Sylar Macey - Outpost - Meghan Cordon/People of Haywood

Sylar trudged through the camp with a dull haze in his head. He spotted the figure of one of the militia men, whose name was... Ben! Yes, that was his name... hopefully. "Hey! Ben!" He called, silently praying that it was, indeed, his name. He walked up to the kid, and gave him a mock salute. "Do you know where Meghan is?" Ben slowed a few feet away from him, and grimaced.

"I think she went back to y'all's cabin- Dude, you smell like sh-"

"Yeah, thanks, screw you too." Sylar said and walked past the kid. He scratched his beard and started towards the smallest cabin in Outpost with exhausted eyes. He looked around at everyone he passed. When someone smiled at him, forced a fake half-smile back at them. With relief, he opened the door to their cabin. He saw Meghan standing beside her bed, sliding into her navy blue pea coat. She brushed the wrinkles from her black jeans. She looked up and her faced brightened, matching her annoyingly happy attitude.

"How'd the council meeting go?" Meghan asked.

"Myriah wants everyone to try and learn sign language. I'm probably going to have to help teach." He said, stripping his jacket and throwing it to his bed. "Where you going?" Meghan went to the door.

"I'm just going to take a walk."

"Alright well, I have to go on patrol duty later tonight, so I don't know if I'll be here when you get back." Sylar sat down on his bed. Meghan nodded and left the cabin, closing the door behind her. She walked off the porch and onto the dead ground. She watched as a cabins dimmed and people began to go in doors.

Abram Chamberlin - The house - Floyd and Jess

Abram woke with a slight irritation in his eye, which he wiped away with his right hand. He stood up and gazed out the window, gripping his pistol tight. He'd kept it with him just in case there was need for it in the night. He looked into the other room to see Jess and Floyd eating breakfast. He walked in and gave Jess a smile. He then turned to Floyd. "I kept this with me just in case I needed it in the night, but 'ere you go." He flipped the pistol and extended the handle towards Floyd. "All yours." He turned and picked up his bag. "I'll be leaving like you asked now."

Emma - Haywood - Katie

"Thats not a mean man," Emma answered when Katie asked of Daniel. "He's my big brother Daniel. He's a nice man, but he's just really, really strong." She smiled slightly as Katie constructed her nest of blankets. It was then that a wave of grief washed over Emma. Katie was so small, so young, so... innocent. A part of her almost felt bad that the little girl had survived this long, to see this much carnage...

"Can I please go see him? Please?" Emma swore silently. She couldn't do this for much longer... How was she supposed to explain that Bull was a murderer? She couldn't! Still, she couldn't let her think that he was a saint like she did. What would happen when everyone wanted to throw him out, or- or even kill him? Maybe they wouldn't know... Bull could join the soldiers...

"N-not tonight, sweetheart, its too late. We can see him first thing in the morning, I promise." She said, pulling the blanket to Katie's neck.

When Katie was asleep, Emma stripped down to her underwear and tank-top despite the falling snow outside. Emma sat in the window sill, which doubled as a cushioned seat. She laid her head against the wall. The window was quite wide, enough so for her lay curled. She did so, lowering her head onto the pillow she'd taken from her bed, and pulled the extra blanket over herself. She fought yet another fit of coughing, but failed. Only a slight case of pneumonia, O'Connor had said...

That night was not different than many of her dream haunted nights. This time, she found herself on the train tracks, being pursued by several walkers. The walkers were gaining on her, as her injured leg slowed her down. A voice rang in the dark night, "Emma! Emma look out!" It was Aleck... She scanned her surroundings. "Emma!"

"Aleck? Where are you?" Emma called back. "Aleck?" She called again. But her foot caught in the tracks and she went tumbling to the ground. Then Aleck appeared above her, his face urgent. He grabbed her by the arm and began to pick her up. "We have to move! We have to get out of here-" BANG!

Aleck fell to the ground, a scream jumping off Emma's lips. Her heart pounded rapidly as she saw the shooters face. The man pointed his long revolver at her head pulling the hammer back. "No! Please, Hex, no!" She cried. Hex grinned and lowered the gun. "I ain't gonna hurt you, Darling, no need to cry..." He stepped over Aleck's body, lowering to his knees. He put his knees on either side of her body and bent down, sliding his hand under her shirt, taking hold her side. "Shh.... We didn't get to know each other..."

