Science has advanced the human population beyond belief, and continues to do so through extensive research and experiments. One such experiment, the confinement experiment, took six people and placed them in a sealed environment, one replicating a small town. The scientist wanted to see how people would react after several months of isolation, with only each other for company. The test subjects were chosen carefully for their pasts and personalities. No two subjects were anything alike, being from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences. With an entire town to their complete disposal, it'll be interesting to see what transpires.

The setting, as stated above, will be a small town with the basics- a community center with a pool and ice rink, various restaurants and stores, a few clubs, and a post office, the only way to contact the outside, given the limited amount of internet the subjects receive. Each subject will have their own house, furnished exactly how they specify. They can order anything they please, and have it arrive the next day. Truly, it's free reign.
The only thing is each person has a wildly different personality, the more different the better. One may be quiet and shy, another rude and grumpy. This is what will make the whole experience interesting, so it's highly advised to read the other character sheets to see the other's personalities, and not have duplicates.

personality: Quiet, awkward and introverted, Moe doesn't like to be in a crowd. this doesn't mean, however, she doesn't like to be in front of a crowd, playing her guitar. totally devoted to music, Moe isn't one for small talk, or even conversations. if, in the unusual event, she does get close to someone, she'll be loyal as a dog to them. above all, she expects respect, and will give it to those she receives it from, treating others how they treat her.
short history: Moe grew up in one of the more outback located towns, with a grand total of 100 people living there. her house, shared with her father and five elder brothers, was about a fifteen minute walk from any of the other buildings, and then another five minutes to the only store in few miles. As tradition in her family, each of the children learned an instrument. Moe chose them all, borrowing her brother's instruments whenever she could. She took to the guitar the most, though, and any other stringed instrument. From there she developed her dream to become a famous player, traveling the world to play in front of crowds.

Personality: This girl is a tomboy…a dog loyal and friendly tomboy. Even though she's all fists and well placed kicks, she actually wants to be a poet...though she's absolutely terrible at it.
Raised in a household with ten older brothers and a single working father, it was inevitable that she’d grow up as the tomboy. This is especially true since her older brothers were into many mixed martial arts, and always used to use what they’ve learned on her for fun, but in a roughhousing, holding back sibling manner more than anything. Eventually, she just got good then great at defending herself, and her brothers didn’t have to hold back anymore…especially since she ended up serving their asses on plates right back at them. But it was fun, and they were always very close…her, her brothers and her father.
Another contributor to her becoming a tomboy was her deep seated hatred of her mother, who left her father after she was born, as well as her hatred for her last step mom, who cheated on her dad with some young buck. Because of this, she tends to hold a strong dislike for needed girls and women, and tends to side more with a guy’s perspective or story. Due to the complicated dramas of romantic/intimate relationships, Toms is set on being a spinster till she’s 125…the only things she needs is friendship, and family.

Other: most people tend to call her ‘Penny’, though she’d much rather just be referred to by her last name, Toms. Despite her mastery of mixed martial arts and kick boxing, only her brothers have become certified. Being touchy-touchy, feely-feely at times may get people confused; as she isn’t trying anything, though she teases or tickles…she’s asexual, at best. When she's out driving alone, she'll crank up the volume on her favorite song and sing along~! :D

personality: If one word is needed to describe Yume, "Hentai" would be best. Guy looks like he should be in a hardcore porno instead of real life, but here he is. Yume himself seems like an easy-going, friendly guy, but don't let that fool you; all he wants is to bang you or to get banged, either which. He can be rather flirty, which itself can either be charming or creepy depending on you. Still, he's very nice to girls and boys except when he's in "heat", which usually happens when he hasn't talked to anyone in a while or release sexual tension. When he's in Heat mode, watch out; the guy won't take no for an answer, and he won't be afraid to hurt or kill you if you get in his way. He has a thing for knives, ropes, and oddly enough, axes.
short history: Yume wasn't always this strange kid. Way back before, back in California, his mother was a Thai prostitute. His father was a Japanese man who actually grew to like his prostitute mother, and the two married. But since it was mostly a physical attraction, once their true colors showed, things sort of went downhill. They divorced, Yume's father moved out of America, and his mother just sort of neglected him. He tried to make it on his own, support his mother, get a job. It was hard for him as a teenager, but at least he was normal. But when his mother died from heath complications, something inside of him snapped. And now he's... This. Just some sexed crazed maniac with a very thin idea of what reality is suppose to be. He thinks he's some sort of animal inside a game, and all he wants to do now is enjoy life until the bitter end.
other: Yume carries a bag filled with stuff, usually food and what not, but always have some knives, rope, chains, handcuffs, duct tape, Roofies, and an axe.

