It was already mid-morning.

It wasn't too late, or too early. That was good for the students, really. By now they would be used to the slightly different days and nights of Kantaku. It wasn't a giant change. Ten hours of night, fourteen hours of daylight. They weren't much longer then the times on Earth, at least for those who lived on the planet. Still, it was a change and it took some getting used to. As opposed to most days, the students were not being bustled about to their classes. Today was reserved for practicing a different skillset, and preparations were already in order.

Today was pilot training for the students of the Tsukino-Danvers Academy.
Chie sipped her juice. She'd purchased the box from the mechanical vendor near to her room. It was a grape blend, and it was frankly quite tasty in the tiny girl's opinion. Sure, she had to be on her way, but there was nothing stopping her from getting a nice drink before she got there. It's not like she would delay getting to her favorite "class" in the academy. The halls ahead were clean, white, and utilitarian. The people who constructed the Academy hadn't exactly been planning for much decoration. No, the decoration came from the teachers. Some posted cheerful signs on their doors, others left them as they were. It depended on the attitude involved in the classroom, really. Chie shrugged as she walked. As long as the teacher didn't annoy her she didn't mind so much. Unfortunately, plenty of teachers annoyed her. Badly. As the small girl strolled through the hall, her uniform swished. The Tsukino-Danvers girls uniform was black-and-white, resembling the sailor suits still frequent back home in Japan. Or in colonies heavily influenced by Japan. It didn't bother Chie.

It made things even more like an anime then they already were.

This was, in Chie's opinion, completely awesome. Her room was plastered in the evidence of her consumption of such media. Manga(paperback and holographic, she enjoyed both), light novels(the same), anime, figures, visual novels(all ages), her room was a haven for her adoration of such things. Chie brought at least one manga almost everywhere she went... except for today. Today was awesome enough that she didn't need to bring something along to occupy her. MF pilot training... of, it got better and better every time. Just being in the cockpit was amazing, and it got better and better the more that the students were allowed to do. Chie suspected today would be full-blown combat training... Boom-chan was ready. So was Chie.

Ignoring everything around her, the little girl strolled onward, the excitement inside her barely showing on her face.
"Waaah today's training day!"

Ichigo sprinted down the hall, waving her arms. She wasn't late, far from it. No, her hurry was an expression of how excited she was for the impending mecha pilot training. It as great and awesome and she got to talk to people and wear a tight-fitting costume! ... Well that part wasn't really the best part but it was part of being a pilot and all! And it wasn't so much a costume as a pilot suit since it was so important to piloting but whatever Ichigo was really excited right now! As she ran down the hall(completely forgetting that school rules prohibited such behavior), the pink-haired girl waved happily to those she passed, grinning widely.

"Aren't you all excited?!" she cried, "It's time to pilot our MF's! Oh this is so awesome I feel all tingly and great!"

... And narrowly avoiding falling flat on her face. Ichigo suddenly stumbled, waving her arms frantically to stay upright as she pitched forward. Oh no that wasn't good the floor was hard and hitting that would be pretty painful...

The girl caught herself. Barely. For a moment she paused, wiping her forehead.

"Whew... that as close!"

... And then she attempted to keep running down the hall.

Augustus held in his hand a book, a book which originally belonged to his father. It was a very ancient book dictating military strategy, army morality, general military behaviour and tactics within its casings. The book had been reinforced with iron bindings, holding together the very old piece of book. The book was kept firm in his grip as if it was life and death, as if the book was a sidearm which he would use within short mention.

He treaded through the white halls. The occational poster jutting out from the typical white and black atmosphere. There were plenty of people in the halls, it was MF piloting training after all, and Augustus had been sure to practice, read up and do his best to train for this event. Whilst he isn't the most physical of people it still won't hurt anyone in this situation if you have some physical as well as virtual training experience. Everything from the P.A.S.A.U. to the H.O.S.U. had been read up on and researched through his various books, manuals and the occational source. It had almost been drilled into his mind and now only the leading capability of the MF0017-MX ULTR and him had to be displayed.

The 'Overlord', the 'Emperor', huh... He thought to himself and smiled maliciously as he put the book into his chest pocket and continued walking on in a proud, orderly and powerful manner. His destination being the place where he would be reunited with his glorious MF0017-MX ULTR, one of the newest MF models of the current world, it is of the essence that Augustus shows the capability of this machine in this combat excercise to both teachers as well as others so that the interest for the HawX Dynamo's next-gen command mecha, MF0017-MX ULTR is increased greatly.

