Hiro an company hop on the magic bus

Hiro wondered why everyone seemed so angry when all it was going to do was make cooperation more difficult. Having survived several Typhoon on the Isle of Kume she knew that in any disaster that it was a cool head that made it to safety.
Her plan of actually using the stairs rather than risk a 4 story drop now rendered moot she headed for the rope.
She stopped a moment an thought it over and then tucked the mop handle through her belt at the small of her back, she had grown used to having a weapon and didn't know how quickly she could replace it when the time came
Gripping the rope tightly she slid quickly down to the bus roof heating up her palms a bit without breaking the skin. Working on her grandparent's farm had toughened her up enough to take it.
Once on the bus roof she headed for the escape hatch and checked her landing then dropped inside after freeing her bo staff.
Looking around she saw the zombies pressed like grade schoolers to a candy store window looking in as they scraped and scratched the surface.
She would have worried they might break the glass if she hadn't seen a news special on how to rescue someone from a car which showed how difficult auto glass was to break.
Hiro made her way quickly up to the front of the bus an saw the broken door glass an gore.
"Well here's a weak point when we get going" she thought as she took a seat near by so that she could watch the door even though presently the school blocked it as an entry.

Yami crouched on top of the bus, his combat knife gripped tightly in his hands. Everything was happening quickly, and that's exactly how he liked it. The rope he had discovered earlier was still hanging from the top of the ceiling, trailing directly onto the bus's ceiling as each of his class mates swung down and scrambled inside of the bus. "We need to get going..." He muttered, standing up and rolling his shoulders. Zombies punched, clawed and scratched the windows and sides of the bus, quickly forcing the original golden sheen to turn a sick red.

His eyes were forced downwards as he watched a boy fight zombies from the ground, wielding some sort of makeshift spear. Yami growled, nearly making his knuckles pop out of place as his fingernails dug into the leather fabric of his MMA gloves. Why in the world was the boy fighting a god damn zombie horde, when he could simply get into the bus and be protected there? While he normally wouldn't give a shit about others, Yami felt that this was some stupid act of heroism, and so he decided to act on his gut instinct.

"Yo, idiot! Get your ass on the damn bus!" He yelled down from the bus's roof, a vein pulsing on his forehead. A zombie had managed to crawl half-way up the bus's read entrance, and Yami slid across the slick metal, his boot making firm contact against the undead's head, cracking open the skull and forcing it to make its brutal descent back onto the ground.

Angelo simply grinned and he jumped into the bus closing it behind him "and 10,000 points!" He called out laughing as he sat down in a seat to finally relax "so let's go!" He yelled to our apparent driver as he went over to our team surgeon not wanting to be far from his fellow med student

Seeing that the bus had finally arrived at the base of the school just beneath the rope, Howlite saw the opportunity of escape just a slide down. He watched as the remaining students begin to file one by one down the rope, until only Howlite, Ren, and Sakura were the only ones on the roof.

"Go," Howlite spoke up as sounds of undead hands slamming against the door to the roof started, knowing that it wouldn't hold too long.

Ren, hearing and seeing the same, stood up. "You're coming too, right?"

"Of course I am," Howlite replied. "But with that arm of yours, you're going to need some time getting down, so you go first."

"What about you two?"

Howlite blinked, tensing himself. "You're going to need some time, so we'll hold them off for a little bit before we get overwhelmed."

"Are you crazy? With a protr-"

"Shut up! You could've already been halfway down the rope! Just go!" Howlite shouted, the hinges of the door beginning to give in from the combined strength of the zombies hitting the door. With his eyes completely fixated on the entrance, he did not turn back as he heard reluctant feet shuffle towards the rope, sighing in relief. When his friend went over the edge, Howlite breathed deeply as the hinges finally broke, and the undead tripped over their own as they flocked straight through.

Howlite nodded towards Sakura and decked the first zombie coming towards him, taking a short hop back before lunging his fist towards another, causing it to fall back and knocking over a number of the zombies in the incoming horde that were on the roof like bowling pins. Though, in mere seconds, the horde only grew more in numbers as the danger of being overwhelmed grew, to the point where they were faced with nearly a dozen walking corpses.

Throwing punch after punch, Howlite was able to land one final haymaker before the protractor shattered and his knuckles bled from the glass. "Damn it!" he winced, his voice full of fear as the two of them found themselves backing away from the advancing crowd. "Go down the rope! I'll continue fending them off!"