Emma bolted upright in the window sill, her eyes already brimming with tears. She looked around... Katie was still asleep... she was safe...

Daniel - Haywood - Shannon

Daniel shook his head. "No everything's fine. Audrey's just not having a good day..." They proceeded back to the living room where they sat down. "So uh... I have one problem..." He looked at the deck of cards on the coffee table. He didn't know how to play any card games... "The only game I really know how to play is go fish..."

b]Hazel + The Pub + Bex/Luke/Jerry[/b]

Hazel smiled slightly, she studied her key ring and listened to the men as they listed everything off. At last she nodded, looking up and studying each of them intently, she then turned back to her stove and finished the Alfredo, straining the noodles and quickly pouring in the sauce. She stirred it silently and added some pepper, garlic powder, and just a few more spices for flavor. She got out a bowl, dusted it off, and swiftly handed it to the boy that requested food, smiling tiredly at him and sighing. "So, you are bringing your entire group to my place. Why? Is something going on? I can shelter you guys, but I need to know if I'm in danger." She glanced between them, biting her lip and waiting silently.

As she looked them over she heard one of the boys speak up, offering food and supplies, how could she refuse that offer? But still, she felt skeptical. It seemed a bit too good, she wanted to know what she was getting into. "I like what your offering, but I can't except it. Not until I know how much trouble I'm going to get into..." She trailed off, watching as their attention shifted, only one of them was focused on her, at least until the offer was made. Then it was different. She was curious as to why, but didn't question it. "I mean, don't get me wrong. But I don't know how much trust I can put into you."

She watched as one man, the seemingly eldest, continuously went to his radio. That interested her the most, he had been doing it a lot lately. She wanted to know who he was talking to. "Do you mind if I use that radio? I'd like to speak with your 'leader' about this little deal." She felt as though she could say more, that he could do more, and that she could be more polite. But hey, these were the guys that wanted to barge in for a while. So with that she finished, folding her arms and smiling slightly.

Shan - Near Haywood - Ryder

Shan stopped, her breathing heavy and wheezy, causing Ryder to shut his eyes and stand still. She doubled over, the backpack falling off her arm as she fumbled with the zipper and began fumbling equally as bad with the valve on her tank, "It's not…Ryder it's not turning…", she wheezed.

"Here.", Ryder started, grabbing her shoulders. He lowered her to the ground gently, placing a hand behind her head, and lay her back, "In through your nose, remember. Just breathe slowly…I'll fix it."

He glanced down at the dial that sat on the top of the small oxygen tank. It was drawing itself dangerously close to the red, and they were miles from the nearest hospital. His brain began working over time, trying to think of all the possibilities for her. She couldn't die on him. Not now. He could carry her, but they would get there a lot slower. He could find a vehicle, but finding one with gas, that actually worked was nearly impossible out here, now. He ran a hand through his messy hair, and closed his eyes as she continued wheezing.

"In and out…", he whispered softly, his hand moving from his hair to her scarlet locks, his fingers brushing over her forehead to attempt calming her down, "I'm going to use the last of it…Just to get you to the next town. Then, I'll leave you somewhere and I'll go see what I can find. Relax and catch your breath and we'll run, okay?"

Shan didn't speak, her eyes were fluttered closed, and she nodded gently. As soon as he had confirmation, he turned the valve on, opening the tube completely for her to get the oxygen she needed. Then, he sat back on his ass beside her, waiting out the attack.

Haywood Scouting Group - Outside of Haywood - Ryder and Shanelle

A large Yukon drove town the road, containing 4 men, one of the scouting groups of Haywood. Eric, their leader sat in the drivers seat, carefully tending to the wheel. They stopped in the middle of a suburban area, quiet and calm. Well... quiet, save for about five walkers that roamed the street. The four men climbed out, quietly and routinely. Pistols and assault rifles rose to level as the unit crept towards the walkers. The creatures turned around.

The walkers were put down in an instant, shots delivered to each decaying head. This was a usual occurrence. What wasn't usual, was that down the road, maybe seventy-five yards, to teen kids sat in the road. Were they stupid? "Hey!" Eric called. When the distance between the group and the two kids was crossed, Eric saw that the girl had an oxygen tube under her nose. "Hey, are you two alright? We can help you if you let us. We've got a doctor back in our camp." He looked at the boy. "Can she walk?"

