Aye, we're still around. Slow, people are busy and stuff, but to my knowledge still active.

I'm kinda of interested, but I can't find information as to what this exactly is. I've discovered it is Medieval, maybe Fantasy, it has some amazing Nation creation, but I don't know its history, any current conflicts or problems, etc. Anyone care to throw me at the post where this all is said?

I'm going to say bout my country. My rebellious vassals brutally murdered my lady wife in a 'Red wedding' type of ambush and I'm coldly dealing with them like Tywin Lannister.

I would still like to call this active, but I've honestly wanted to restart this for a long time using the vastly improved ruleset I've made for this during this slow period.

I feel shitty for doing this just after you posted, Sadko, but I think I need to declare this incarnation of To ap Lunds dead. Other people have been making empty promises to post a bit too much, and I mean that in as non-insulting a way as you can possibly say that, since it's my responsibility to keep this thread up and active. But if an RP loses half its people, while a number of the rest only post intermittently, I think a refresh is in order.

@ the two new folks:This RP got off to a slow start, and due to several other popular NRPs coming out, kinda faded into the background. If you're interested in learning more, I plan on giving this a reboot with the ruleset that's now had a proper baptism by fire. It might be tonight, even, since I've noticed a number of new people lurking around the NRP forums.

I need to head off to work now, but by tonight I'll be deciding whether this gets a reboot tonight, or give it a little more time.

Once again, I apologize, since a lot of work went into all your nations and posts, but the rules as I have them now are drastically different for the better, and I think they're too different to simply integrate them into the current game.

I'm in as well - and you're right, this was a trial by fire. I'll be changing a bit about Pelataria as well. Some things worked well and others simply didn't.

So what is the overall plot? I know it will be mentioned in the new thread, but while we're waiting, I'm curious. It seems to be related to a Dark Ages Britain, almost. Flooby's first post had a lot of key figures from within Arthurian tales. Is it some sort of AU of King Arthur?

Nah, Arthur isn't in it at all. I think Flooby might have used those names symbolically, or it could have been coincidental. *shrugs*

Anywho, I'm not even gonna try to attempt to explain the current story arc with the overlord and the heirs and such, because my Lord was so damn far away from all that that I just kinda disregarded it for the most part. Someone else would be better suited to explain.

But as for the story as a whole, basically you've got this country - Lundland - which operates as a typical medieval nation: a King (or Overlord) rules the nation, but has a bunch of Lords under him who own the land. You play as one of these Lords, and basically control your own faction in Lundland. You are largely independent, and can wage war on other Lords and stuff (or really do whatever the hell you want - Flooby has been awesome about not confining players to certain actions). There are also a bunch of hostile nations all around, making life rather difficult.

So.. That's it in a nutshell

Yea, pretty much. The old king died recently, but his heir is... unactive in administering to his lords. So, you've got a nation filled with practically autonomous lords and a lot of external threats. What happens from then on depends on the actions of the individual lords. Will there be a new Overlord? Maybe the current Overlord stops being so moopy and actually does something? Or, will one ambitious lord trigger a civil war? The choices are almost unlimited.