Whilst he was burning passionate about his will and desire to prove his machine capable of the frontlines through the use of agility he was quite afraid of the inhuman pilots it would need to properly function due to the powerful speed in it's trusters, the light weight of the machine itself and it's stealth capabilities. Other than that, nothing else of importance really occured on his walk to the place where the practice would originate, he simply went over the details of the school as he passed by the many classrooms and halls, the occational toilet room, nothing else was truly of dramatic importance.

Minamoto no Ai: samurai, Mechanical Frame pilot, devout slacker. Unlike those ambling through the corridors, she had hurried to the Benkei--not because she was eager to get to the training, but because the cockpit was surprisingly comfy, and it meant she could take time changing into her leathers. Thus, she had skipped any other obligations that day... and quite promptly fallen asleep in the single strangest-looking MF on the planet.

Who the hell designed a mecha to look exactly like a samurai?

The click of boots echoed down a hall, and some students stayed well clear of the woman coming down the hall. Tsumura Ayaka, or just Aya to her friends, was already well known throughout the school for her willingness to resort to force. On her first day, some elder boy had kept hitting on her without fail. She'd been quick enough to beat him down and, just to freak him out more, had even brandished her training pistol. He'd nearly pissed himself by the time he realized it was nothing more than a BB pistol, no threat at all, but that didn't matter. His dignity had taken the blow, and since then nobody messed with Ayaka. That was, after all, the way she liked it, since she hadn't meant anyone at this school she wanted to befriend.

With a shake of her head, she returned her mind to the present and continued her careful walk. Today was MF piloting training, most likely combat training, the day she'd been waiting for since the moment she arrived at this school. However, she was already going to be early as it was, and so she didn't jeopardize her reputation by running. Instead, she muffled her excitement until she reached the hangars. When she did, she immediately strode up to the X-5 that was hers and grinned, gently running her hand along the metal.

She was here to represent the best and brightest of the next generation of UEG pilots, and she took that quite seriously. However, she couldn't help the girlish excitement that filled her at the thought of piloting her precious X-5. It had a name, of course, though she'd never dare tell anyone about it. She'd taken to calling the mecha "Masaki" in honor of one of her friends back on base who hadn't made it into Tsukino-Danvers. He had made her promise to do so, and she was nothing of not a woman of her word, so the mech bore the name with pride.

Climbing up into the cockpit, she ran her systems check to ensure everything was well. The rocket pod was loaded, spare ammunition stored safely, the laser cannon charged. She turned her attention to the "Exterior Weapons Display", or EXD, to ascertain the status of her rifle and knife. The rifle read as full, with extra ammo stored within the massive weapon itself. The knife registered as sheathed, thanks to the sensors she'd installed in there, and she grinned. Masaki was ready for combat and so was she, so now all she had to do was wait. So, she continued her systems check with a light hum coming from her mouth. She was ready to show everyone what she could do, and prove she was an ace MF pilot.

Wayland jogged through the hallways of the training facilities, not bothering to watch where he was going or apologize when he ran into someone. That could wait for later, but being able to pilot The "Dauntless" was something he'd give his life up for! A smile was already showing on his lips as he thought about his mechanical frame. Unlike most MFs, Dauntless didn't carry a single firearm on board, rather uniquely using its own fists as its sole weapons. The entire assembly had been constructed to provide huge strength to the strikes of the contraption, and it had a few other tricks up its sleeves too.

Wayland's bombastic attitude and attention seeking manners hadn't made him much in the way of friends so far, he'd even managed to get himself in a fist-fight almost as quickly as he'd arrived. The guy had been straight asking for it, acting as if he were the high almighty of Tsukino-Danvers, maybe he'd learn some humility with a black eye and a swollen lip. He'd been doing the guy a favor, before he had looked like an ape. Now he looked like an ape that had gotten in a fight, at least he looked like he had something going for him. Wayland's mechanical frame solely revolved around the wielder's ability in hand-to-hand combat, and it just so happened that he was quite skilled in that regard. If they were having combat training, he'd definitely have it in the bag.