Shan and Ryder - Outside Haywood - Haywood Scouting Group

As the men approached, Ryder stayed still, even though his body drew itself protectively over Shan's frame. He jumped at every shot they fired, and his breathing was shaky, as he tried his best to stay still, and hopefully go unnoticed. Once they were, what he considered, too close, he quickly drew Shan's pistol and shoved it toward the man's face, "Stay back…", he ordered, his eyebrows low as he covered her body a bit better. She took a few deep breaths, now that her oxygen was fully blowing into her nostrils.

As she sat up, Ryder's arm came instinctively to press against her chest, keeping her still. She slapped it away, taking another deep and shaky breath through her nose, "Stop. Ryder…stop…Listen to them…"

Ryder sneered for a second, before lowering the empty pistol, and lowering the hammer. He was shaking at this point, threatening armed men with an unloaded gun. He glanced between them all before taking his own deep breath, "She can walk fine…and we need medicine. We've been runnin' for ages, but she's on her last hour or so of oxygen. How do I know you're not some freaks that are going to attack us..?", he asked, as Shan began scooting away from him. Her face was pale white, and her lips were a faint shade of purple already. She pulled her beanie a bit lower on her head, and crossed her arms to warm herself.

"Thank you…", she whispered to them, her face tired but sweet, and her eyes heavy. Her short red hair peeked out from under her purple beanie, plastered to her forehead a bit. Ryder turned sharply, narrowing his eyes at her for her trust.

Eric - Suburbs - Ryder/Shan/Others

Eric watched the kid with a trained eye. "I used to be a cop. I know the look of a killer, and you don't have it." He threw a dark-skinned hand towards the pistol. "Plus, you didn't bother to turn the safety off. Its near midnight; you two should be somewhere safe." The man pointed his rifle towards the ground as the girl began to talk. She had a sweet voice, such an innocent girl... When one of the other men pulled up the Yukon, Eric indicated for them to get in.

"Son, how do I know that you're not some "freaks" trying to pull some clever little ruse. Sick girl and a protective boy, now who wouldn't want to help you two?" Eric stepped back towards the car. "We can go back to our homes and leave you here to die. If I was going to kill you, we would've gunned you down 60 yards ago." He extended a hand to help the boy up. "C'mon, lets go before the walkers show up... or before she runs out of air."

He nodded as the girl thanked them. She looked tired and exhausted, ready to fall down. "Don't give it another thought, we're more than happy to help."

Shan and Ryder - Suburbs - Eric and others

Ryder still hesitated, staring between the man offering to help, and his group, who were almost camouflaged in the darkness. He frowned, and grasped the man's hand, hoisting himself from the ground. Almost instantly, he turned and reached down to pick up Shan, who quickly slapped his advancing hands away, taking one of them in her own. She hoisted herself from the ground, feeling as if she had run a marathon, just from that one little action. She stumbled, holding his shoulder, as her cheek pressed against his arm, and she closed her eyes.

"If you'll tell me where to go…I'll get the oxygen myself…", Ryder mumbled as they stepped up to the Yukon, and he pushed Shan toward the door, "I'm a fast runner, and unless you have enough to make it worth dragging her to another death trap, like our last camp, I'd rather you just drive us to a hospital…"

"Ryder…", Shan whispered, her hand coming out to tug at his sleeve from her seat, "Let's just see what's there…"

Ryder glanced back at her, before taking a deep and shaky breath. He was more terrified than angry and most of his lashing out came from the sheer panic of finding humans, and of opening Shan up to those humans. He didn't care about himself, but she was dying. She deserved to do it her way, and to not be taken advantage of again. Their last camp had turned out to be an elaborate scheme to lure in women, and 'boys'. The things that those men had managed to do to Shan, while she was separated from him would haunt his dreams for the rest of his short life. Sure, they had tried it with him, and those around him…but there was something about her...

Eric - Suburbs - Shan/Ryder/Scouts/O'Connor

Eric told his men to make sure that the girl had plenty of room. "Don't worry, we've got what she needs. We had an elderly lady who had lung issues. Unfortunately, she passed on a while back, but we still have three tanks of oxygen left from her treatment." When they were about ten minutes from Haywood he spoke up."I never asked your names." He glanced in the center mirror back at the two kids.

