20 bucks and no break, and you got a deal.Make sure you edge that shit too. And pull out all the weeds. Also sweeping up the sidewalk and raking up last years leaves.

I was working for a tree service at age 14, and every summer thereafter until I graduated high school, and I now work there full time. I get up at 3am to go on a two hour commute to the capital district area from the fucking mountains in upstate New York. I dragged brush 80 yards across an open field in the hot sun today to reach the chipper, and then wheeled several wheelbarrow loads of blocks of wood to throw onto the back of the chip truck, cleaned up the mess of the trees we had taken down, and that was just what I did after my lunch at 11:30. That was one job, and we completed 5 today, so I'd have to humbly disagree with you there.

My previous statement may have been a lie.

I wasn't bragging about what I do, I was giving a real life example of why I disagree that white kids don't work for crap. I'm not a very social person, so I used myself for the example. My cousin has been doing the same thing for longer than I, and I by no means meant to demean anyone else with my statements, so what's so prideful in my statements that I can't say that I humbly disagree? Sure I stressed some details about how hard the job is, but it's not just that way for me. The point is that I'm one of many in my family, and in my line of work, [EDIT: and in many lines of work,] who do work hard, and are white. Happy now?

That's against labor laws in the state of New York, unless it's changed in the last ten years. Minimum age for gainful employment is 16 with a work permit, normally 18.