Wayland practically jumped in joy as his mechanical frame came into view. Scratch that, he literally jumped in joy, excitement coursing through his veins. It had been awhile since he'd felt so genuinely happy, the last time had been far before ma passed away. He still couldn't believe he was there, who would think that a common boy like himself would make it all the way to Tsukino-Danvers Academy? He never would have made it this far without the help of the old engineer, who'd made this all happen in the first place. He'd make a change in this world, one that made the world a better place, he just knew it.

Wayland climbed his way into the open hatch of the kneeling mech, fitting comfortably into the open pod and running his hands across the now familiar controls. Being in the mechanical frame made him feel truly alive, it made him feel as if he weren't alone. Adrenaline surged through him as the machine powered up around him. Wayland looked down at the gauges as the engines powered up, smiling as they all charged up to the optimal levels. Slipping his hands into the slots installed, he maneuvered his right hand into a fist. The mechanics were designed to follow his movements exactly and make the frame mirror his physical motions. He grinned as the mech's hand followed suit and did the exact same motion. It was like the machine was an extension of his own body, a part of him. With Wayland's hand still in fist, he clanked it the open palm of his left hand, as a display of strength. This was going to be a great day.

Of course, he wasn't technically supposed to be in his mech yet, but he couldn't resist the allure of piloting the thing, even for a second. He didn't want to wait for some boring old trainer to give a long drawn out speech, he wanted to pilot now. Wayland sighed as he heard the forecasted yell of one of the trainers, and he reluctantly powered down the frame and climbed out. Wayland sighed, he'd just have to wait a bit longer until he would be able to pilot.

For Katsuro, it was a basic, sure stroll to the hangar from his dorm. No hurry, no excitement; or at least, not any that showed on him. Though Katsuro had been a part in refitting the Silverhawk to the V4 chassis, he had yet to really test the new machine beyond a few balance trials. All the young pilot had to be sure of was that all of the instruments performed exactly as they meant to, and then the rest of it was up to the pilot's own skill.

Given that this was going to be his first major outing with an MF, much less the new Silverhawk, Katsuro was expecting to wipe out at some point. There was no real reason that all of the skills and tactics that he learned throughout the time here so far were going to all work perfectly on the first go, much less work at all. Half of the curriculum of the Tsukino-Danvers Academy would not exist otherwise. You just had to learn some things using trial and error, seeing your strengths and weaknesses and working to iron them out. And for practically every student in the school, exactly what and how they were going to develop would be completely different, especially if they had a custom Mechanical Frame.

But now that was just being obvious. Katsuro entered one of the hangars where his MF was store, mentally steeling himself for the impending MF combat test. The sheer size and number of the Mechanical Frames stored just here would be impressive to anyone, but sooner or later it was just going to be routine. What did surprise Katsuro was the amount of variance in all of the Mechanical Frames. From modified models to custom chassis to several supposedly standard-make MFs that Katsuro had never even heard of, this gave the Academy a massive variety in their trainees and their arms. It would also give a lot more difference in practice, Katsuro thought, if every MF was pitted against a different one each time.

For of all the things to learn in the Academy, one of the key concepts was to develop a strategy and stick to it, making it better and better until the strengths out-shined the faults. What made Katsuro rather different in that regard was the fact that his strategy would, in theory and hopefully in practice, end up varying around the opposing mech's design and strategy. Hopefully that didn't turn out to be a weakness in and of itself...

[i]No, that's not the issue right now[i/], Katsuro shrugged off the doubt. He quickly headed out of the hangar, making a beeline straight for the gym.

Today was the day of combat training, or so that’s was the rumor going around the school. Ren was already inside the hanger talking to the maintenance mechanics about his MF. “So we could not get the camera huh?” Ren asked. “sorry kid, we tried in integrated the system but it won’t stay stable. We got the thrusters to work so you can move to place to place quickly and set up. But as you know once you start moving you might be spotted also you can't fly just glide on the surface so no crazy stunts like jumping off a cliff and trying to glide, you will put to much strain on the wings and you might burn out the engines.” Ren nodded, “What worst is that every time you fire the camo shimmer. So you need to make all your shot count. We tried to counter act the effect but…”

“Yeah, I know. But in war you might have to do all the things you just told me not to do. But I understand this is just training so I won't be doing any of that.” Ren said.

