What's her stance on undead creatures? Actually, what's the Church of Vexa's view on them in general?
They tend to view the undead with pity rather than scorn and necromancers as committing one of the worst crimes. They believe that when somebody passes away that they return to the arms of the Mother Goddess and that to rip a soul away from the Mother Goddess is akin to stealing a child from its mother's arms.
More so, the act of necromancy is to attach a departed soul onto a body that is no longer in the image of the Mother Goddess, part of why you might her Atalee call one an abomination or a monstrosity. According to the Church, people are created in the Mother Goddess's image, but after the soul has left the body, that body begins to decay and return to the earth. It is no longer meant to be home to a soul, and thus, attaching a soul to that body is to create something impure.
It's definitely pity rather than scorn. Any Templar would return an undead to the Mother Goddess, but there isn't a consensus on how the Church should handle intelligent undead. Although it views the undead as abominations, it also believes that people have an inherent right to determine their own destinies. At least in theory. Some Templars are a lot less tolerant of the undead, believing that it's for their own good that they return to the arms of the Mother Goddess.
As a rule of thumb, the Church believes crime to be against the common good rather than against the Church or even the Goddess Vexa. They believe that the crime is in the suffering imposed upon the victim rather than against, again, either the Church or the Goddess. In the act of necromancy, the crime would be against whomever was resurrected.
Atalee herself has never encountered an undead before, having only been travelling the surface world for about a year, but we can assume her stance is (mostly) similar to that of the Church.

Sweet. Looks like things are relatively ready to roll tomorrow, nice job everyone. I like our party's variety. Sand, I'll add him to the roster, just make sure you come back and finish preferably soon. And thanks, Mad Hatter, I could not remember for the life of me how to correctly do that. I do like Ampharos' idea of a PC Repository, and was prepared to both make a Repository and use Mad Hatter's list, but that felt redundant. If you guys wanna keep a log like I'm doing with the quests, feel free. It'd be cool to go back and read characters' actions from their sheets, I think- especially if it was journal-style or something.
I think a repository would be preferable, yeah. It'd also keep the first post a lot cleaner, but either option works.
