Concerning the little debate going between Guy and ActRaiser, I understand what Guy is getting at. Sure with having the ability over magic you will be able to imitate the elemental magics to a certain extent, but it's a whole 'nother subject when talking about ideas/ideals. Purity has no manifestation per say, so mimicking it in some aspect would be a bit difficult. The same could be said for trying to imitate my characters powers (lies, trickery, luck, chance), since they have no real manifestation and can be taken in a multitude of ways. The loophole I could see would be with my trickery aspect, being your character could possible make illusions or something of the sort.

Or I'm just completely confused and not adding anything at all to the conversation. That could be it too.

Appearance: Close to what he looks like
Personality: Very charming, seemingly happy go lucky guy, can be cold/calculating, chaotic neutral, very passive aggressive, and a bit of a clown at times.

Background: Bradley was just your typical corporate sleeze, clawing his way higher and higher in the firm he'd been recruited for after finishing college. He's always been his biggest fan, looking out for what's best for him and doing whatever it takes to ensure his ever growing success. Friends and family would say he needs to relax and enjoy life more, but he didn't care what they had to say. Though he didn't really have any friends, not counting the people he manipulated in the workplace to aid in his own personal ascension. Not that he didn't care about other people, as he does, especially those who are under him since without their help he wouldn't be where he was now. He respects those beneath him and despises those above, but if we got to the core of his person, we would find a man who sees both sides of the coin. It just so happens that he tends to lean more towards the side that benefits himself the most.

This is done for the most part, but I'll round out the edges when my brain isn't as cluttered. I feel he'll blossom more IC, so I don't want to throw to much into his CS.

Personality: Sociopathic, Manipulative, Cunning, Patient, Paranoid. Patient and highly intelligent, Damien will wait for the perfect moment to accomplish his goals.
Background: Gary Williams was a completely normal man-he had a wife, Allison, a son, and a house in a suburban neighborhood. He worked as a front-end web developer and came home from work to a happy family and a warm dinner. In his own view, Gary believed he was living a full life. His life was turned upside-down when he had accidentally discovered his wife cheating on him with another man. Gary had killed the philanderer in a fit of rage, leaving his wife paralyzed by fear. As soon as her husband left her sight, Gary's wife called the police, who sent officers to the house in a hurry. When the cops entered the home, all they found was a woman sobbing in a corner, seemingly broken by the atrocious crime her husband had just committed. Gary was nowhere to be found.

His wife, and the adultery she had committed. Damien became obsessed with his wife, mind clouding with anger every time she crossed his mind. He became preoccupied with finding a way to hurt his wife until he had conceived a plan that would break the former love of his life forever.

Allison was making pancakes when she heard a deep voice behind her. When she turned around, Allison saw herself looking at one of worst sights a mother could see. Gary was in her home, pushing a knife down her son's arm. She stood there, frozen, unable to do anything but bear witness to the horrible act. Allison stepped forward, trying in vain to save her son. Damien brought the knife to her son's neck in response.

"What do you want?!" Allison cried out.

Damien said nothing. Instead, he dug the weapon deeper and deeper into the boy's skin, slowly taking his life. Allison sobbed as she realized she could do nothing to help, that she was watching the sadistic end of one of the most precious things in her life. Still holding the dead body, Damien walked up to Allison and wrapped the corpse's arms around the trembling woman.

"I love you mommy," Damien said in a falsetto, attempting to give life to the cadaver. Laughing loudly, Damien left the house, congratulating himself on a job well done.

Personality:He is very open and honest about what he believes in because he believes that he is right and is not afraid if others believe differently. He will do all he can to help anyone, stranger or friend because he couldn't see himself standing by while others are suffering around him. He does have a good sense of humor and is a very honest individual.

My character's background: He grew up in a large city as the only child of two School Counselors. His family had always been very open with one another, especially his parents about their work. They had told him about many different kinds of people, who they had counseled, from teenagers in highschool who had problems at home or with stress with school subjects-to inmates of prisons who were up at night and afraid of what they would experience during the night. His parents were sure they had helped each person after their session-because they believed in their counsel.

Zane didn't understand why their was so many people who suffered from stress and making negative and harmful decisions. So at the age of fifteen during high school, he made it his mission to be an example to everyone, to be as a role model, as the most pure person possible. He started off with School and it didn't matter if he got bullied at school-he usually managed to shelve aside the angry thoughts after only a little practice and advised the bully of what appeared to be their insecurity and of the solution to remove that insecurity.

After a couple of years, he became the school president, having an easy majority vote in from his fellow students and managed to reduce harmful atmospheres from the school more successfully then it was ever done before.

He got quite a bunch of t.v. coverage from helping his school out with their bullying problem and it certainly helped him with being a young hero in his home city. He followed the media for the next ten or so years and looked there for stressful situations or some other issue that he didn't understand and called for the ones involved to come to him in order for him to resolve the situation. And he sometimes did manage to resolve it and in those cases the ones involved paid him a small fee and continued about their business.

Even now, he continues working as the "City's Hero".

I wouldn't call that a debate. A debate implies we have sides we're vouching for, and a level of investment that wasn't there.

Hopefully we won't have to get into an actual debate~