Ren wore the stander uniform for the academy all black with white trimmings, but the jacket he left the top 3 button unbutton and open and under he wore a white shirt. The choker around his neck was not too tight, but it did bare a cross. It was the last thing his father gave him before he left to fight in the war. Watching some of the other students enter the garage, they all looked to excited. Ren was not. He was there for one thing only; to be the best support anyone has ever seen. The one girl who was also a sniper seemed to be out of place. Her ditsy attitude really put him on edge. She didn’t look like a girl who would take anything seriously. No matter, his father always said looks can be deceiving. So he would no judge her abilities until after combat.

He was not sure what to make out of the group he would be paired up with, all he knew is that he would watch their asses. He climbed into the MF and started to run diagnostic check. His MF has so many moving parts that he needed to make sure they were all in working order. One missed check could mean not only the death of his team but his own death. Once all system was green he placed his right hand on his cross and rubbed it with the tips of his thumb and his index finger. He closed his eyes, “Father, give me strength.”

He opened his eyes, “ok ghost lets stand,” placing his hands on the controls the cockpit closed and then the lights and monitors turned on. The cameras on the outside displayed everything outside in extremely high definition. The MF eye flashed then it rose to its feet. The Sniper rifle was on the wall behind him. He would not grab it until it was time to head out to the training field. The back of his MF there is a place for the rifle, there is a diagonal made just for it so the doesn’t scrape the ground. But he is force to walk because the rifle blocks the wings and his thrusters, although he prefers to walk and run anyway. He only uses the thrusters if he needs to quickly move from place to place.

"HEY! What are you doing? GET OUT OF THAT THING!" A voice came from below it was one of the instructors, "Oh I'm sorry, I thought i was suppose to get in I will get out right now." Ren got our and stood next to his MF waiting for further instruction. Good news is that everything was in working order. He walked to where he was suppose to be meeting up and waiting for instructions. There were a few people there non who he wanted to socialize with so he leaned up against the wall waiting for the CO to come in once inside he would fall in line and wait for orders.

Lirael's mech clattered to the ground with a mechanic smash, the sound of defeat, she found herself alone surrounded by a hundred enemies, failure was in sight and death would follow, the enemy commander, noticable due to his Mech's larger frame moved closer and with every thud gave off a strange electrical beep, like a phone, the beep continued to go every two seconds and got louder and louder till Lirael felt realities shift.

Lirael blinked softly and felt a strange uncomfortable pain on her neck and arm, she blinked more violently this time and saw the whiteness of walls and only then it became apparent that she now lay half naked on her bedeoom floor with the sheets slightly dragged over herself. "A dream." She sighed as she stopped the beeping of her alarm clock that lay down next to her on the floor. She glanced the time as she hit the 'STOP' button that silenced the alarm.

"Oh.." Scrambling to her feet she rushed to a chair which lay with her uniform and pulled, stuffed and hopped it all on. Once dressed she ran so fast down the halls that she would take corners as if in a rally car, her feet skidding round each bend like the wheels of the off road vehicles. She slowes to a fast walk, giving little sign of exhaustion as she entered the class. No make up and a bed head wasn't as bad as missing the most exhilarating class this place had to offer.

She stood next to a smaller much younger girl and awaited her next instruction.

Um...So the characters aren't actually supposed to be getting in their mecha yet. ^^;
I mean, the instructor needs to talk to them about what they'll be doing for the exercise, then they need to change into their pilot suits, theen they get in their mecha.

Augustus turned the next corner and saw the entrance to the classroom which would be the origin to his reunion with his MF0017-MX. His uniform was a little different than others, the basics were the same, however his upper right torso held a badge, indicating his honorary status within the school and then below that was an emblem stating that he was with the HawX Dynamo test pilot team, there were four others with HawX Dynamo machines in other countries, each with another one of the many variants of the MF0017, their mission is to display the utter strenght of the MF0017 as the next gen of the future.

Ever after HawX Dynamo won the previous next-gen MF contest between corporations to give birth to the next MF to visit the frontlines, it was now time for their own, self funded machine, the MF0017. He was quite the well clad and well figured person, nothing wrong with him except his tall standing as he entered the classroom, three women were here with him, slightly before the class would actually start.

He entered, walked past the women and sat down at his seat in the very back of the room.