But the next thing that Howlite saw was haunting. The girl turned to him with a smile on her face, despite the odds, and uttered a goodbye as she plunged herself into the horde. "What-" he could only extend a hand as the shrieks of the girl filled the air and the zombies, tearing away at their food, feasted on her. She sacrificed herself. Knowing that standing there in thought for another moment longer would get him killed, he turned and quickly wrapped his sweaty hands along the rope, sliding down as a few of the undead from above threw themselves off of the building and down to the bus.

"Good, he made it," Howlite said to himself as he saw Ren glaring upwards from through the hatch, seeing the other boy-- Mat, was it?-- standing atop of the bus alongside Yami. As he slid down, he saw one of the zombies from the roof catch Mat off guard and, landing directly onto him, knocking him off of the bus' roof and into the mass surrounding the bus. He winced at the sight, but at the back of his mind, he thought of only his own safety. Howlite's feet nearly slipped as he landed on the roof of the bus, quickly turning to Yami before heading down. "That's all of us, I'm gonna close the hatch!"

And with that, Howlite jumped down into the inside, reaching up and pulling down the hatch. He breathed heavily, unsure if his heart was about to rip straight through his chest as he ran up to the driver's seat. "Drive!"

Sinopa walked down the bus's isle. She was carrying her bag with her. She looked out the window. Oh my god, that is a lot of zombies. She saw Angelo hop on the bus. Good, her fellow med student was alive. Sinopa dug through her bag and grabbed some of the butcher knives from the bottom.
"If anyone need a weopon, I have some knives," she said, holding out the knives.

They're getting really close...really, really, close... Nakamura couldn't stop his leg from shaking this time. In fact, his whole body was shaking from head to toe. The driver's seat window was a front row ticket for the zombies devouring Mat, an old friend of Nakamura's who held his arms up in the air in a feeble attempt to fight his way up. A lurking zombie took Mat's wrist and promptly tore it from his elbow, euthanizing any chance he had of crawling out of there. Nakamura turned his head from the horrid sight and took a deep breath. "I think that's gonna haunt me for some time, he muttered to himself as his leg began shaking almost uncontrollably.

Drive!

It was Howlite who screeched in Nakamura's ear, suddenly jerking him from his traumatized trance and motivating him to shift the gear into drive.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking asking you to buckle up and get ready, 'cuz it's about to get a little turbulent," Nakamura knew that now was not the best time to be making jokes, but it was the only thing he could do to calm his nervousness. Taking one last breath, Nakamura slammed his foot on the gas. "Punch it, Chewy!"

The bus took off, slamming through the gates of the school's parking lot entrance. Nakamura made a screeching turn down the intersection, which was scattered with zombies. From the rear-view mirror, he saw that Fujimi was slowly getting tinier and tinier, the horde of zombies turning into tiny ants. "Okay, now that we're out of that jam, what do you suppose we do Yami?" Nakamura called out to his friend.

we still live!" Angelo called out laughing smiling wide, finally they were out of that place and he along with his medical fellow med student have a group to rely on as well. Which reminded him as he went through his pockets to check all the painkillers and meds he took and he breathed a sigh of relief knowing that everything was still intact in their bottles. "hey sinopa we still got everything, my stuff is still good" Angelo said smiling at her, although Angelo was smiling and laughing- like everyone else he was scared out of his freaking mind once he realized they were safe. Angelo just pretended it was a zombie game cause otherwise he would be dead like everyone else trying to fight when his heart wasn't into it, and in a game he was excited and was the king so he just tried to think of it that way. whatever helps to get the job done as they say...

Yami barely had a second to scramble for a grip before the bus suddenly lurched around, blasting for the school gates at a spectacular speed. The teen growled, pressing his body close against the bus's roof. The wind slammed against his face, and henceforth his long brown Mohawk, forcing the hair backwards. "A warning would be nice." He snarled down into the sleek white metal, standing on shaky legs and stomping the bus. By now, the speed had balanced itself out, allowing him to look around the surrounding area with relative easiness. One might think he was crazy, standing on top of a speeding charter bus....but it was for science!

Casually walking towards the front of the bus, his boots clinging to the shiny surface due to the sticky, drying blood, Yami nimbly slipped from his position on the bus, heading towards the blurring ground. However, his gloved right hand shot up at the last second, hanging onto the railing that circulated the top of the bus. He settled into a comfortable position, dangling on the side of the speeding bus.