Name: Wayne Coleson
Age: 22
country: United States of America (California to be precise)
looks: He has been described as strikingly handsome, standing at 6'2, and usually is never seen without a smile that brightens up his entire face. Cobalt blue eyes and thick black hair - kept short and styled to look messy - only help enhance this fact and his youthful complexion; he tends to stay clean shaven, but his stubble is never worse than a 5 o’clock shadow. He is fit, priding himself on having well toned muscles, without being too muscular, though he does manage to look like he could hold his own in a fight. He has a faint tan like he used to go tanning but hasn't tanned in a while. His clothing style varies based on his mood and destination, but out and about is general polo shirt and a nice pair of -usually- store bought faded carpenter jeans and comfortable shoes.

personality: He is pretty easy going, but he can snap to being serious at the drop of a dime and go right back to being carefree like nothing. He's a huge flirt, and tries not to take anything too seriously. He has a tendency to incite fights if someone's already getting in his face, and is willing to just roll with something happening rather than get hung up on why it is - like jumping in a fight if a friend needs help. He's actually extremely friendly, and tries not to hold grudges; usually he could go from being in a fight with someone to suddenly being okay with them without any real indication as to why. He's not afraid of death, and will take unusual risks if he believes there is great reward - mostly because life isn't worth living unless something's happening. Despite all this, there is an intelligence to him, and even though he would rather act impulsively, he can be very methodical and thought out if he decides to be vengeful (the latter may not come up as it's a very specific trigger I doubt will come into play for this.)

short history: Born the male of twins, his mother was emotionally/psychologically abusive for the fact she expected far more from him than he could possibly achieve at any given stage of his life. She pushed him to learn lots of things, including multiple languages and classical music on instruments and perform for her company when she held gatherings. His parents divorced when he was seven because his mother refused to acknowledge any of the threats of abduction as valid; his father took his sister and he lost touch with them.
When he was nine, he was abducted and held for ransom; his mother refused to pay it. He was tortured, abused, and if it wasn't for a private agent hired by his father after finding out about the abduction, he would have died. He came out a changed boy - though his mother never really noticed - with the accompanying friends that were really the only things to keep him from going fully insane. She went right back to alternating between ignoring him and pushing him to excel. He graduated high school at year or two ahead of schedule. Even though he started college immediately like she expected him to, when he turned eighteen he took off to just wander across the US - after taking a hefty sum from her accounts.

other: He has never been to a psychiatrist for his mental state, so his condition is undiagnosed. That being said, he hears two voices - which he knows, by this point, they are just in his head - of two distinctly different personalities known to him as Milo and Otis. Sometimes he responds to them out loud, but for the most part he carries on conversations with them/interacts with them internally.
He recently finished his time as pre-law degree and decided to take some time off via volunteering for the experiment.

Name: Richard "Rick" Karns

Age: 21

country: United States, more specifically Anchorage, Alaska.

looks: Most would describe him as ruggedly hansom. Rick is tall, about 6'5, broad shouldered, and covered in muscle. His eyes are gentle and a dark green. His hair has just grown past the military crew cut, about an inch overall, and has begun to fill in with the dirty blond of his youth. Facially, he has strong, masculine features with a strong jaw. Rick as one tattoo located on his right bicep. It is a tribute to a friend and fellow squad mate who died during battle. It is a banner wrapped around a stylized sword that reads "R.I.P. Max Howell"

personality: When in front of other people he is a generally happy guy. He cracks some jokes, drinks some beers, and is pretty fun to hang around. However once alone, he tends to get depressed and drinks a little more than he should. Due to what happened during his time in the army he sometimes gets shakes and will hide until they are over, not wanting to worry people. At the core of it, Richard suffers from survivors guilt and in essence is a "hurting hero".

short history:Ever since he could remember, Rick and his best friend Max wanted to get into the military. They would go to the gym and train, get good grades in school, and when they were old enough, go to the shooting range. When the time came and they were old enough to enlist, they did. They both were excepted and passed boot camp with flying colors. During their military career, several reenlistment's, Rick got as high as sergeant but Max never got any higher than a private. During their last tour of duty, the squad under Ricks command got hit by an ambush. Rick was the only survivor. Due to the groups position, a small village of the main city, it was a perfect staging area for the enemy to launch attacks. Rick held the line for days, until backup finally found its way. Afterwards Rick was awarded the Silver Star and had a relatively quite time for the rest of his career, but the damage was done. Rick didn't reenlist and went home. After he went home, he realized he didn't really connect with people, there was just so damn many of them. After he heard about the experiment Rick decided that it was perfect. He signed up and was excepted shortly after.

other: Has nightmares and shakes but is not diagnosed with PTSD, the loss of his friends and all the death just shook him up quite a bit. Can be seen jogging around the town from time to time, once a military always a military. Lastly his personality description should be "The Hurting Hero" or something along those lines.

