Sora looked at the surrounding area. It was bleak, damp, and most importantly, black. The trees had no leaves, as if all of the life had been sucked out of them. "Well, this is depressing," he sighed. The Akita looked around for something to eat, when he suddenly heard the leaves on the darkened bushes behind him rustle violently. "Who's there?" Sora's body took on a sky blue/bluish-green hue as he prepared for a fight between either prey or a foe.

Azure froze when a voice called out. She had gotten lost and had been looking for her brother. She hadn't known anyone else had been there. She crouched low to the ground in her fox form, ears flattening against her head. She remained still, hoping that maybe whoever it was would eventually let it go and ignore the rustling sound she had accidentally made after she had stumbled into a hole and twisted her paw. Said paw was throbbing with pain but her fear over-road it.

Sora heard the yelp from the other side of the hedge and deactivated his aura. "Hello?" Sora rushed to the fox's side (I'm assuming Azure is a fox?), wondering what was wrong. "What happened?" (I though Azure yelped. Sorry for my mistake...)

(Yes, she is a fennec fox at the moment)

Azure yelped in surprise when Sora appeared, trying to stumble away only to yelp again when her left front paw twisted under her and she tumbled to the ground.

"Hold on," the Akita cired, "don't strain yourself!" Sora got up by Azure's side and started to push her up via headbutting. He then took her bad left arm and swung it over his head, forcing Azure to limp on two legs (her right paw is slightly off the ground due to Sora's help).

"T-thanks.." Azure winced at the pain as it seared through her body.

"No problem," Sora replied, dragging her underneath a once-living oak tree. "Just stay here."

The fox was worried for her acquaintance. "Where are you--" She was cut short as the Akita started glowing an odd blue-green color.

"Back in a flash!" The strange dog rocketed off into the forest at such an amazing velocity that it made a gust of wind rush into Azure's orange/red and white face.
(Sorry that I god-modded. I do that sometimes; hope you don't mind.)

(I don't mind this time but please ask me before you control my character)

Azure blinked as the dog flashed off before she sighed and shifted until she was comfortable on the ground, her wounded paw extended away from her. She wondered where her brother was and reached out her mind for him but it seemed he was too far away.

Azure blinked, looked at the raven the back up at the male. Was this supposed to make her foot heal? She suddenly heard rustling in the bushes and a tiger burst into the clearing. Alec raced over to his sister. "Are you ok? What happened?" He asked frantically as he began nosing down the length of her body searching for injuries.

Sora just stared blankly at the tiger and fox. "What's going on here?" The Akita walked over to the tiger named Alec, who was still fretting over his "sister's" wounds. "Who are you?"

Dayton was searching around. He had heard some voices, and they sounded like they weren't too far. He kept walking forward to where he heard the voices. From behind a nearby bush, he looked at Sora and the other animals. He decided that yelling to them would startle them, and walking towards them would too, so he kept his distance.

Sora's ears twitched at the unheard sound from close by. "Did you hear that Azure?" The Akita got up and walked forward into the undergrowth, heading towards the "sound".

Alec frowned and crouched protectively in front of his sister, eyeing the wolf warily. "She's my sister. What are you doing with her?" He demanded. He watched as the male headed towards a sound and he turned back to his twin. "Are you ok?" He asked again. "I got lost and when I tried to find you I twisted my paw." She said softly. Alec looked down a the foot and frowned. "Do you think you could shift into a form I can carry?" He inquired.

Dayton heard some footsteps coming towards him. He simply decided to stay in his spot for them to find them there. He kind of knew how things like this usually play out. Either they interrogate him or they try to fight him, he's been in this situation many times before. At least that's how they went before.

Sora's head popped through the bushes as soon as he realized the animal was probably wandering around lost. "Hiya," he chirped, looking forward at Dayton. "Something wrong?"
He walked up to the wolf in caution, remembering that an evil group of wolves caused Aferraron to look like this. He didn't look like one of the "shadows", but the Akita still held a certain amount of caution in his step.

Dayton was caught off guard by Sora, casually popping his head through the bushes as if he knew that he was there all along. "Oh." He said. He saw the small amount of caution in Sora's step. "What's wrong?" He asked him. He didn't know why he was being cautious. As far as he know, there was nothing following him.

Azure nodded at her brother. Her fur began to shimmer as she bit back whimper of pain as her form shrunk in. Her ears got small, her body slimmer and soon a tiny cat was laying on the grass. Alec curled around her and gently licked between her ears soothingly.

"Are you a friend or a foe?" Sora asked in a way that seemed friendly, cautious, and somewhat hostile all at the same time. His body took on a slight glow, just in case this wolf was with the Organization. "Are you one of the Shadows?"

Dayton noticed the slight glow Sora had. "The Shadows? No, I'm not." He said. He had never really heard of the Shadows before, so me basically had no idea what Sora was going on about about the 'Shadows'. It sounded like a stupid name to him.

Sora could tell the wolf was confused. "The Shadows, as I used to call them, are monstrous beasts that have been enslaved or taken over by the immense amounts of darkness in this area. Their actual 'name' is the Deformed" Sora looked around for any possible enemies, soon beckoning Azure and Alec to come to where he and Dayton were. "Azure! Alec! Come here if you can!"

(Sorry! I couldn't come up with a better name! The Deformed are colorful energy beings who appear to possess animals. They cannot be killed by normal means, because the body they posses will die if attacked mortally. Once the Deformed is forced out and tried to seek a new host, you may then kill it. Warning! These foes are extremely dangerous!)

Alec looked over before he carefully gripped the scruff at the back of his sisters neck and gently lifted Azure into the air and padded over to Sora.