When they drove up to Haywood, the gates were opened quickly, and everyone climbed out. In a hurry, they helped the two into the infirmary. "O'Connor!" He barked. In the back room of the infirmary, a light flicked on, visible to the window. The door opened and Riley O'Connor stepped from his bedroom, a converted office. A tired groan came from the muscular, red-haired man. "What the devil, Eric? It's almost midnight!" He said in his thick Scottish accent.

"This girl needs oxygen, fast." O'Connor's eyes flickered to the girl, and he understood the urgency of the situation. He produced a set of keys from his pocket and unlocked a large closet with shelves. From the back of the closet, he produced a large tank of oxygen, pulled by a carry cart. He also brought a small emergency respirator with a round blue pump. He helped the girl sit down.

"When I pull your tube out, cover your mouth and nose with the mask. It'll force your breathing, but it isn't like the oxygen tubes. It'll feel strange and your body might panic, but do your best to relax and squeeze the pump at regular intervals." He said, handing her the respirator. Carefully, he pulled the tube away, making sure she controlled the pump right. He then removed the regulator from the tank, letting the little bit of oxygen left hiss out loudly. He quickly screwed in the regulator to the new tank, adjusting the valves, and then helped the girl get the tube back in.

Floyd - House - Jess/Abram

As Jess entered the kitchen with her big good morning, Floyd turned to face her. He felt good inside to see that bright smile on her face, one that matched her luxurious dress. He looked back into his food as she started to sip her juice, feeling a little guilty he couldn't provide more at the moment. If he was fully healed, he could have gone hunting in the early morning and caught a squirrel or something. Some may not see it as necessary, but protein was essential these days.

His thoughts altered and jumped once Jess gave a sudden yelp. She became alarmed once she felt a kick in her stomach. As he looked at her, she motioned forward and took him by the wrist, forcing his hand on her stomach. Like her, he felt the same little kick on his rough palm, which actually made him slightly smile. He turned to look into her eyes as she stared at her stomach. He couldn't help but enjoy her enjoyment, her happiness. Even in a time like these where everything was basically hell, little things made her smile. He wished he could also be overwhelmed with joy in these times, but that person didn't live inside Floyd. But regardless, this moment was sort of touching to him, not because of the child's kick, but because of Jess' rejoice. Every time she was happy, he basically felt the same way.

Another surprise came when the conversation began. She asked him what names he liked, names for the child she would soon bare. There were only two possibilities, a girl, or a boy. Floyd never imagined himself as a father, so he never put any thought into anything regarding children. He always saw children as little fragile ornaments or something. They were basically little crying people to him, nothing but a nuisance. One thing he did indeed get out of children was that boys would always destroy more things than girls. This little fact made him think that if the child Jess was about to bare were a boy, he'd be a little Bruce. Floyd didn't want that at all, so he decided and wished for Jess' child to be a girl. With that said, he turned to Jess to answer her question. "If it's a girl, I think her name should be L-" he stopped as Abram suddenly entered the kitchen.

The soldier approached the two, smiling at Jess, but turning to Floyd with a neutral facial expression. Abram proceeded by retrieving his pistol and handing it over to Floyd. The redneck didn't even turn to face the man, making him leave the weapon on the dinning table before he left to get his bag. Floyd then continued to eat his breakfast as if nothing was happening, as if everything was completely normal. He already asked Abram to leave, he wouldn't go back on his decision. Only problem was Jess; he didn't know if she would approve with the decision.

Nicolas - Outside The Hub

He couldn't believe it. After him and his dad were separated due to a walker ambush, Nicolas has had to survive on his own for a few days now, with only a couple of water bottles he got from his dad. Now very hungry, thirsty, and tired, Nicolas is relieved when he comes across an old motel. Could there be anyone inside? Walking up to the wall, he tries to listen if there are any others inside. He hears a few voices and excitedly knocks on the door. Surely they'll have water and food and a place to rest!

Rob- Haywood

The conclusion rob had come to in the last few day was rather annoying...Once again, there was a power struggle, at least this time it was a relatively small one...At least Robert wasn't a complete crazy person...well...that much of one anyway. Rob hadn't done too much in the couple of days that had passed, he just listened. Didn't really talk, and aside from doing his daily duties he hadn't made that much of a notice in Haywood. Rob was starting to wish that he had something to do. He didn't really have any friends. Maybe that was a good thing, he didn't know. But once again he found himself doing not that much. Just walking, and checking....and listening.

