF have the same doctrine because of divine intervention stuff

The Collective merely dropped part of the tittle in regards to name changing, they have the same doctrine because its the literal center piece of their culture, and as such they cemented it through somewhat distasteful means. I'm not sure what you mean by appearance, but it has changed, their ships are less ornate and bear less physics identifiers, their structures are much, much less on the pretty side (which is saying something, as they weren't attractive back then) and have mostly become cold, dull and comfortless. Politically, they are grudgingly accepting help for pretty much the first time ever, are much more on edge and have much less time to deal with anything, preferring quick and direct talks over meetings

The Hach were completely absorbed by another race, so they've obviously changed a lot

Not sure with the Sazkarjhit

Pretty odd how accurate all these supposed myths are though, maybe we need to throw a couple in that are completely off the mark to save some face xD

Yeah, while the Korvichai have changed their nation name, their democracy (just by a bit, though) and their home planet. They generally wirk on the same technologies, but on more creative applications of the same knowlede that generally changes their technological achievements. Also, they were almost destructed back then, which makes most nation think they actually were. However, yeah, the Korvichai are fans of tradition and managed to keep most aspects at least similar to that period, while their anatomy barely changed for some reason (I quess it is more acceptable when your race's organic elements contain ferrum and aluminum.)

Also, the reason all those myths are so accurate is, in fact, because they were not myths at all. The mythology of those nations was created when parts of the history became so ancient, some historians started dismissing them as mythology with, establishing their theories by some quite convincing characteristics of that history. So, mythology at that era is basically history noone believes actually happened.

True, but over time history gets distorted. We cant even be sure whether the numbers Caesar wrote about his armies were even true or just him boasting, and that was only 2000 years ago. We have barely any information of 48,000 BC. Now imagine that only in the infinite universe, where your entire race was pushed to the brink of annihilation (or actually annihilated in the case of the Equestrians). Facts are going to become blurred.

And anatomy likely wouldn't change much in 50,000 years. Humans have had a relatively unchanged physiology for well over 50,000 years
