Does he have a wife nearing 25 who hasn't had a kid yet?

:P

Nope. He has a friend(NPC) who may or may not be controllable by the GM and who may or may not be part of the resistance.

Hey there :) This is the sheet for a character I was thinking about. This is all very tentative, and if anyone notes any inconsistencies or general logical fallacies, I'd certainly appreciate your pointing it out. My familiarity with the Fallout series is... limited at best, but I've tried to make this guy in keeping with what I know about this RP universe. Thank you~

_-_-_-_-_

Name: Jerry McGuinn
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Appearance: Around 5’6” (1.52 m) tall, stoop-shouldered and unwashed, with an emaciated look in his face. Has small, dull brown eyes; spiky brownish hair, thinning on top, and grayish complexion; missing multiple teeth.
Clothing: Usually wears a dingy yellow shirt and a beaten-up gray cloth coat over it.
Role in Society: Messenger for hire; frequently works in the Underground and the Uncivilized Zones
Current Member of the Resistance: No
Skills: Stealth, theft, moderately competent with a knife
Equipment: A bit of rusty metal, sharpened to an edge, with some cloth wrapped around one end to make a handle.
History:
Born in one of the shanties on the outskirts of London, Jerry became familiar with the uncivilized zones and the underground at an early age. The only son out of three older sisters, he frequently accompanied his father on various odd-jobs, which allowed him to pick up connections with a variety of characters living in London. His mother was a devout member of the Church of England, which would heavily influence Jerry’s own faith. When his father was shot and killed while making an attempt at leaving the city without proper authorization for unknown reasons, sixteen-year-old Jerry took over the “family business,” supplementing it with “messenger runs” to less-than-safe areas both within and without the civilized part of town. All his income immediately went toward his surviving family members.
Unfortunately, issues soon arose for him in his new situation. In addition to lacking his father’s experience at the job, he was also physically smaller and significantly less intelligent than his father had been; he was also considerably less intelligent than his forebear, and was illiterate, and his father’s clients were quite aware of this. They began to take advantage of this, exploiting McGuinn by sending him on dangerous or criminal missions or shortchanging him when the time to pay him came. To combat this, McGuinn began to make heavy use of various enhancing chems; eventually, his dependence on these chemicals became significantly more important than feeding his family.
At twenty-one, McGuinn was hard-pressed for the money to keep up his use of chemicals. It was at this time that his oldest sister was twenty-six, and had still not married or produced any children. According to the law, she was to turn herself in at this point; she, however, elected to attempt to make an escape from the city and start a new life in the countryside. She asked her brother for help; initially, he agreed, but seeing a possibility for personal advancement and being unwilling to disobey the laws he had been raised on, he instead forcibly turned her in at a guard station. He never learned what her precise fate was, but he is not troubled by this, as his actions were only morally proper.
Since that time, he has managed to make some friends among London’s police force by running jobs for them and collecting information on criminal activities. He also continues to work for the criminal elements in the town, although most suspect him due to rumors his liaisons with law enforcement and avoid sending him on particularly sensitive missions. Jerry himself has a peculiar double standard regarding his own activities: he admires and respects the police force which he informs for, and on a level wishes to imitate them, but continues his own illegal activities, which he considers morally permissible, although he would not say the same were some outside person to partake in them.
He tends to respect authority and power, is a devoted member of the Church, and feels a deep personal and patriotic loyalty to the king.

Also, can we (the players) submit ideas for mutated animals? I think that I saw something about that earlier in the thread, but I'm not certain.

Church of England and the Monarchy have been around for 25 years outside of the vaults.

Travelling in the underground you'd need more than a knife, it is something that the Monarchs play on. As they do not clear out the tunnels and only guard people in the tunnels the rest of the undergound system is full of beasties that would just love to eat you up.

1. Actually I wasn't sure just how much of current day UK the King owned. I assumed that northern Ireland was controlled by the King at the time of this roleplay. If so, then it's a vassal visiting his Lord to gain more influence in order to make sure the Krows were treated favorably, while expanding Krow business into England. If the King doesn't control Ireland, then it's a ruler in his own right looking to make an alliance and again expand his business.2. I'm sure Simon's presence in London helped its economy grow. He pumped a considerable amount of money into the city. The King would approve of its effects, making the city more livable. 3. I think Simon could easily have repaired a small plane or boat to take him to London. 4. Taverns and supply shops, sure, I was also thinking "underground" businesses such as brothels, alcohol/drug stores, weapons manufacturing for non-government officials, strip clubs and casinos. He also could have set up supermarkets and restaurants.5. If they worked out a way to convert it to whatever currency used in Simon's territory, then yes.I'm also operating under the assumption that this is an actual city and not one limited under game limits. Like, if we were roleplaying New Vegas it would have dozens of buildings and places of interest on the Strip, not three.

It has the whole city though there are main "civilization hubs" that I listed in the OP. The King has been ruling for 25 years and only managed to gain a foothold due to advanced weaponry. Most older generations still remember a time without a King. Who is right now sticking to restoring London. Of course without giving over technology to his subjects this is taking time. There will be the odd building outside these hubs. Think of it more like Fallout 3 within the city itself. There are a lot of empty buildings but there are only very few areas you would actually call "civilized". Of course depending how long you had been around under the Kings Reign I would allocate you a certain number of buildings.

Bear in mind the King only really has power as the monarchs have all kinds of old world tech and training facilities in that lovely bunker of theirs. They've even got some vehicles that will pop up if you guys are a big enough pain in the ass.

For out of the law type buildings working outside the civilized areas certainly works, also gives the Rebellion a bit of more hope too. They don't have to scout out and prepare a building in the middle of a wasted city they just visit to an illegal brothel or tavern.

Okay - I'll fix that. Thank you very much for taking the time to review that.

I'm looking at this RP and I have made up an idea about a trio of hooligans that I to try want out. A want to play as a group that gives some sort of moral support via dark comedy (Sort of Monty Python/Benny hill with a hint of Clockwork Orange) and the reason for that would mean that they're sort of the first generation that where born into such cruel conditions.

Plus, they live in an orphanage where they're exploited by the headmaster who is very loyal to the king which generates alot of bent up resentment and hatred with in them.

Sounds like a reasonable idea, however the sheet will truly let me see if it is worthy of the acceptance sticker.

Also, can I remind accepted people to copy your sheets over to the vault?

Gotta say, he doesn't pay very well if he pays in caps. London uses actual money and outside of london I'd go as far to say it is all just trading one piece of goods for another.

I've been in a couple of Fallout RPs before so I got used to using a cap system, sorry aboot that.