Matt-Outpost-People

Some could say that Matt was furious , maybe he was. Some could said that the wall was asking for it...but everyone knew that Matt was not happy at Reggie. As he paced across his room, perhaps for at least four hours. He had many thoughts, some annoying. Some sad, some enlightening. But nothing matter, he was just going up and down. That's all he every did. But one thing slowly crept it's way into Matt's mind...Something that made him a bit calm. Something had to be done, And he was going to do something. He needed more influence...and he was going to get it.

Jessalyn - House - Floyd, Abram

Jess was excitedly awaiting Floyd's response on names when Abram walked in. Jess unconciously scooted closer to Floyd, but still smiled warmly at Abram.
"Good morning," she told him. "Would you like some breakfast?" she asked, but didn't really get a reply.

Her smile faded as he spoke about leaving. She looked at Floyd curiously. She didn't want to speak against what he wanted, but she was afraid that he wasn't fully healed yet. If he tried to do too much, or if they were attacked again, he might get permenantly hurt or worse.

"Could you excuse us a minute?" she asked. Once Abram left the room Jessalyn turned to Floyd. "Floyd? I don't mean to... please don't take this the wrong way," she added quickly, unsure of how to say this without angering him. "I fully trust you. I will do whatever you say without complaint. You know that by now. But... Floyd, I'm worried," she reached over to cover his hand with hers. "You're still hurt. If he stays here, just a little longer, until you're fully healed, then it won't put so much pressure and work on you. He could help guard this place from raiders and walkers until you are recovered."