"Head to the city, obviously, and try to find some sort of convenient store. Gas and food, yeah?" He grinned into the driver's window, before looking back towards the road. It stretched emptily for another mile, but in the distance you could see the large, smoking, and ruined city. It was horrible...but his grin didn't change. 'What are we gonna find here, I wonder?'

Hiro an Friends bust out

Finally the bus was in motion and Nakamura was asking a cogent question
"Okay, now that we're out of that jam, what do you suppose we do Yami?"

"Secure Food, Water and Clothing is the first thing you do in any disaster"
says Hiro with a sigh as she begins thinking of all the places near by that you could acquire such things.

"After that I'd suggest we top off the fuel tank of this guzzler and then hit a Outdoors store for Water filters, dried foods and whatever else strikes our fancy adds Hiro in a slightly softer tone of voice

She was sure her suggestion was going to be thrown out because for reasons she couldn't fathom the two boys who'd seized leadership seemed to dislike her and she didn't even know them.
"The world's a queer place" she thought as she tried to find a solution to integrating herself in a more acceptable manner in the group.
Hiro was used to people taking her wrongly in school but she'd hoped that in a disaster that foible would have disappeared.

Itoe glanced at Jake, he looked as pale as a ghost, which was normal for a student who was experiencing the apocalypse. She moved to the back of the bus and sat down beside him, "Hey buddy~~~," The girl cooed as she elbowed him lightly in his side. "How are you feeling? You look pale and scared." So far, he was the only person that managed to have a decent conversation with, other than Hiro. The others on the bus either disliked her to a certain degree or have no idea who she is.
She leaned back in her seat. "Jesus... I'm already growing hungry..." The girl mumbled. Her eyes surveyed the destruction that happened outside of the bus, it appeared as though the town was already in ruin. There were stacks of smoke rolling off of houses and buildings and helicopters that flew by, none appeared to be helping those who were grounded. "We can't go into the city like this... That's stupid and reckless. We might as well kill ourselves."

Nakamura was puzzled by Yami's suggestion. Heading to the city with limited provisions? That seemed a little risky for obvious reasons...

"I think your heart's in the right place Yami, I mean, I'm sure the bulk of the action's in the city," Nakamura called to the troublemaker making himself comfortable on the roof. "And I know you're just itching for another fight. But the girl's right, we need to prioritize. We should make a few local stops to gather what we need before we run some sort of suicide mission into the city." Nakamura could tell Yami wouldn't take kindly to that answer, but the girl was right, the group had to gather supplies then make it's break.

Nakamura shot a glance at the girl before returning his eyes on the Zombie ridden streets. "Nice thinking. Y'know, with a loose cannon like Yami calling the shots, we're gonna need all the quick thinkers we can get," Nakamura told the girl."And sorry, I suppose, for that 'Lady of the night' comment. I think we were all in a hurried frame of mind on that roof, and I guess we all let a few things slip. I guess even with these circumstances, all we can try to do is put Fujimi behind us and try to work together. Name's Nakamura, by the way," Nakamura gave a quick wave to the mirror, hoping that the folks on board could actually see.

Suddenly, Nakamura's mind turned to more personal issues. With all of the death and chaos surrounding everyone in the world, he wondered if his parents had made it out okay. His mother, whom he lived with, lived not very far from Fujimi, but his father was much farther away, living in an apartment deep into the city. It had appeared that the zombies had made their way much further than realized and that the infection was spreading rapidly, and the hopes of Nakamura, or anyone else on the bus for that matter, finding their parents seemed almost non-existent. His hands and knees continuing to tremble, Nakamura turned another corner and headed down the street towards a shopping center.

"Howlite Maeda," The blond, finally taking a seat and able to rest his heart, said his name following Nakamura's introduction. He looked back to Ren, who was still firmly grasping his bleeding arm, seeing his friend stare out of the window with empty eyes as they passed through the streets of undead. In a matter of under an hour, everything had changed from a normal day at school to some infection pushing the brink of humanity into extinction. It was all still too much to absorb, and now that he was safe for the time being, this was the time where he could recollect his thoughts and breathe.

Howlite thought of his father, the head of a private security company, he was certain that his father was safe out there. Then there was his mother, the Chemistry professor at one of Japan's top universities that he had planned on attending in the near future; had the infection spread there as well? Finally, the thought of his older brother came to him; he had recently gotten a job under their father, so that had to mean that the two of them were okay. Still, Howlite worried about his family, but as of now, he had to focus mainly on surviving and looking after his friend.

