Fujimi Academy

The starting point for when everything went to absolute Hell. A school, originally funded back in 1997, and now the monumental, highest-rated school it is today. It is located in Tokonosu City. The school is filled with a variety of students, some all the way from America. The school's original foundation is the basic cement/stone mixture you would see in any other schools today. The former material used for Fujimi Academy was wood from a Sakura tree, but the staff quickly reinforced it with actual sturdy material once an American student set the whole academy ablaze. Large iron gates separates the school's courtyard from the outside world, which is, in this case, a long blacktop road surrounded by forests on both sides. The road leads both North and South, where North is where Tokonosu City lies, only a few miles away, while South leads far away, somewhere into the mountains.

It was simply another day inside of Fujimi Academy. Birds were chippering amongst siblings, teachers sat inside of air-conditioned classrooms, boredly taking role, while students meandered the halls, either skipping, or carrying out an errand for a lazy professor. Unknown to the populace...this wouldn't be a simple school day, like the rest of the days. It would be a Hell of a lot worse...'cuz zombies n shit.

Personality: Yami is a very...merciless, rebelliously aggressive boy who believes that actions speak louder than words. He enjoys writing short stories, drawing, and reading novels whenever he isn't doing something in his spare time, and he currently 'suffers' from minor OCD. Yami can appear to be coldly aloof or uncaring, because he doesn't show many smiling, kind facial expressions - but it's just how he is. He's not a very...touchy feely kind of boy, and enjoys spending time alone. Not to confuse him with a mopey, depressed teenager. He enjoys practical jokes, and his sharp wit is only challenged by his even sharper mind. Since the zombie infection, he seems to be developing sociopathic qualities - he has become more...wreckless, doing things that could potentially injure him or even end with his death, and he has become somthing of a 'kamikaze cannon'.

Biography: Originally born, rather illegally, in the mountains of Mount Fuji, Yami was treated to a rather hostile dwelling from an extremely young age. He didn't have any real family problems - his mother was a self-indulged archeologist, and his father was her intern. The hostility mainly came from the mountain's original tribesmen. They harassed the small family, setting fire to their crops, stealing the rock samples they dug from the mountain's core, and generally making their life a living Hell. To combat this attack on his psyche, Yami became quiet and sharp, spending his time mulling over the novels his mother brought with her from Tokyo, and writing his own stories and novels in the meantime. Art also became an important lifeline in his lonely life - that is, until he was taken out of his little crevice of mountain and moved to the main island. There, he went to Fushimi Academy, a stranger to mostly everyone. He took up classes in close quarter combat, quickly recognizing his talent and becoming the CQC Captain. Life was rather...interesting, if not boring. That is...until zombies 'n shit.

Personality: Nakamura is a soft spoken, yet quick witted and sarcastic individual. He doesn't have a very high tolerance for things that he perceives as stupid, and is not afraid to tell people when he is displeased. His sharp tongue often makes him hard to warm up to, and he is very distrusting of others. Very stubborn, he has a very hard time admitting when he is wrong and does not like giving others much credit. Despite this, Nakamura is generally kind if you get to know him and is a very protective, thoughtful, and reflective person.

Biography: Nakamura was born from two parents who could never even stand to look at each other. It wasn't long until his parents had a trial separation, which soon led to a divorce. For most of his life, Nakamura bounced between the care of his two parents and grew a foul perspective of life through his turbulent upbringing. In school, "Naki" is considered somewhat of a wildcard; He is generally quiet and doesn't bother people much, but he is infamous for his moments of mouthing off to those unfortunate enough to be considered in his mind "annoying."

Biography: Angelo was born into a normal Hispanic family and they always treated him well although he always seemed to be sarcastic and even in the worst of moments he will find something to laugh about and bring his spirit up. He loves playing video games and he always wanted to become a doctor to help people no matter what so he transferred to the school and joined their medical program so he could become a respected doctor.

Biography : Hiro is the only child of the Tendo family a powerful and influential agricultural family of Okinawa.
Hiro is heiress to 14,000 acres of farmland, 6 factories, 5 cargo ships and 15-25 fishing boats but acts more like a country girl than one of the Elite of the school. Her name Hiro more often used as a boy's name means generous and she is known for her generosity.
Her parents are world travelers so most of her upbringing has been at the hands of her maternal grand parents who own a small farm of perhaps 100 acres and live the simple rural life of the farmers of Okinawa. Living on the small farm most of the time has made Hiro a rugged and tomboyish type of girl who's thought of as possibly Yuri but no one is truly sure because she's never shown a preference.
As an heiress Hiro could be a member of any of the Elite and exclusive clubs at Fujimi Academy but belongs to only one. She is one of the Otaku / Cosplay club's few female members and is called Cami for her Chameleon like ability to become the character she is dressed as.
Daring she has worn costumes so abbreviated that during Omaki performances she's been covered by a coat or sheet by faculty.