Ayaka became aware of an instructor herding the others to the classroom, as it turned out they were supposed to meet there. Thankfully for Ayaka, the instructor hadn't noticed her mech in the very back yet. Yet another of the many perks of the X-5's power supply meant that it wasn't loud when running in diagnostic mode, which was what Ayaka had booted into. So, Ayaka carefully exited and made her way from the hangar to the classroom, brushing at her uniform. She'd been given the option to have a badge sewn on to the chest, indicating that she came from a military school originally, but she'd foregone it. She didn't want to seem cocky, so she wore the same uniform as every other student.

When she reached the classroom, she opened the doors and stepped in, just to find the classroom mostly empty. Three other girls were already in their seats, and one guy sat in the very back. Looking each of them over, she wasn't able to discern much from the women, after all they weren't saying all that much. The man, however, she was already able to draw an impression of. His uniform was emblazoned with two symbols, both of which Ayaka was able to recognize after a moment's examination. One marked him as an honored student, not "Honors", "Honored" as she'd discovered there was a difference after consulting the school handbook. The other was a company patch for HawX Dynamo, a mech company. In her own opinion, they were overrated, after all their hands had never touched her X-5 and it was a wonderful mech, however she reserved judgement on the company itself.

Before she walked to her seat, her eyes fixed on the boy, slightly squinted, in evaluation. He seemed to have an air of relaxed confidence about him, and that combined with his obvious decorations didn't sit right with Ayaka. Her gaze, cold and unmoving, stayed settled on the boy for a mere moment longer before she took a seat in the middle of the room. Her training pistol was back in her room, per academy regulations, so she was actually free of weaponry. However, something about that boy made her wish she had the weapon. He simply rubbed her the wrong way, and so she kept her muscles in a state of relaxed tension, just like her mind. She could spring into a fight immediately if she needed to, but otherwise she'd save it for training.

Yet another person entered the classroom. He'd expected that they'd start making their approach now rather than later, after the class had already started. That'd give them quite the scolding, at least according to his beliefs and views on systems. The woman which had just entered seemed peculiar, he'd seen her in the hallways a couple times over the past few days. No one seemed to like her, keeping their distance of her. It seems that he had been the only one who felt that such precautions weren't necessary, often being amongst the surprisingly few to not avoid her completely.

As she glanced at him he took his own eyes, the eyes of a man who lost faith and let that dead gaze meet her judging eyes, they would meet and whatever unknown effects they would hold would take place. Augustus was uncaring of her gaze. let her bestow her eyes upon me, He thought as he then took out his book and placed it in his hands, whilst finally breaking the eye prolonged eye contact between the two.

And even the Emperor holds no strenght without a worthy steed, and his worthy steed holds no strenght without him. He read aloud in his mind, page 368. The woman who had analyzed him previously sat just about in front of him, he smiled maliciously as he glanced over the edge of his book to the back of her neck, seemingly taking his good time analyzing her, his dead gaze going from head to toe. Augustus was a person who had surprising ability to multi-task, basically an ability to take in and process information at incredible rates, if a person could use information to it's full extent there could be no better weapon, that's his opinion, all information is an asset worth utilizing in the end of it all.

''Name?'' He finally asked after a while of silence between him and the woman a couple of rows in front of him. She sat pretty much in the middle of the classroom. He continued reading from the edge of his eye sight, basically glancing over the edge of his book to Ayaka, whilst the ability to read the book still remained.

It seemed the superior-looking boy had deigned to speak with her, and she heavily debated whether or not to give him a response. After a moment of thought, she said simply "Tsumura Ayaka." This was, by all technicalities, not her full title, since she was a Recruit Corporal back at her old school, but she felt that "rank" was little more than a way of IDing her as someone who could help newcomers. After a moment, she replied "What about you?" Those eyes of his were vaguely disturbing, they seemed devoid of anything good. This just increased her readiness to fight, of course, since it provoked a natural response.

It was then that she noticed the book he was reading, a pretty old text by the looks of it. She wasn't able to see what it was that he was reading, but she didn't care all that much either. She casually reached into her bag and produced a UEG Infantryman's Guide book, which her father had conveniently misplaced, casually opening it up and reading as well. Within were various things that a soldier deployed in a combat zone would need to know, survival techniques, standard communication protocol and the like. It was interesting to her, if only because she'd thought Infantry was to be her calling in life.

