Kyo looked in the pot and blinked. He supposed that he must have forgotten to put the water in first. Shrugging, he filled it up at the sink and put it back on the stove. That looked a lot better.

Picking up one of the long-handled spoons, Kyo placed it on the counter near the book and started adding ingredients to the pot. He would occasionally look back at the book to make sure that he added them at the right times.

Sarah looked at the housekeeper, for one she wasn't talking to her for two she didn't know how to operate a stove. " Well isn't this just a happy day. I'm Sarah you must be janette" She looked at the cookbook page the other girl had open " what do you need me to do here? Im not good at using a stove I burnt cookies once but I can gather ingredients or stir?" She asked.

Jannet stopped writing and put her glasses on the table, after a quick look to the book Jannete chopped onnions, carrots, red and yellow peppers.
"can you fry them?" Jannette asked with a soft voice and took off her apron, "i'll go get soy sauce at the store"
Therewas a lot of people there "oh god....i hope she didnt set the orphanage on fire....." she when she was about to pay lots of people surrounder her asking her for a signature

Kyo looked up from stirring the soup and wrote a note: This will be good, then. Tomatoes are in a lot of good foods.
The soup looked like it was close to being done by the time he turned back to it, so he stirred it a bit more and turned off the stove to let the residual heat take care of the rest.
We should probably get some bowls.

when the soup was done, Chip looked at Sterling then looked at their finished product. He took the wooden spoon and picked up a small amount of soup. He tasted it. "Delicious. We have done well." he took some of the soup and poured it into two bowls. "We made enough for two people. This is your bowl and this is mine." Chip said as he began eating his soup.

Sterling smiled and ate some of her soup. It tasted like heaven in a bowl to her, considering for the past four years of her life she lived on things they could buy at the gas station with money they were given by strangers.
"Okay!" Sky said and she crawled up onto the counter and opened the door that held the bowls and she pulled two out and set them down on the counter. She hopped off the counter and brought the bowls over to Kyo along with two spoons