She smiled at him. "Like I said, I'll follow whatever you wish. I'm not going to disagree with you in front of other people. Just please, think about it? I don't want anything else to happen to you," she said, biting her lip. "Not just because you are my protection and food source, but because I care about you. A lot..." she trailed off, a blush forming on her cheeks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Katie - Haywood - Emma
Katie woke up and rubbed her eyes. She yawned and was about to roll over and go back to sleep when she heard sniffling. Looking around the room she spotted Emma at the window. She was crying. Why was Emma crying? Was she sad? Was she hurt?
"Emma?" Katie called softly, climbing out of her blanket nest and going to Emma. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Did you have a nightmare?"
Nightmares were really bad. Katie hated nightmares. She'd had a few after they had left the underground, but after she had woken up screaming the first time and Bull had gotten mad at her for making noise she tried to keep quiet about them.
The seven year old climbed up into Emma's lap and cuddled against her. "My mommy said there weren't any monsters. No real ones. But there are. The ones outside are easy to see, but the ones inside..." she curled closer. "Sometimes adults are monsters, even though they don't look like it. Those are the monsters I hate the most."
Reggie - New Orleans - Hazel
Reggie held the radio to his ear, though his eyes were squarely on the man named Thomas. He watched the man laugh uproariously, apparently finding a joke Phon said to be incredibly funny.
Thomas was the man Reggie had been the most concerned about. He was very different from his two companions. The man named Bex had a strange intensity about him and was prone to long stretches of silence. He was always looking around, sizing the other men up... but that was normal. Enrique was also a quiet man, but more obvious in his actions. Reggie doubted the man trusted any of them at all. If it wasn't for Thomas, Enrique probably wouldn't be on this mission.
Thomas was much more agreeable than the other two. He smiled often and enjoyed conversation. He made jokes on occasion and went out of his way to be courteous. This behavior seemed fine at first, but after watching Thomas closely for most of the day, Reggie had found it unsettling. This wasn't the world as it was before and everyone now had baggage. Whether or not they had baggage before the apocalypse, they undoubtedly had it now. Thomas tried to hide his baggage-- and he did it very well. Reggie knew that the man had issues somewhere buried deep within him, but he just couldn't figure the man out as his facade of niceties was impenetrable.
Reggie didn't like not being able to read someone.
"The girl wants to speak with you, Reggie."
Reggie blinked, slightly surprised by Luke's voice in his head. He had forgotten he was even holding the radio. "Hand it to her, then," he said after he collected himself. He heard silence for a moment, but then a blast of static and the muffled sounds of Luke giving the girl the radio. Before she could speak, Reggie cleared his throat. "I hear your name is Hazel," he said. "My name is Reggie. I am the leader of Outpost's scouting team. You wanted to speak with me?"
Rudy - New Orleans/Near The Pub - Ben/Simon/Enrique/Nicolas
Having been relayed the location of the hotel by Luke, Rudy and his team had begun a watch on the location from across the street. They were to look out for any suspicious activity until they were given permission to head inside, but that was proving to be a very boring task. That was until Ben spotted a male heading toward the hotel.
"He's listening at the wall," said Ben, peering out a convenience store window. Rudy came up behind him and looked through his binoculars.
"Yep, doesn't seem like he's been near the place before," Rudy said. With his binoculars, he could see that the guy was about his age. Maybe a bit older, but that could have been due to his height. Rudy had never been called a tall guy.
Simon came up behind him and said, "He could be waiting for a signal. There might be an ambush."
Rudy shook his head. He watched the guy then proceed to go for the door. "He's fucking heading in already. He's by himself, so I doubt he's looking to attack Luke. Let's just wait and see."
Simon grumbled and moved back to where Enrique was standing. He leaned back on one of the store racks, his eyes squinting in the direction of the window. Rudy rolled his eyes and continued to observe through the binoculars.
Bull - Cells - Robert
Bull's body had gone numb. He could barely move in the position he was in and his own weight assured that any movement he could make was minimal. He was also sick to his stomach from hunger and doubted that he would be fed anytime soon. These men would look at him and ask themselves, "Why should we bother to keep this guy fed?" Even before people started coming back from the dead, Bull had always been called fat. He had been known for little more than being a shy fat kid in school and it had been some of the worst years of his life. As he got older, he managed to pack on muscle and grow a beard, so he could at least intimidate the people who chose to judge him. Still, he knew people thought of him as fat, no matter how much of it he managed to turn into muscle.
Now here he was, in a position that felt extremely foreign to Bull. It was not unlike his days as an awkward child, he realized. He remembered feeling like a prisoner then too, except the prison then was no more than his own body.
He thought of Lauren constantly. She had been his everything since he met her months ago. He had never been married and had thought the idea incredibly dull, but Lauren was a girl he could see himself marrying. Of course it was a shame he had to meet her after the world had turned to hell, but Bull knew he always had shit luck.
When the man entered Bull's cell, he still thought of Lauren. Bull paid no attention to the man, even as he pulled up a chair and played tauntingly with a crowbar. He heard the man speak, but it almost felt like he was miles away. Bull knew he had to answer, for otherwise this man would kill him, and Bull desperately did not want to die. He had to live, so he could spend the rest of his days with the woman he loved.