Ren smiled, to himself and looked down from the back of the class room. It looks like his inconspicuous nature no one even noticed himself in the back of the room. As the two talked he learned one of his classmates names, 'Tsumura Ayaka' he thought to himself. Taking a seat in the far back on the other side next to the window, waiting for the rest to enter. The ones who were already there seemed to be characters on their own. He had no interest in getting to know them but they are offering free information by talking out loud who was he not to listen. Beside someone said getting to know your team leads to many more victory then not caring about the people you fight with. His father was a wise man.

Ren looked out the window, back in the classroom again. He really wanted to be inside his MF. Although he would never admit it, he was truly excited.

Suddenly someoned changed their position to the classroom to the very back window seat from his original position, most likely standing in the corner. He was met with a question of his own, What's my name, huh?. A very unusual thing to dwell upon, however every tactical choice is to be taken seriously, not weakly. As he looked up from his book he said. ''Overlord.'' With yet another malicious smile to top it off he then continued reading, taking a note of the fact that the woman in the middle row seemingly has interest in military handbooks and guides, if not books in general. ''Ex-military, or just on pause?'' He asked blankly, starting to read his book again, however he took a clear note of the man in the window seat to the left of him.

''Or maybe you lived on a military base.'' He continued, his intent would be a mystery, he clouded it clearly. ''Maybe you're just interested in the military.'' He finished the sentence at the same time he had finished reading the book, 479 pages. Blood and Iron, in sync... He thought as he quoted the lead mechanic on his MF0017-MX ULTR.

"Er..."

The voice was rather... confused. The teacher was a smallish woman, with shoulder-length brown hair and large, thick glasses. She wore a tan turtleneck sweater and a long, dark brown skirt reaching just above her ankles. She had dark green eyes, and a light skintone, and she regarded the students in her classroom with a somewhat perplexed expression.

"You're not in here today..." she began, "You're supposed to be meeting in the gym."
Chie

The small girl was finishing her juice as she entered the gym. Where was everybody already... she figured they would be here by now if they wanted to actually pilot their mecha. Idiots. Chie tossed her her juicebox in the garbage can and strolled to the center of the room, looking around. No matter how vast the gym was, and how well-suited its facilities were for PE, it wasn't exactly big enough for MF pilot training. That would be stupid. No, the gym was instead linked to two important components of the lessons: The changing room, and the storage for the mecha themselves. The purpose of the changing rooms was obvious. Unlike with PE, where students simply carried the uniform around and changed in classrooms, the changing rooms were also storage for each student's pilot suit. The MF's were simply, logically, stored near it.

Chie stood with her arms folded. She was already getting kind of impatient, where were all the people who did pilot training today? What was taking them? Ugh, morons. They were probably off in some other room or something because they somehow still didn't get the layout of the academy... but that would be stupid, wouldn't it?
Ichigo

Ichigo skidded to a halt in the gym. Wow, everyone wasn't here yet! Oh well that wasn't a big deal it would be starting soon and it would be awesome! She ran right to the center of the gym, beside a much younger and more irritable-looking girl, and took her position beside her. They'd get their task or whatever they'd need to do all figured out and then they'd get to change and pilot and it would be awesome and super-cool and everything?

Oh hey the instructor was already here!

Tsukino Sumiko(clad in a labcoat over the current outfit, as she was almost always seen) was the younger of the two founders of the academy. An absolute technological genius, the young woman had spearheaded the project and gained the assistance of Gregory Danvers. And now, well... she even served as an instructor at the Academy.

"When everyone's here, we'll get started!" she declared with a grin. She did so love her job.

"LEEEEEEEET'S GOOOOOOOOOO!~

Jack Yatagarasu barreled into the gym at high-speed, arms outstretched to make up for the fact that he wasn't currently in a giant robot already, a terrible crime if ever there was one! Sure, he had gotten lost in the way here...five...well honestly sixteen times in a row...but now he...HAD ARRIVED! Well, at the gym anyways, not in his amazing giant robot like he would have preferred...not that giant robots fit indoors, but his entrance was at least suitably heroic!

Entrance and getting lost notwithstanding he ran over to Instructor Tsukino, gave a brief salute and started hopping excitedly from one foot to the other.

"What do we get to do today!? Can I get into the suit already!? Are we testing stuff, or sparring or maybe we get to practice cool finishing moves! or..." he continued on like this at length.

