I don't like playing Canon, but I'm happy enough to see another do so. I couldn't do them justice but I've seen some good approximations in my 4 years here. (and in the old guild) So it can be done and I've faith in Metronome :P

The characters don't have to be related to a cannon character either.

Yeah, I don't know about this group - I have seen canons done justice (when people actually know stuff about the canon - and I don't mind little deviations since every time a comic gets a new writer, there is a twist to it anyways) but I have seen complete catastrophes. Makes me wary.

But if the character doesn't need to be related to canon - I can definitely work with that.

It's funny enough, because I feel the same the way.

I don't like playing canon, don't usually like other people playing canon.

But there are very few characters that I've liked enough to feel comfortable playing. I really love the Winter Soldier story, so I can only hope I'll do it right =P

I like playing cannon but also love making originals.

P.S. I made a mentor just so Bucky doesn't have to go about this alone. LoL.

What's this camp look like anyways? Is it like a bootcamp?

Or is it like a summer camp?

Is it like one of those church camps where you stay inside most of the time and only go outside to have water balloon fights?

I can't imagine it being a church camp somehow. With it being SHIELD I can imagine a boot camp under the guise of a summer camp though :P

It looks like a regular summer camp, cabins, mess hall, obstacle course, lake etc..But behind closed doors it's like a training camp.

Personality: He’s very sarcastic and uses it as a kind of defense mechanism because he’s not a very confrontational person. He’s stubborn and won’t ask for help or apologize if he thinks he’s done nothing wrong. He’s a cynic at heart and generally expects the worst out of every situation. He’s quite a gossip and pretty self-centered. But on the inside, he’s a loyal friend and, if the stars align, he can be kind of nice. He’ll flirt with anybody, but often subconsciously. And he has sticky fingers. He'll often "borrow" something and "forget" to return it.

Abilities:
He has excellent balance, agility, speed and flexibility.
He has an enhanced sense of smell, hearing and night vision.
He can jump much higher than the average person. About ten to twelve feet if he’s got a running start.
He has retractable sharpened teeth and claws.

Appearance: Avery has very defined muscles, but a slim build. He has an olive complexion, fair height (5’11”) and no scars to speak of. He’s very flexible and built for agility. He has light, caramel-brown eyes and closely-cropped dark brown hair. He has expensive taste in clothes, but nothing gaudy or excessive.

History: Quinn was born into a well-to-do family and had the luxury of being the only child, though his parents weren’t around very much to raise him, so they sent him to boarding school his whole life. He did gymnastics ever since he was a kid. One summer, he went to the beach and went swimming. Little did he or the other swimmers know, the water had been contaminated by a nearby power plant illegally dumping the radioactive waste into it. He was hospitalized for a while, but he came out feeling better than ever.

In junior high, he became one of the most popular kids at school, but about halfway through eighth grade, a rumor got out that he was gay and he got into a scrap with one of the jocks that lead to the discovery of his more cat-like abilities. He was kicked out of gymnastics for unfair advantage. His thirst for revenge was strong, but they moved instead and his parents sent him to a different school where he promised to lay low while in the summer, he goes to ATC.

Other: He’s gay, but he never says it out loud. It’s implied. Some people don’t even know.