"There was a slaughter in those catacombs," Bull said, making an effort to look his interrogator in the eyes. "What makes you think Tyler walked out of that alive?" Bull had known Tyler for quite some time. He didn't believe at all that Tyler had died that day, but he couldn't quite fathom why this man was so sure of that as well.
Floyd - House - Jess/Abram
As Jess started to explain her view of the situation, Floyd couldn't bare looking at her. He had turned to his left and stared into the wall rather than facing the girl. Though she didn't want him to be offended, Floyd couldn't help but feeling that way. Not only that, but he himself was believing that she was right, something he'd never admit before. He felt as if he was losing at this moment. He was weak and needed help, that was what he felt at this point. In addition, Jess could see that he was weak and wanted him to accept the help of another person.
He also thought about her thoughts. Did she believe he couldn't keep them safe? Though she stated she'd follow his rule, was she beginning to change because of Abram's presence? Did she think him stronger than himself?
All these ignorant thoughts ran through Floyd's mind. He was becoming insecure and utterly angered because it was true. He knew he needed help, but since he's never asked for it, he didn't want to start now. It is hard for any person to change their ways - their code. Floyd was a warrior, a man who would never beg for his life because he didn't fear losing it. He would fight until his last breathe, no matter the obstacles ahead. And lastly, he would never ask anybody for help because he was strong enough to keep himself afloat.
So as she finished and asked him to merely think about it, Floyd stepped away from the chair, leaving his breakfast on the table. "Do what ya want" he told Jess as he started to walk from the kitchen towards the living room. If she wanted the guy to stay, then she should be the one to ask him. Floyd had already made a decision, but he wasn't about to argue with hers. Though he was irritated, deep down he knew she was right, he was just absent that feeling at the moment.
Robert - Cell - Bull
Once again the prisoner was absent answers. All he did was respond to a question with another. Robert was being played like a fool, or so he felt he was. So since there was imminent silence after Bull's question, Robert decided to begin the loud fireworks. He triggered the crowbar backwards fairly quickly, then sprang it right back, smashing the cold steel against the big man's left shin. He then took a piece of cloth and jammed it into the giant's mouth, keeping the sound to a mumbling minimum.
Bull's leg didn't bleed, his bone was merely broken from the impact. This would handicap the man and refrain him from walking ever again. These days, not even a doctor could fix up a broken bone. So now, Robert held the piece of cloth in Bull's mouth as the man yelped with pain. And that was barely the beginning.
Robert stared into the man's eyes, holding his position. After about a minute and a half, Robert pulled the cloth away from the man's mouth and sat back down on his chair. He once again resumed playing with the crowbar. "You see...........Tyler........Tyler is a man with a mission. Like me, the man seeks a future of his own. A future created through his visions, through his ideas. I seek the same things. I desire a world without blood. A world where I alone will be known as king. Men like us - Men with a desire to accomplish a mission do not die. We are survivors, gladiators of the arena. We are above the gods themselves. That is why I know that Tyler yet holds breath. His body was not found in the rubble. For weeks we searched and found nothing. That man is out there somewhere prepared to continue his mission. The reason I search for him is because of one thing. The man has altered his mission. If he is what I think he is, then he is in search of revenge. He will one day show his face here, that I swear. And he will cause Haywood chaos. But see................we now hold leverage against that monster. We have his daughter in our gates, all thanks to you. I can see it in your eyes that you honestly do not know where Tyler is. You may be absent thought, but I can see your fear" Robert said, grabbing the man's face by the jaw. "Before your end, answer for me one last question" he stated, letting for of the man's face. "What is beneath your feet?" he questioned the man. He could see the confusion. "What is beneath your feet?!!" he yelled, asking yet again.
Jessalyn - House - Floyd, Abram
Jess' face fell when Floyd left the room. How did she always manage to upset him? She had tried her best not to. She was afraid for him. She was afraid for all of them.
Her first thought was to go after him, but then she figured she would probably just upset him more. So she left him alone for now, hoping he would realize later that she had been trying to help.
Getting up from the table, she went in search of Abarm. Once she found him she forced a friendly smile, even though she was feeling awful. "We... I," she amended. "I would very much appreciate you staying until Floyd is stronger, to take the pressure off of him so he can focus on healing. If you would like to that is."
A little later Jessalyn ventured outside. It was quiet and calm. Birds were singing and she could see squirrels hopping through the trees.
Jess walked around the house, looking it over. She might not be able to do much physical labor, but she could at least note where the house needed to be fixed up and made stronger.
The foundation was concrete, so there was no chance of walkers or anyone else getting under the house. The windows needed to be reinforced, but the structure itself looked good.
On the side of the house she found an overgrown garden bed of what looked like flowers and herbs and a few vegetables. She could make out tomatoes, carrots and wild onions. Getting down on her knees was slow and a little hard but she managed it. From that spot she started pulling weeds. There was a metal spike with a sign on it set in the ground. The sign said "God's work is found in a garden". Removing the sign, she kept the metal spike in her hand in case of an attack by either walker, raider or animal.
