I'm also interested in what level it will be at, I'd prefer casual over anything else considering it stops people from posting crappy little one liners and stuff like that. Also will there be a post order? I may have to drop out if there isn't as I may be overtaken by quite a lot of posts during the night.

I can't type several paragraphs if it's all inner monologue, or being extremely detailed about the environment. But I can if it's about actual events and interactions taking place.

Medium Casual is about the level of writing I'd expect from players. I'll probably be writing much longer, more detailed, and more drawn out responses, but that's what I consider to be my responsibility as GM. Nallore will be assisting me in writing for the number of NPCs that will exists, as well as helping me cover players who are unresponsive, or away for a period of time. We'll do the best we can to portray player characters as faithfully as possible.

As far as Covenant Characters, this is really an RP focused on ODSTs, and humanity's side of the conflict. There may be opportunities down the line for you to have an alternate character that is a member of the Covenant, though they would play a minor role at best. For now, consider your primary characters to be members of the ODST Fireteam being sent to Omega Titanius.

I'm just about to head into work. I'll be back home tonight around 11PM EST, and will be posting the OOC thread with all of the information you'll need to create your characters.

I'm pretty sure Lost Cause means the post order part. Which I admit i missed earlier and would cause issues.
People have real lives and can't afford to constantly post in a set order. The only way I can see everyone making it is if the wait between posts was fairly significant, in which case the RP would go so slow you'd just have people lose interest outright.

I have a query. Will our weapons, as ODSTs, be limited to the M7 and the M6C/SOCOM for the start of the RP (Like in the game) or is there a chance to choose our Loadouts/Choose Custom weapons? I.E. A Silenced Battle Rifle/DMR.

You will have access to all human weapons in the RP, and you can add attachments like silencers.

There is no required post order, no. The only thing you need to be aware of is that in the event that you haven't replied IC in a while, either myself, or Nallore will dictate what your character does, just to keep said character in the action and involved for when you return. Our dictations will be minor, without having and major lasting impact in your character, and will be done the best of our abilities. A good example would be if the Fireteam were moving into a location, and everyone but your character had been posted for; myself or Nallore would simply make a little note in one of our posts that your character followed suit. This is so that if you're busy, or if you're away, you don't need your character to miss out on things, and when you come back, you'll be able to just hop right back into control.

And yes, all weapons of the Halo Universe that were in use up the the year 2550, will be available to your characters. However, your characters will be limited to the number of weapons your character can carry, just as in the Halo Games. Generally One primary weapon, and one secondary.

Alright... well, I experienced a few issues when I went to put up the OOC, the HTML coding I had been using was out of date for the new forums. I've been working on updating it, but it's taking a while to go through and re-write the coding. I've posted a portion of the OOC thread up for people to start checking out, and I'll hopefully finish it later on tonight after I get back from work. As for now, It's 5:15AM, and I have to be at work in five hours, so I'm gonna call it a night, and catch some sleep. Sorry for the delay, but trust me when I say that I'm working as hard as as fast as I can.
