[OOC] The Online world of Zion

It is the year 2035 and there is a new way to play video games. Each town has a building that if full of capsules that people can go into and enter this digital world called Zion that looks futuristic. Most of the students at Stevenson High School go to this one building after school to play with friends. A group of students play together a lot on line, but don't know who the other people are in real life. (Except if you want someone else to know, example a person who is a close friend). Characters can run into each other in the real world and not notice who they are. This RP can have drama, comedy, action, or something else; it depends on what you want. I would like to have a least some comedy in it so this doesn't become a depressed RP.
Avatar world has a main lobby where all the characters can interact. There are missions you can do missions that you create and can take any number of people on them. The missions can be from this list (hunting, capture the flag, race, attack/defend, or a different one that you can create)
The main thing I would like is that the characters will develop and have a little personality. The story will develop through the characters actions and interactions with other characters. In the game world swears are censored atomatically, so when you are in game, use *** to censor them. Interactions can happen in the Zion and out of the Zion. I would like interactions in the Zion to affect the real world as well. For example someone saying something in Zion that only they would say in the real world.
Avatars have infinite lives but can only be killed if Okayed by the creator of the character

He lost his leg in a car accident that he got in with a friend his friend died in the accident. after Alex and his family moved to a new town and want to start over. Uses a prosthetic leg a school to hide that he is handicap from the other students. Doesn't play sports or do very well in PE. He uses a wheelchair outside of school so that no one can recognize him. He spends his free time working on a special prosthetic leg that will work like a real leg. His father helps him with the project and Alex helps his father work on cars. He keeps to himself at school and avoids the spotlight.

Background: Grew up in a very typical & wealthy household. Able to easily afford all the latest games, systems, accessories etc. with ease. He invests almost full out in his hobbies and has a small group of friends he shares it with. However he isn't rich, just well off. He's always graduated with honor role grades without need of studying so his parents have never been on his back academic wise. Trent is usually a very social and outgoing individual, this get's amplified in the gaming world because he can be anyone he wants to be. But it get's crushed when at school, rather quickly due to his lack of interests in sports or most popular clubs he was labeled as a Geek/Nerd and therefore been the victim of a lot of bullying. He decided the best way to avoid it was to simply keep to himself and stay away from those who bully him, which generally works for him most of the time cause outside of his lack of interest in popular things he's done nothing to warrant negative attention, unlike otherwise who publicly parade their mass fascination in things such as Magic the Gathering or Computers.

He does however always keep his laptop on him and game's empty classrooms on his lunch break when he can, usually completely avoiding contact with most people other than his small group of friends who know to find him in one of the classrooms.

BackStory: Elizabeth's family was poor. She and her siblings never got large meals. They got what they could and they didn't complain. When Elizabeth was little she got very sick and her mother took her to the hospital. She was informed that Elizabeth had a weak body and that she would never be able to exercise much. Since then Elizabeth tried to help her family, she sold cookies to the neighbors, she mowed lawns for money. She did all kinds of things, but quite often Elizabeth would get sick. She would be confined to her bed, unble to leave. It was then that Elizabeth would read and learn instead of going to school. Her mother recently decided to let Elizabeth go on to Zion so she could experience what it's like to be able to excercise normally and have as much fun as she can.

Background: Kyo was unfortunate enough to end up as a hostage during a robbery when he was pretty young. Though he was eventually saved and the robber was arrested, his vocal cords were cut at some point during that time.

Aside from that, he lives a fairly ordinary life, though his parents are often busy and tend to get home late. He does very well in school, but doesn’t seem to spend a lot of time with other people outside of school.

Background:
Sara grew up normally, eight years after she was born she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. This fazed her family-she was fazed by it too, how could she not be? It scared her. Things were better for the next few years, until she was once again diagnosed with a condition. She now had diabetes, and she had to take insulin, needles everywhere. That had been the year her mother decided to have a baby, now that Sara was fifteen and her emotions were under control all would be ‘fine’. Her mother almost got an abortion after the news. And so, Sara’s life has been full of ups and down, she handles it but it is of course hard…she hopes for something better, and usually spends her time online where she can separate from the world.

Background
Her father died when she was seven years old and as a result, Tyler was raised by a drunk of a single mother and a conceited older brother. Although she felt sympathy for her mother, having to raise two teens on her own, she never showed much love for her mother, considering her abusive verbal tirades. These were definitely not exclusive to her, however, and when her older brother came out as gay, it only worsened the situation. As much as she tried to care for her brother, she never could, especially as he left home a year ago, leaving Tyler alone with her mother, who still continues to take out anger on her daughter. Music is Tyler's only escape (that is why you will always find her wearing headphones) -- and the other is Zion.