There was some kind of shed behind the house, but she figured she could explore that later. Hopefully it hadn't been picked clean and there were some tools to be found inside of it.
By the time she had cleared out a good sized area of the garden it was very hot outside. Getting up was very difficult, but she managed after a few minutes. She had never felt the pregnancy weight more then she did right now. There was a sheen of sweat across her forehead, her hair was sticking to her face and her skin was pink and on it's way to being sunburned. Her hands were dirty and red and her fingers were sore.
Jess waddled into the kicthen, getting a wash clothe and wetting it with some water from the bottle. She wiped her face, neck and shoulders. She wondered how close they were to a swamp or bayou. Rinsing off in the water sounded very nice to her right now. If she took one of the guns, maybe she could go without bothering Floyd. He had seemed like he wanted his space right now.
The gun that Abram had given Floyd was still on the table and it had a few rounds in it. Jess picked it up and held it in her hand, getting a feel for the weight of it. It felt strange in her hand, very awkward.
Hazel + The Pub + Bex/Jerry/Luke/Reggie(On the radio)/Nicolas
Hazel cleared her throat, she listened to the knocks at the door and sighed, how many people were going to come over today? She felt lucky, and at the same time a little nervous. This was what she wanted though. She was handed a radio, and heard bits and pieces from a manly voice. "Hi Reggie, I wanted to talk to you about your group. Is there a reason for them wanting to stay the night? Also, excuse me for a moment. I need to go answer the door." She smiled brightly, talking sweetly and trying to be polite. Walking away from the boys and out of the kitchen, she approached the door and opened it. "Hi, my name is Hazel...come on in. Um..there are some men in the kitchen right now but don't be afraid of them. I'll get you a key and you can just relax and have some alfredo." She guided him in, and closed the door behind them. The radio had been playing this entire time.
Hazel smiled; visibly proud of herself, and went to the front desk, sitting down on a chair. "Okay, I'm back." She muttered, looking around and through the boarded window. "So, do you have my answers?" She asked him at last, shrugging and humming slightly.
Anthony - Haywood - Rob
After about two or three days from his confrontation with Robert, Anthony finally decided to put an end to his personal isolation. During that time, he had been roaming around, listening to certain people's conversations in addition to keeping to himself. He had been laying low in order to prevent any further problems with what had occurred that night at the farm. He knew for sure that Audrey and Henry would inform Daniel, but was certain that - even though he got in a fight with him - Robert would keep him protected.
Anyhow, Anthony returned to the sunlight and roamed through Haywood in search for someone on Daniel's side. He had very important information he had to share. The effect of sharing these news could lead to his possible acceptance in Daniel's group. The man no longer wanted to be associated with Robert, instead he desired a fresh start. He wanted to prove himself a better person than everyone thought he was. In addition, he didn't want Audrey to think him a murderer, though he pretty much was one at this point. Anthony was going to try and do a good deed in order to wash away his passed sins.
Therefore, as he walked down the walkway, he spotted one of Daniel's men Rob. He came up from behind him and placed his hand on the man's shoulder, forcing him to turn. He placed a small note in the man's hand and spoke before heading away. "Give this to Audrey. You didn't get this from me" he stated before exiting. He had become the one thing he never thought himself becoming..............a snitch.
The note read:
"Robert is currently or has already killed the male raider. His next move is to kill the woman raider. He plans to let the entire colony know that Daniel has failed to kill Tyler and that the child brought into our gates is the monster's daughter. He's going to deceive the people into believing that Daniel has been in contact with Tyler this entire time and that he and all of his supporters have ties with the raiders. He wants everyone to be against Daniel in order to take the title of mayor for himself. He is power-hungry and wont stop until he gets what he wants. Be careful with this information. Not everyone is trustworthy."
Rob-Haywood-
As Rob was quietly thinking, he felt a hand on his shoulder, as he turned around to see who it was, the man, who he identified as Anthony placed a note in his hand. Rob tilted his his head a little as he wondered what was going on.
"Give this to Audrey. You didn't get this from me"
Rob couldn't say anything before he left. "....huh" Rob squinted his eyes as he read the note. When he finished it, he quickly looked around to see if anyone was near him.
This is bad...The girl.....I remember her, Jesus. She's around seven. Why does everyone turn out to be a prick in this world? Okay...First I need to find Audrey..but it wouldn't hurt to find...Katie? Rob frowned as he started to head off in the direction he thought he saw Audrey last
Robert was dangerous, and Rob was not going to have him hurt somebody.
Matt-Outpost-People
You may say it was crazy, but Matt thought it was good thing. He was a sensible person, he knew what to do and how to do it. He could lead, sadly some people just wouldn't understand...and sadly he would have to deal with those people. So as he held the gun in his right hand, he wondered what would of happened if all people thought like him. But he knew that world could never happen. He looked at his gun, of course he couldn't just shoot people because that would cause outpost to go into Chaos. So he would have to be a little indirect, or if he really had to..be direct, then at least do it well. Some people he would have to find ways to kill their reputation and not them. But one person who kept going through Matt's mind, someone who had annoyed him for so long. He knew he would deal with him
Be ready Reggie, because I'm coming for you
