hello to those reading this.
I used to be in a rp setting in some kind of scrapyard, there was supposed to be no law and everything was supposed to be dated.
sadly the rp died as one person (the GM at that time) started to god-mod, coming with high tech stuff, being a cop and forcing me to keep running (playing a high class assesin) while other players could not do anything but watch
it was truly a sad turn of events....
Now I want to give this setting a new chance, taking matters into my own hands, no more god-modding, less law and cops (and the ones that do appear are more corrupt and all, fitting more into the setting)
due to respect to the original creator, I will not steal his idea but use it's junkyard like setting and create my own
the setting is: a planet that used to be a beautifull world, filled with multiple races and high state buildings and tech.
but as time passed, the world started to decay into a more chaotic setting, what only become so much worse when the already collapsed city's became a junkyard for other races and planets to pill their crap on, turning the planet into a true junkyard for anything that others did not need or wanted anymore, including people.
the planet was become buried with junk and has grown double in its size, no one can even see the original planet/ ground anymore, some even say that at certain spots you can see the rooftops of old skyscrapers right below some junk.
law enforcement died out and what did remain turned brutal and corrupted to the core, often they failed, making them become more brutal as they stop caring about innocents if they try to capture a criminal.
the original population has nearly vanished and most living on the planet have been dumped there or crashed...
the rp currently is a free roaming world setting, perhaps with everyone's permission we might turn into a story eventually, but before that we get to act freely, build character and see how we can make connections between characters.
I will play with the same character I had that time, trough i will change his background story.
Everyone is welcome to join (and I truly meant everyone is welcome)
we will discuss where to place the rp, but I think the free forums is the best option
more idea's and options are all open for discussions, I am pretty open minded, so most things will be fine, but I do want to hear the idea's, just in the small case of it not fitting with the setting (and with that I generally mean the parts for before the rp, during we can just see how things go)
I hope to get at least 3 other people interested into joining, more are welcome of course
