"And you, Dahlia, have no management over your anger. You have large outbursts and I do not feel an angry Narcissist as leader would lead to very good results." he said. "You say I have the attention span of a squirrel? Well, for one, I did not walk away from the debate, as you put it, Lauren motioned for us to come sit on the steps, and so I did, and then I merely sat on the steps and introduced myself to the other residents of the Academy. If you really were paying attention and have an enormous attention span, why have you not introduced yourself? Look around, all the others are doing introductions, and you're merely standing around ranting in severe egotism."

Ali was going to respond to Lauren's question but then people started walking over and she felt her cheeks grow warm from being around all the people. It's like being at school all over again. She glanced at Lauren, except she's actually being talked to like an equal. As everyone was talking she turned to Lauren and spoke to her quietly in order to answer her question.

Finally.

"Um, I usually draw with colored pencils. Charcoal but only sometimes. And I paint a little. Though, in all I prefer colored pencils." She said softly with a small smile. She enjoyed art a lot and she felt more comfortable talking about it.

"What about you? What do you use?" She asked Lauren with a slight tilt of her head.

Anastasia coughed as the urge to bark a laugh started to rise up her throat to see what was being unfurled in front of her. It was quite grand what Dahlia had been able to accomplish and the arguments of Sebastian seemed okay. "So, Sebastian, your proposition sounds pretty interesting. Though I have a question, how exactly are you going to accomplish all of that?" She asked and then glanced over at Flint "Nice stick you got there" Anastasia said dryly.

Lauren smiled, "I love paints, but I haven't quite figured out how to use them yet. I usually use just pencil and colored pencils. Sorry it's a bit crowded," She said apologetically then turned to the others. "Well, have you finished your debate, because I don't know about you guys, but I'm hungry and those doors," She said, jabbing her thumb behind her to the Academy, "Don't unlock until I've given each faction leader their tablet and instructions."

"The security would be tight due to the fact that any and all students caught breaking a single rule, such as trying to escape, possibly a curfew, but I would have to know ahead of time, etc, would be punished severely. No other student would be wanting to to break any of the rules, as they will be shown what happens when you do." he said. "I would appoint only the best and most trusted students to do anything involving security, and they would be rewarded based on their performance." he paused. "Only the smartest would be teachers, including myself, and any student falling behind in any way on their studies would immediately be appointed a tutor of sorts." he said to Anastasia.

"St..stick!" Flint stuttered looking sternly to Anastasia. "This is a Japanese training sword, a Bokken! A handcrafted wooden blade used to train but can also hit harder than a baseball bat when used effectively". Flint removed the Bokken from its sheath
"Maybe I should show you how it can break bones." Flint threatened looking angrily towards Anastasia.
Flint didn't really care who was the leader, as long as he was able to keep the peace and order.

Lauren stood up and went between Flint and Anastasia, "Cool it, there won't be any breaking of bones unless you want detention. And trust me, once the Admins put you in detention, you're not coming back..." Lauren said darkly. "The Admins keep us under lock and key, all doors lock at 10 pm every night, everyone outside the dorms gets a warning. It's all in here." She said and tapped the pamphlet. "Lesson number one, don't mess with the Admins, they don't like it."

"What specifically is so special about detention that makes us not be able to ever come out again?" he asked, then he stood up. "I declare it is time to vote. If you choose me, stand by me. If you choose Dahlia, stand by her."

"Cerfew? Severe punishments? Jeeze, why does this have to be so uptight? It's a school not a prison, there is a fine line between keeping order and being plain awful. However it is not my place to be involved." Gwen reprimanded herself, she had a simple goal; find out what was so fishy about this place and end it. The people here and how they were treated was not her problem. She walked over to Laruen and introduced herself, "Hello, my name is Gwen and I'd like to personally apologize for some of my faction members, life will not be easy with them around." She smiled sadly, they would be simpler to get out of the way now but she didn't have time for that. Their nonsense would have to go unchecked for a while.

Jack jumped off the bus, arms wide as if embracing the sky. "Couldn't have asked for a better day to get trapped in a school, huh?" He laughed to one in particular. He leisurely made his way over to Laruen, "Hello! I am Jack, wonderful to meet me isn't it." He laughed, "I'm kidding, I think I'm going to choose halcyon!" He smiled brightly despite having no clue what his faction did or who was in it, he didn't seem to think it mattered.

