Personality: Yami is a very...merciless, rebelliously aggressive boy who believes that actions speak louder than words. He enjoys writing short stories, drawing, and reading novels whenever he isn't doing something in his spare time, and he currently 'suffers' from minor OCD. Yami can appear to be coldly aloof or uncaring, because he doesn't show many smiling, kind facial expressions - but it's just how he is. He's not a very...touchy feely kind of boy, and enjoys spending time alone. Not to confuse him with a mopey, depressed teenager. He enjoys practical jokes, and his sharp wit is only challenged by his even sharper mind. Since the zombie infection, he seems to be developing sociopathic qualities - he has become more...wreckless, doing things that could potentially injure him or even end with his death, and he has become somthing of a 'kamikaze cannon'.

Biography: Originally born, rather illegally, in the mountains of Mount Fuji, Yami was treated to a rather hostile dwelling from an extremely young age. He didn't have any real family problems - his mother was a self-indulged archeologist, and his father was her intern. The hostility mainly came from the mountain's original tribesmen. They harassed the small family, setting fire to their crops, stealing the rock samples they dug from the mountain's core, and generally making their life a living Hell. To combat this attack on his psyche, Yami became quiet and sharp, spending his time mulling over the novels his mother brought with her from Tokyo, and writing his own stories and novels in the meantime. Art also became an important lifeline in his lonely life - that is, until he was taken out of his little crevice of mountain and moved to the main island. There, he went to Fushimi Academy, a stranger to mostly everyone. He took up classes in close quarter combat, quickly recognizing his talent and becoming the CQC Captain. Life was rather...interesting, if not boring. That is...until zombies 'n shit.

Due to his history of violence, people have always seemed scared of him and treated him as if he was a psychopath….Which had caused him to take on a tough guy facade hiding the true him. Every time he’s approached he tells those trying to speak to him to fuck off, or he just walks away quickly. In reality he pushes people away due to not wanting to get close….And because he’s a tad bit shy, and may have anxiety. Though that side of him is never shown, his so called ‘sweet side’ has only been shown to his deceased sister.

Biography:
Matthew grew up in America with his ill sister, Miyume and his parents. His sister spent her time in the hospital due to her serious condition, which led him to attempt to make things for her. He was a creative kid, able to make small stuffed teddy bears, though he was always called out on it despite his sister liking them. He was always told to stop because it was girly, and that he was meant to be tough like a man. It annoyed him, but he never spoke on it, just stopped making stuff in public. Though throughout that time he began acting like someone he wasn’t, acting ‘tough’ and immediately resorting to hitting those that talked shit about him just so everyone could stop with the be manly stuff. He still made the bears privately though, and always showed them to his sister.

At age fifteen, Matthew was shipped off to Japan to live with his Aunt due to how many fights he always got into. It hit him hard that he wasn’t able to see his sister, or even talk to her….What hit harder was her death, a couple weeks after the move, it caused him to become quiet and more anti-social. He hardly talked in school, with people calling him weird, he had gotten into a few fights because of it. As he got older, the less people tried talking to him….Except one guy, a transfer student like him, Alex. Alex was his best friend, the only person who really saw well in him and what he could become. Of course, Matthew began growing feelings he didn’t know how to express….But he also knew people didn’t really except homosexuality, atleast from what he’d seen in America, so he tried pushing those feelings away. Being a decent looking guy, he somehow managed to get some from a couple girls….It was alright to him, but it just didn’t feel right to him. He lacked caring, and still didn’t know how to express it when Alex asked how it was.

A year later, age seventeen, Alex had moved back to America which caused Matthew to shut himself out again. Being confused of his sexuality, having no friends, no one to let things out to….And on top of that school work, Matthew couldn’t really handle it. It led to skipping school and a few more fights, he didn’t care much, but knew Alex would want better of him. He started getting his grades up more, but still skipped a few times, but got into less fights throughout that year and the next. Hardly made anymore friends though as he was labeled as that one thug who fought everyone.