There is not really anything extraordinarily interesting about Howlite; some might say that he could be one of the most painfully normal people on the face of the earth, and is your typical average joe. Though slightly taciturn and withdrawn, he is easy to befriend and finds comfort in the company of others. He is able to remain tempered under stressful situations, and is able to fixate his focus clearly on the task at hand.

After the ordeal involving the zombie apocalypse, Howlite has become more aware of his surroundings, and is constantly active on alert. Seeing the death and transformation of a number of his (now former) friends and associates, he has made it a priority over his life to prevent the same from happening to others.

Biography:
The second son of a wealthy proprietor and a university professor, Howlite Maeda was able to live a relaxed lifestyle with all of the luxuries that his family could easily afford. He was born in the Kantai region of Japan (specifically Osaka) and was one of the popular kids at the best schools, often marked by the middle class as the stereotypical snob. Despite this, he was modest in his interactions and never thought much of his economic status, curious as to why being wealthy was such a controversial issue.

That being said, Howlite was just an ordinary boy; he got in the best schools because of his good grades, made many friends and (reluctantly) some enemies, played enough sports to balance with his academic performance, and everything else the normal, healthy boy condoned themselves in.

Due to his history of violence, people have always seemed scared of him and treated him as if he was a psychopath….Which had caused him to take on a tough guy facade hiding the true him. Every time he’s approached he tells those trying to speak to him to fuck off, or he just walks away quickly. In reality he pushes people away due to not wanting to get close….And because he’s a tad bit shy, and may have anxiety. Though that side of him is never shown, his so called ‘sweet side’ has only been shown to his deceased sister.

Biography:
Matthew grew up in America with his ill sister, Miyume and his parents. His sister spent her time in the hospital due to her serious condition, which led him to attempt to make things for her. He was a creative kid, able to make small stuffed teddy bears, though he was always called out on it despite his sister liking them. He was always told to stop because it was girly, and that he was meant to be tough like a man. It annoyed him, but he never spoke on it, just stopped making stuff in public. Though throughout that time he began acting like someone he wasn’t, acting ‘tough’ and immediately resorting to hitting those that talked shit about him just so everyone could stop with the be manly stuff. He still made the bears privately though, and always showed them to his sister.

At age fifteen, Matthew was shipped off to Japan to live with his Aunt due to how many fights he always got into. It hit him hard that he wasn’t able to see his sister, or even talk to her….What hit harder was her death, a couple weeks after the move, it caused him to become quiet and more anti-social. He hardly talked in school, with people calling him weird, he had gotten into a few fights because of it. As he got older, the less people tried talking to him….Except one guy, a transfer student like him, Alex. Alex was his best friend, the only person who really saw well in him and what he could become. Of course, Matthew began growing feelings he didn’t know how to express….But he also knew people didn’t really except homosexuality, atleast from what he’d seen in America, so he tried pushing those feelings away. Being a decent looking guy, he somehow managed to get some from a couple girls….It was alright to him, but it just didn’t feel right to him. He lacked caring, and still didn’t know how to express it when Alex asked how it was.

A year later, age seventeen, Alex had moved back to America which caused Matthew to shut himself out again. Being confused of his sexuality, having no friends, no one to let things out to….And on top of that school work, Matthew couldn’t really handle it. It led to skipping school and a few more fights, he didn’t care much, but knew Alex would want better of him. He started getting his grades up more, but still skipped a few times, but got into less fights throughout that year and the next. Hardly made anymore friends though as he was labeled as that one thug who fought everyone.

Sakura is the daughter of a wealthy American business that moved to Japan for work and met her mother, a Japanese woman who worked in a cubicle a couple floors down from his office. They had Sakura shortly after marrying. Sakura never became close to her parents. They having been most often gone on business trips and the like. In her parents attempt for Sakura to never feel lonely they constantly enrolled her in extra curricular activities starting with gymnastics.

Through the years she fell out of gymnastics and went through several different activities and finally settled on kendo. Enjoying the competition of it all and how strong it made her feel. Having spent a young lifetime in physical activities she was naturally conditioned for the sport.