As the classroom instructor started speaking he could feel the confusion in her tone, that's when he remembered that piloting training always began in the gym, no gathering in the classrooms or anything of that imagination. He launched himself out of his chair before the instructor could finish and walked rapidly towards the gym, if he remembered the layout correctly he would be able to perform a right turn... here and buy him a couple minutes.

This is disgraceful... he thought to himself, maybe he was overreacting, or thinking in a far too logical manner but he wasn't proud of his rather small error, not proud at all. Left and done, he'd arrived,, thank the gods for his long and quick legs, not breaking his authortiarian, elite like pressence and still going fast. Putting aside his hand-me-down ancient book into his chest pocket he walked up to the instructor realizing that he'd only been late by a couple seconds, a minute at worst. He stopped just in front of the instructpr and remained still. ''Ma'am, sorry for my late arrival.'' He then turned around and stood in line with the others, his tall stature very present.

His reuinion would begin shortly, the time to reveal what HawX Dynamo had been working on in the shadows all these years, the B.A.I. system. A way of compencating for the high push on the human body made by the machine, even in a piloting suit, therefore the MF0017 would need a specialized piloting suit, all of HawX Dynamo origin. And not even this suit can fully compencate the power of the machine, that's where the B.A.I. system comes in, however it's abilities would be revealed when the reunion would come and he would meet the mechanics team.

I feel a new age dawning. He thought to himself as he glanced over the gym, seemingly seeing through the walls and eyeing the greatness that is the MF0017-MX ULTR.

Ayaka kept her composure when the instructor revealed that they were to gather in the gym. Mentally, she was already recalling the face and name of the guy who'd told her they met here and began plotting revenge. As she did so, she stood up, placing her book in he bag as she lifted, and said "My apologies ma'am, I was told we met here, apparently mistakenly." With that, she fast walked from the room. The guy who'd identified himself as "Overlord" had split immediately, but that didn't matter to her. From what she could tell, he was just as she'd expected, though much more subdued than she'd thought. She broke into a light jog at that, cutting corners and making her way to the gym with seconds to spare, entering the gym with a relieved sigh as she said to the instructor "Sorry to be late ma'am."

With that, she entered the line with the others and stood ramrod straight, just like her old instructors had taught her. Her eyes were locked on the woman who was to be their instructor, and her arms were stiff at her side. She'd never incurred the wrath of her instructors for improper parade stance and, though she felt it may not be necessary anymore, in a way this could still be considered a military school, when one took into account that few MF pilots wound up in civilian work. So, she kept her stance while mentally preparing herself for action. She knew, from earlier, that Masaki was locked, loaded and ready to go, all it needed was its pilot. Ayaka intended to show everyone what a UEG military upbringing could do, what SHE could do.

Wayland took up the same jog as earlier on his way to the gym, albeit this time a bit less enthusiastic. Sure, they'd still be piloting soon enough, "soon" wasn't the same as "now". As he exited the hangar, he looked back for one last, longing glance at his mechanical frame. Of course, he'd been to the gym before, so he knew the way well enough, and he realized that he'd need to go much faster if he wanted to get there in time. Wayland cursed his short legs and drove himself into a sprint, determined to get there in time. He'd been late before, and it just meant that he'd get to pilot his mechanical frame for an even lower amount of time, and that would not do. Mechanical Frame pilots were supposed to the best of the best, being late to training sure wouldn't place him in that category.

What he lacked for in height and speed, Wayland made up for with endurance. Keeping up the run, he approached the doors to the gym. He silently hoped that the lecture would be short and to the point, though a lot of times they weren't. Curiosity filled him as he wandered what they would be doing today. The rumor around the Academy was that combat training was occurring today, which sure would be something special. Well, soon you'll find out, Wayland silently told himself. As he burst open the doors of the gym, still running, he realized that he was late. Red-faced and huffing rapidly from the run, he pulled himself up and into the line of pilots already present. Pulling himself into a clumsy salute, Wayland smiled sheepishly, staring forward at the instructor.

After the teacher enter and told them where they were suppose to be meeting, he rose and walked out the room. Making his way to the gym and walking his he seen the teacher. He bowed to her and calming fell in line. Awaiting on what to do next. Two of the six who was there walked with him, well not really he walked behind them as if she was following. All this walking was boring, he wanted to get inside his MF and run some drills or whatever they were going to be doing today.
