Updated Rona's CS with her decklist.

So far we've got lswarms, Assault Mode that uses a DARK synchro, and Lightsworns...I knew going Koa'ki Meiru was a good idea >:)

Name: Lyall Castellan

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Appearance: Lyall stands at around 5'10", an average height for someone his age. He has a strong and athletic looking build, but doesn't exactly look like some star athlete capable of benching 1000 pounds and running a marathon all in one day. The duelist has black and wavy hair which covers his ears and falls down just a bit below his neck, meaning he can twirl his hair with ease when he's acting all non-chalant and carefree during duels. Lyall's skin is brown in tone, and would probably look darker if he didn't always wear his usual getup of dark blue jeans, dark brown boots, crimson shirt, and black coat. He has the crest of the Iswarm on his right hand.

Background: Lyall comes from a place called Aria City, a location noted for its wealthy groups, top duelists, luxurious scenes, and behind the scenes degradation and corruption. A place like this was a place for the wealthy, so if you were poor, you were shit out of luck and either had to resort to crime or begging the city and wealthy for whatever aid you could get.
Lyall and his family were not that unfortunate, and were in fact one of Aria City's more influential groups. They weren't all too bad, and actually made several decent efforts in improving the morality of the wealthy and conditions of the less fortunate. Lyall did his part by becoming a duelist and participating in the city's grand tournaments, afterwards using the prize money for good causes around Aria City. An all around good kid even with his pride...
His works attracted the attention of the Luxim Association, the city's prime group. Dueling its members to prove his skill, Lyall was drafted into the Association, where he learned that its purpose was to protect society from the malevolent beings of the Shadow Realm and rogue Shadow Duelists as well.
Lyall was honored to be part of such a noble work and carried out his tasks of confiscating decks inhabited by dark duel spirits after defeating their owners. Everything was going well for him and the association until the day he found a deck inhabited by his first Iswarm monster, Evilswarm Kerykeion....
Things took a different turned afterwards, with Lyall keeping the Iswarm cards he'd find for himself and allowing his spirit to become tainted by their power. He went rogue on the Luxim Association, and afterwards did quite a bit of memorable things that turned Aria City upside down, inside out...

Personality: I'm leaving this blank, I'd rather RP it out than try and get everything down here.

Deck List:

And done. That took me forever to write up...

ok those custom cards. HOLY FUCKING GOD WTF THATS OP. my brain hurts of the OP-ness (say that [not a] word out loud a few times)

Abyss of infestation: 500 atk gain? with an extra bit of archetype synergy, oh and a recycle effect, in exchange for your "Normal draw during your draw phase" (correct phrasing)

all of the steelswarms you have use effects that benefit from the extra synergy (even if it is just more targets for tributing)
this makes the rest of it a bit crazy to me. I have never played Lswarms, but with any deck giving all of your monsters a plus 500 atk and the ability to get them back from your grave. Unless you can show me a legit reason this isn't OP, put some sort of cost/ lower the benefit.

Goliath....holy fuck that's OP you have to tribute 3 monsters to summon it? no big deal, your deck is basically built to get this thing out, with the cluster and whatnot.
Imagine this thing. if you have that field spell, you get a board wipe, otherwise it is a once per turn Harpies feather duster/Raigeki. The attack is outrageous, no matter how you look at it. the best 3 level (4 or lower) XYZ monsters have at most 3950 atk (normal monster) the other, 2800 with a reasonable effect that is not OP, given its cost and stats.

Goliath needs not just an effect change, but a stat reduction.

I was going to complain about clusters effect (defense is kind of high) but i see with the obvious intention for tributing it is kind of needed. though i do think it needs some sort of a small cost.

And done. That took me forever to write up...

Okay, made some edits to the custom cards. Also added in an extra deck, which I forgot about earlier.

Haha that would have been some serious Anime Logic there. "Oh look I can synchro summon a card I don't even have! "

Or in my (and Yuma's) case, XYZ summon.

Yuma: I shall now XYZ the monster that just appeared in my deck to turn this duel around!

Everyone who actually plays by the rules: Wait... you can't just add cards to your decks during the duel! That's illegal....

Back to the custom cards, I still kind of want Goliath to have 4000 attack. The main problem people had with Hercules is that his attack was too low for a level 10 (they even said his effect sucked), so I decided to create a new "boss" monster for the Steelswarms that was superior to him. I'll still be tweaking him before using him, that way I can come out with a boss monster that is better than Hercules but still fair to others.

Goliath, the First Steelswarm
Level 10
Atk/Def: 3500/0
Effect: This card can only be normal summoned by tributing 3 Steelswarm monsters you control. If summoned while Abyss of Infestation is on the field, no other cards or effects can be activated for the rest of this turn, and you can pay 1000 lifepoints to destroy all cards on the field but this one. Once per turn, you can target one Steelswarm monster in your graveyard. Special summon it, and if it requires a tribute(s) to be normal summoned, you can activate its effect (you do not pay the cost).

I'll just throw this version out there to see how it fares. I'm also beginning to have second thoughts about using this deck, so depending on the other decks we get, I might switch over to a pure/mostly pure Steelswarm deck.

Just... ugh... I dunno, I'm really stressed out right now for some reason. My CS feels like shit and I'm already starting to think my deck might be too powerful for what I otherwise supposed to be a fun and casual Yugioh RP. I don't want to be the reason this RP grows unenjoyable.

Uh, I did say I'd prefer to RP that out. I don't know about you, but describing a character's personality just seems restrictive. Particularly when I just made that character and have no idea what to do with him. Hell, I might just drop his backstory completely and make up a new one.

I personaly think the lswarms are like dark counterparts to the Lightsworn so having the two in the same RP would be awesome hell maybe we could have our characters be step brothers or something I'd be glad to work out things like that if you wanted.

YUGIOH! The series where cards posses people, card games are played 5000 years in the past and where 4kids censor away all the guns!