When Howlite saw a boy in one of the seats dig into his pockets and begin laughing as if nothing had happened, his ears caught the sound of pills shaking in a bottle. Was it medicine? "Hey, you," he rose from his seat, walking down the aisle and hovering over the boy with the bottles in his pockets. "My friend down there is hurt and is losing blood. If you've got painkillers or bandages, or both, hand them over right now. He needs treatment."

" I've still got all of my stuff," Sinopa responded. That was good, that meant they hadn't lost any medicine. Sinopa heard Howlite's demand. She walked over. " how serious is the wound?" she asked. She new that Angelo had some basic things, but if the wound was serious it might need to be stitched up, and she had the tools for that.

Jake just looked at Itoe, he barelly said a word... It wasn't the appocalypse he was scared of... It was the group... He wasn't used to be with so many people at the same time... Let atleast say that he has to spend almost the rest of his life with them!
"I... I am fine... It's the humans around... That scare me...
As he looked at Itoe, he laughed a bit when she said she was hungry, Jake looked into his bag as he pulled out a lunch box "This... This was ment to be eaten as dinner...
As he gave the box to Itoe he looked back at the floor, he always cooked to much for if he was hungry, or if he planned to go to the library untill midnight... So he had two more lunch boxes in his bag as always. It was normal for Jake to do so....
He ussually cooked different kind of things, each lunch box was different and so were the flavours each time he cooked the same thing again, he loves to try each kind of flavour for it is quite interesting what happens with the food then, would it taste good or would it taste bad...
Untill now each of his cookings tasted good, and he was happy with it... But would Itoe like it to?...

Well my name is Angelo nice to meet you. Like you even need to tell me to help someone." He said smiling at the guy then he looked to his med student partner "we got our first patient. let's hope theirs no infection" he said to her as he got up waiting for their guy to lead them to the patient since he didn't know who they needed to take care of and they needed to examine their patient for how severe it was

"I will only eat half of this, but thank you, I appreciate your kindness." Itoe opened the lid of the lunch box and took a wiff; It smelled rather good, he or someone else must be a rather good cook. She made a line that went down the center of the lunch box and began eating in total silence, she would comment on how it tasted at the very end.
We're going to have to start rationing food, what I'm doing is rather selfish... Oh well. Once her half was finished she placed a hand over her mouth and glanced at Jake. "This is really good." She muttered, "There are a lot of textures but they all seem to get along well with one another." Itoe placed the lid back over the box and handed it to him. "Keep this safe and eat it when you're hungry, I don't want to waste good food. Ugh... We're going to scavenge for food when we get to our destination anyways. We also need to find a place to rest at for the night." The girl raised her voice at that last part for the others to hear.

Sinopa hurried over to whereAngelo was standing. There was someone who needed medical attention. Sinopa really hoped that the whatever wound it was, it wasn't infected. She did not want to have to deal with that.
" I'm here," She stated as she arrived next to Angelo.

Outskirts of Tokonosu City - Harrington Shopping Center

The shopping center, formerly a nice, relaxing place with a pond, garden, and benches, with a variety of different types of stores surrounding it, was now a simple shell of what it once was. The large pond overfilled with inky brown and crimson blood, torn bodies filling the murky liquid with their rotting flesh. Zombies of all shapes and sizes slowly dawdled around, some in 'mall cop' outfits, and others crawled on their amputated knees. Regardless, it was obvious to tell that this former-hotspot for both teens and adults like...was now an apocalyptic wasteland.

"I'm cool!"

The calm, laidback tone did well to hide his fear, and his mind suddenly blanked as the earlier events played throughout his head like a mixtape. 'Aiden was simply at home, watching Law and Order and drinking sprite when all of this...shit happened. The door to his home was knocked upon, and his mother went to answer it. A piercing scream echoed throughout the building. Then? The groaning began. His mother, and his father came stumbling into the living room, rotting green and brown flesh dripping from the multiple cavities now sludging amongst their mutilated bodies. Aiden was frozen in shock. His mother - former mother lunged forward, and instincts kicked in. He had leaped away, grabbing the nearest item closest to him; a vase, and bashing it over her bleeding head. The glass pierced her brain, and she fell, now permanently dead.

