Sara groaned, she yawned and twirled in her bed. She was most likely late for school, but her mother and father were already out so she couldn't complain. She got up quickly, running to her parent's room. In a crib there laid a sleeping baby, no more than a year old. She sighed lightly, walking over to the cute baby girl and picking it up. This caused a ruckus, the baby; Stacey, started crying the second this task was done. “Shh, stop that…I need to get ready for school right now.” Sara held the baby expertly, grabbing her pink Binky on way out and sticking it in Stacey’s mouth.
They made their way to the kitchen, Stacey now seated in her high chair-still sucking the Binky calmly. Sara grabbed a banana, cut it up into small chunks and set it on Stacey’s plate. She then went to the fridge and brought out some eggs, butter, and spinach. She quickly made herself some scrambled eggs, all the while calling Sara’s babysitter.
“Hi, this is Marcy. Who is this?” The babysitter Marcy said with a calm voice, she sounded a little stressed though.
“Hey, this is Sara. You know, Mariah’s daughter?” Sara said, her voice rushed. She finished her food and ate it out of the pan.
“Oh! Hi Sara, I assume you’re calling me about Stacey? I’m heading over there right now, I just can’t find me keys. But I’ll get there soon, no need to worry.” Marcy insisted.
Sara sighed in relief, nodding, “Thanks Marcy, I think she is ready for bed again so I’m going to go lay her down. I need to get ready for school.”
Marcy chuckled. “Of course, enjoy your time. If I’m not there in fifteen minutes call me.”
Sara finished her food, looking at Stacey. The poor baby had fallen asleep in her bananas, Sara cleaned her up and put her down for a nap, then going to take a shower and get ready.
Sara was done, she had her perfume on, she had her duffel bag with her cheer-leading outfit and books and other stuff, and she had everything ready. Marcy had arrived earlier, which meant she was able to just walk out the door. That unfortunately didn’t happen, Marcy insisted on giving her a ride to school, which was nice, but she kind of wanted to enjoy a nice walk. So they traveled to school, Stacey bouncing the back seat.
They soon arrived, and Sara got out of the car, thanking Marcy and walking into the school. When she got inside her clique was there waiting for her. Sara greeted them with a smile, listening as they talked about random and silly subjects. She enjoyed spending time with them, and they were very close. She could list their names faster then she could most relatives; Rachael, Maki, Celia, Ada, and Keri. That was her group of friends anyway, the entire cheer squad was about fifty girls in total. They made their way over to the classroom, where they sat at their desks and chatted.
