I personally do not wish to GM as I can do so on Pen and Paper RP's but not Play-by-post. I will however carry on if everyone else will carry on.

ALSO. BAZZYBOSS NOW WOULD BE THE TIME TO CREATE A CHARACTER IF YOU ARE STILL READING.

I could possibly take over as GM if I have to, though I don't know what Eisen had in mind with this artifact thing of his. I'd rather someone else did it, but if nobody's willing to step up I can take it on.

Yeah, working on a character right now.

Name: Gregor Baudet

Gender: Male

Age: 40

Appearance: (Less wrinkles though)

Equipment: Bolt Pistol, Chainsword

Personality: Gregor is not a very forgiving person, he will not accept incompetence, and angers very quickly, this lead to many executions and severe punishments to the troops he is assigned to. He is very serious, and rarely jokes. Gregor is very impatient. Gregor is desperate to help the Imperium, and thinks he must achieve perfection in all his troops for that to happen.

History: Gregor was assigned to a planet near the border with Chaos System, he was assigned to keep morale up so that the men could effectively win the battles between the two systems, one day when inspecting the barracks, he heard rumors about a few men in the regiment, always winning in gambling, and predicting the future, he began to investigate the claims, after vigorous searches, and work, he found proof of their powers, and had them, and the people that associated with them shot, all in all, he shot 15 troops, 4 of them were warp-touched. Later, he found out that one of the men were related to the Regiment Commander, and he attempted to have Gregor assassinated for it, the attempt failed, and Gregor realized the danger he was in, he couldn't get out of the planet, because the commander had friends in high places all over the planet. After a few days, an inquisitor approached him, and offered him a deal, to help the inquisition, or stay here and die. They had heard of the incident, and his skills of tracking down possible psykers. Gregor, with no other choice, accepted, he was placed in the retinue of Lord Xersus.

Position in the Retinue: Psyker/Warp-touched hunting

(This is my possible character, if there are any faults, please point them out, I am new to roleplaying. If Eisenhorn comes back or something, it can just be forgot about, but if you want to add him in, alright, And yes, Commissar Holt.)

No problems with continuing on my part. I've had some experience GMing this type of Roleplay before, but I mostly handled antagonists and as such am uncertain where this Roleplay could be headed.

I think Grothnor had some spoilers about the story, didn't he?

Edit: On a side note, I'm starting another 40k role play. It will be set up in such a way that there would be multiple racial factions for players to choose from, all interacting in one star system. Eldar, SM, Chaos, Dark Eldar, Tau, Imp Guard, etc. Each racial faction would have it's own thread, and it's own GM, who would be a character such as a Farseer, Lord General, Warboss, Force Commander, etc. Each group would roleplay semi-independently, but we'd have one extra thread devoted to overlapping interactions, such as one faction's characters fighting the other fr control of a planet, or roleplaying a truce agreement or something. Everyone in this thread is invited. I'll be making the interest check soon, so throw me a message if you're interested. So far we have the GM's for Chaos, Tau, and the Imperial Guard down, and I'll be going Eldar.

Eisenhorn said
Alright, while nothing about the Inquisitor Lord has come through, you can see glimpses of an object of old, extreme power, although the details are lost upon you. You can also sense hints of regret and something else, a mixture of perhaps fear and loathing, and a long path of hardships leading up to this point, although it is all in a multi colored haze, obscuring many details that could otherwise be gleaned from such a vision.

That's all I got and I pretty much posted it all in the IC, so I got nuthin.'

Sounds interesting, I'll take a look, and probably join as a sort of Guardsman or something, good luck.

Chaos! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! (I'm the Chaos GM, by the way, for anyone reading this who's interested.)

I've always wondered what a Khornate Sorcerer could do... ripping the blood out of people's bodies, detonating their heads, psychic missiles in the shape of flaming skulls, boiling people's blood inside them, weapons made out of blood... the possibilities are just so awesome. Why does Khorne have to hate psykers?!

If I recall correctly, Khorne doesn't hate pskyers. What he hates are sorcerers, the difference being that psykers use their mind to kill things, while sorcerers use runes and words of power to kill things.

Khorn doesn't hate psykers and sorcerers, he hates their preferred method of combat. Where a psyker will think you to death with mind-bullets, lightning, telekiesis, etc, Khorne would prefer they stop thinking and rip the bloody guy in half with his hands/weapons. And then he tolerates psykers who worship him (see Gaunt's Ghosts book Blood Pact, featuring a psyker member of the Blood Pact, who all worship Khorne).

Also, Hi, I'll be your Imperial GM. Imperator Protegit.

So what I understand is that this thread is now firmly under new management or have I got that wrong and we are now migrating to another?

The latter case, and it'll be an entirely new thread.