What I'm thinking is people will show up one by one and led to their personal houses, which they had the chance a few days prior to completely decorate through a computer program(Basically sims). This also includes any vehicles wanted, but a reminder that the town is a total 20 minute walk from one side to the other. In the front hall of each house is a little area with a screen and basically a mailbox. News, flyers and other things the subjects need to know will be broadcasted through here, as well as notes from other players. Its a mail system, basically. It's here that the first event- a mandatory meeting somewhere- is announced. Any other ideas, or questions? :) if at any point you've got a suggestion or question, for anythig at all, let me know.

personality: Mimi, initially, can act very gentle and carefree. Then again, it is not unusual for her to snap, prone to livid statements of hatred for those who summon her ire. She isn't beyond using desperate means to ensure what she wants, though to those she finds herself enjoying the company of, she is excessively loyal to, and she will jealously guard them, no matter how she has to do it. Mimi is, in a word, vindictive, switching from kind to her 'friends' and cold hearted to her perceived, and sometimes completely innocent 'enemies.'

short history: Mika grew up in an isolated town, one of the settlements in the Shetland Islands. Having such a close knit community proved disastrous for Mika's security, friends and family often left for the main land, looking for a better life, better jobs. This started Mika's descent into clinginess. Not one to become part of the humdrum life, Mika started rebelling. Nicknaming herself Mimi, and dyeing her hair pink, growing it to outlandish lengths. This revelation in her mind had all but confirmed her resolve. 'Mimi' decided she'd never lose a friend ever again. Never.

other: While travelling to the main-land, Mika has learned how to ride a motorcycle, something she genuinely enjoys. She's known to get insanely jealous, and not act rationally because of this. Often one can tell when they're on her badside, the unlucky ones, may have a harder time.

Name: Chloe Louise Taylor

Country: New York, New York. USA

Looks:
Chloe is on the shorter side, she stands about 5' 3”. She has blue eyes with flicks of gold encasing the pupil. Her eyes-- like most people with colored eyes--- change hue when in different lights. Chloe actually has poor sight and would be pretty blind without her contacts. Chloe is very feminine and very proud of it, she always does her hair and makeup, and takes great pride in her appearance. She dresses well and usually prefers a professional style of clothes (Pencil skirts, blouses, cardigans, fitted trousers, shift dresses, and other various items). Often dons heels or pumps in order to giver herself that extra height advantage. Occasionally she will dress more to the fashion of her age group, but not typically.

Personality: At first glance Chloe appears to be a very friendly person, however much to the chagrin of those that approach her that isn't the case. She has had a long standing problem with getting along with others. Although it has never really been her fault, people just have a hard time dealing with her dominate personality. Or at least that's how she rationalizes it. She has a strong sense of superiority to those around her, rather it be because they aren't in the same circle as her or their intelligence isn't up to par with hers. To Chloe people are grouped in two categories, people that just aren't worth it (this group making up the majority of people that she knows) and people that are. She has no problem voicing her opinions and telling people pretty much what she thinks of them. Though she has enough tact to know when certain things should be kept to herself. Chloe has a strong sense of purpose and a lot of confidence. She is often considered to be a very driven person, who will settle for nothing but the best in both people and materials. Chloe is intelligent and she likes to be flattered. By far her biggest issue is that she can't really empathize with others, her selfishness makes it hard for her to understand that others have problems that are important too, and she isn't the center of the world.

Other: Chloe joined the experiment for some place to stay and live for the meantime. She hopes that the money she will receive at the end will help her to finish her education and open up her own fashion line.. Besides the world could do a little better being more like her, right?

I have a quick question, which you might have somewhere and I'm just overlooking it. What area of the world is the experiment located at? Or is it undisclosed? :)

I was thinking somewhere close to the Canadian/American boarder, but other than that I haven't really thought of it.

So I just wanted to make this clear for you guys since I'm going to be doing something wonky with my posting.
I cleared it with Banba and I wanted to make sure you guys all understood:
In posts for Wayne, you will see underlined text and bold text. These stand for Milo and Otis who are the voices in Wayne's head. This is to help give you authors some understanding of what Wayne might be responding to out loud or when he gets all distant gazed.

If Wayne is responding in his head it will appear italicized. If it is out loud, it will be in quotations like normal conversation. From this point on, I will not be making note of which is which in my posts.