By then, he was in a survival-mindset. His quickly adapting brain took all of this chaos in, and instantly it all made sense. Some sort of virus, or infection...and they were now undead corpses...no longer the parents he once known and loved. As soon as this all registered, his father's corpse lunged as well, tackling the boy down with the force of a truck. He was winded amongst the groans and snarling, and blood dripped down from the undead's jowls, coating his pure white t-shirt. Fear choked at his throat, and Aiden brought his fist back, before sending it forward...once, twice, three times. The fourth punch forced the corpse off of his body, and, with a sense of finality, Aiden brought his foot upwards and back down on top of the zombie's cranium.'

That had been quite a few hours ago. Now, with nothing but his light-weight red backpack - now a mottled black from dried blood, his crimson hoodie, a sharpened machete he took from under his father's bed, the man's police-issued Glock 17, and his customary leather jacket...well, he had traveled from Tokonosu City and scavenged far and wide, ending up at the Shopping Center. Only for this situation...

Aiden slowly reached for his Glock, which was holstered on his hip, while watching the gangster looter shake with his stolen revolver in-hand. "I'm cool, man..." His hands gripped the gun's cold grip, and Aiden made a show of gasping and looking around. They were in a small Gamestop store that was North-ish of the main shopping center, and it smelt and looked like shit in there. The games were ruined, except for some My Little Pony DS crap and some Mario Kart DS games, and everything was ruined...except...

"Zombie behind you!"

"Where?!"

The gangster twirled around, his sagging pants making the movement virtually fatal, and Aiden smoothly unholstered his gun and pulled back the safetly. "Right here." Instantly after the crappy one-liner, the boy pressed the trigger twice, two high-caliber rounds tearing from the weapon and piercing straight through the back of the gangster's head. His gag reflex acted up, and Aiden turned away, mentally forcing himself not to puke.

He had killed too much to gag about one shitty human life.

With a sigh, the young boy dashed forward, quickly scavenging through the unknown gangster's pockets and grabbing the man's revolver, which he stuck inside his bag, and his wallet - which had only a few bucks in it. "This world is fucked..."

Jake blushed as she gave back the lunchbox wich was now half filled with food... She actually enjoyed his cooking... And she was the first one to truelly eat it...
"I... I cooked it myself..." he almost stuttered those words... For he wasn't used to get compliments about something he did, he was always used to being the best at school, so most of the other students hated him and the teachers barelly cared about it after a while, for they always knew Jake would get an A+ again.
"I... I ussually cook with plain items... So... With scavanged food... I can make g.. great meals" Jake stuttered again... He hated it, but was glad that he atleast could talk a bit with the others, for he was alone for quite a long time in this world...
A smile appeared on Jake's face as he looked at the group, this would be his new family, his new friends, and perhaps... even a lover that would be among them?...
As Jake tought about a lover, he quickly glanced at the floor again, this was the first time he truelly tought about that... He never needed anyone in his life, so why now? Because of this apocalypse?...
Jake would be beter of dead... That's what was going trough his mind right now, for Jake would be useless once it comes to killing them or even if it came to a small chat...

Nakamura focused on the road, mentally wincing at the visual images of zombies scouring the country-side. Cars were wrecked and totaled on the road, putting his meager bus-driving skills to the test as he carefully maneuvered and twisted his way through the chaos. The nearest Shopping Center - Harrington Shopping Center, to be more specific, was relatively close; only a few minutes away, and he was completely ready to get there.

Once the Shopping Center came into view - obvious because it was stationed at a dead end, and the parking lot was filled with ruined cars, zombies, bodies, and everything you can imagine, Nakamura turned around in his seat and gave his 'passengers' a thumbs up.

"We're pulling in at the Harrington Shopping Center. Try not to wander around by yourself." He pulled the breaks once they were stationed, messily, in the parking lot. The place was really gruesome and disgusting...but there was many sorts of shops and stores linked together around the 'relaxing Center' area, and this would be really beneficial to survival. He placed the gears in park, before standing.

"Okay, we shou-"

Approximately two muffled gunshots blasted from the Game Stop, pausing him mid-word. Shortly after, a tall, lean figure in a red hoodie and tattered jeans dashed from the store, a bag on his back and a machete gripped in his hands. The boy dashed into the candy store that was across from the Game Stop, and Nakamura raised an eyebrow, turning back to his fellow students.

"New plan. Try not to make too much noise. There's a guy already here."