Lauren smiled slightly, "It's fine. And I hope you're wrong." She said with a sigh, "We all need to work together if..." then she trailed off, as if she wanted to say more, but decided against it. She quickly turned to the new arrival before Gwen could ask her anything and smiled, "It is a wonderful pleasure to meet you Jack, I'm Lauren" she laughed, "Welcome to Halcyon, then." She grinned, "We're just waiting for them to finish their debate," Lauren pointed to the Savant, "And for them to get organized." She pointed to the Sedition. "Once they've finished their squabbling we can get inside and eat."

Edward saw the girls talking about drawings. Which was one of the things that interested him alot. He wanted to speak with them but decided to give it a rest letting them speak with themseleves. He sighed fixing up his hair a little and crossed his arms closed to his chest staring at the others while they chat. Edward wasn't good at making conversations, unless they talk to him first. But starting it, not so much. He saw a guy going on by the name of Jack, he smiled nodding at him, in a friendly way as he would now decide to introduce himself. It was nice having a guy around. "Sup, Im Edward."

Jack spotted Edward's nod, "Hey, I'm Jack." He waved and smiled at Edward. Jack was actually extremely happy to have some one talk to him first and not the other way around, apparently he could be over enthusiastic, which in his opinion was a load of bull. "If the other two factions ever stop bitching we should hang out. Seems like Halcyon is pretty cool headed compared to the other factions, guess I picked the right group." He grinned and began to skim over the information given to him.

"That seems like a simple plan Sebastian, but see here, Dahlia has fear and force in her side which make people start to do things. You've got brains, that's good. But I think people are more worried about being hurt more than anything" Anastasia said and shrugged her shoulders "That's why my vote goes for Dahlia" She then narrowed her eyes at Flint "A stick is still a stick, even when they have fancy names. And are you threatening me?" Anastasia took a step towards Flint, her accent becoming harsher "You ebl-"

Anastasia was then cut off when Lauren stepping between Flint and her. Lauren warned them and Anastasia began to skim the pamphlet and the school rules. Sebastian then stood up and declared that it was time to vote. She smirked as she walked and stood beside Dahlia. This school year will certainly be interesting at the least she thought to herself.

Katherin searched through all the bodies looking for her leader. She wasnt sure what she thought of this new school. She planned to make the best of it. "Can anyone point me in the direction of the leader for the savant leader?" She was sure that the group had chosen a leader. She was sure the leader had been choosen for a reason. She was willing to give that leader a chance to prove themselves.

Liz stood shyly on the sidelines.she was perfectly happy watching. But she knew she couldn't watch forever. Eventually she would have to introduce herself to the leader of her group. She was pretty sure she knew which one was the leader of the Halcoyon group, but to be sure she softly asked. "Who is in charge of the Hslcoyon group.?"

"Sedition? That's doesn't seem that a very good name for a group of troublemakers." Roxy tossed her flier into the trash. She didn't care about being part of a group. She had no desire to belong. If they wanted her they were going to have to prove themselves worth of her attentions. "So who is the supposed leader of this group of want to bes?

Lauren smiled at Liz, "I'm the leader of Halcyon, my name's Lauren. This is Ali, Jack, Edward, and Rachel." She pointed to each in turn, "What's your name?"

"My name is Elizabeth St. James." Liz replied softly. But you can call me Liz. Almost everyone does." Liz proud that she had found the courage to speak to them out loud. But she couldn't bring herself to look any of them in the eye.

"The leader of the Savant has not yet been decided." he said to the girl. "We are still in the process of voting."

"I will wait then." Katherin replied.

Flint placed his bokken away.
"A stick is a branch from a tree.. with your logic a wooden bench would be a stick to you." Flint explained
"Although at least you know what a leader looks like.." He said noting the fact she chose to vote for Dahlia. He looked over the rest of the group, Waiting for them to vote.
"You have to vote" Flint replied to Katherine.

"That was not in the brochure." Katherin told him crossing her arms. She had read all the paperwork carefully. She was a strong believer in rules. As long as she understood them she would follow them. She had never been good with unwritten rules. She would only follow and enforce the rules that she had seen in the paperwork she had signed. There hadnt been anything about voting for a leader. The leader should have been decided before everyone arrived.
