"Yes...yes everything is just fine. Excuse me for a moment." Getting up from the table, Ariel gave Zendra a smile for assurance before briskly walking to the front door and exiting the house. However, instead of actually going anywhere, she turned towards the back of the house where she couldn't be seen. There, she waited ever so patiently until a girl about her age walked out of the shadows. Although the low light made it quite difficult to make out a form, Ariel could clearly see the other girl's marred face.

"Hello there Sasha. Have you been looking for me?"

Zendra watched as Ariel left the table, she was left confused "o..okay" she said watching her leave the house, she turned to her mother who perked a eye brow and started to eat "well zendra....she seems...quirky" her mother commented and zendra took the first bite of her food and waited a few minutes "may...maybe I should go see" she spoke getting up from the table her mother touching her hand stopping her from walking away "hun, let her do her thing she will be back" Zendra's mother assured her with a smile before her father looked over to Zendra.

"I dont get you kids....not the the fact my little girl has a girl friend...but that you both are...weird.." her father said nonchalantly the her mother quickly punched him in the arm "dont listen to him sweety"

The other girl finally stepped out of the shadows, her figure being revealed in the light of the evening street lamps. She had on a pair of dark pants, a shirt, and a leather jacket. Nothing too fancy given her circumstances. Long, black hair cascaded in a straight patern down her head, but the noticeable component of her attire was an eye patch around her left eye. For the girl's beauty was marred with burn marks along one half of her face, her eye blind miscolored with the working orange one. Needless to say, she snarled at Ariel.

The death angel giggled playfully. "Oh it is you Sasha Walker! You've finally found me...again. Does the mutt need another session of punishment?"

"Shut up Angel of Death!" Sasha took a step forward. "I don't know who you've targeted this time...but I won't let this one end up like the rest! Not like...like..."

"Your brother?" Ariel titled her head to the side innocently. "Heh, he was fun to play with really! You should be proud he lasted that long with me! This new girl...she's got a demon inside her. A little spicy kick...I have to play the submissive girl around her to get what I want." Ariel smiled. "Although I do like her a lot...business is business. She'll be dead in the next week maybe..."

"You...I won't let you kill anyone else!" Lashing out, Sasha dashed to tackle the death angel, only to splutter when she felt Ariel's grip around her throat in a heartbeat. The Angel of Death flashed her a twisted grin.

"You think you can stop me? You're such an idiot! But little doggies like you always are...hmm, why are you so worried for other people? Do you really want to see me gone that much, hmm?" Leaning in close, Ariel brought her face closer to Sasha's and slowly began licking the burned side of her face.

Tensing, Sasha struggled in the death grip as small helpless whimpers escaped her throat. "Look at those scars," Ariel cooed. "Did I do that? Hmm, you still taste delicious...just like your brother. Maybe I'll kill you next Sasha..."

as Zendra sat the the table inside she felt something inside her stir then started hearing whispers a voice that seemed so familiar but she could not place it, she continued to eat her eyes darting over to the door every few moments and when she did the voice got louder "exu..excuse me mom, ill be right back" she quickly got up and went upstairs to the bathroom, locking the door behind her she found herself in front of the mirror and it was not her staring back but Zandrea the demon inside her.

"ho...how" Zendra asked timidly "its all in your head girl...." the demon replied, Zendra turned around from the mirror only to see the demon now sitting on the bathtub rim with a smile on her face "no one can see or hear me but you right now, I mostly sleep when I allow you to control us, but someone woke me up, and I am not sure who....where is the death bringer?" Zandrea crossed her legs with a devilish smile on her face as she watched Zendra try to think of what to say "sh....she left but she will be back"

the demon giggled and pointed at the window that over looked the back where Ariel and Sasha was,Zendra walked over and peaked out the window, she could not make out anything they were saying, the only she seen was what looked like Ariel holding this girl she never seen before and lock her face "it looks like she already is moving on kid...shame she talked such a big game" the demon laughed and placed her hands on Zendra's shoulders. Zendra had no idea what to say but tears lightly weld up in her eyes.

"let me out Zendra....let me go down there...DO IT....release me from inside" she demon commanded and Zendra closed her eyes and nodded and with a flash of light that lite up the back area from the window, Zendra's skin peeled away and under was the red firery demon. "mmmmmm yes....about time" she stretched and watched out the window again at Ariel and Sasha.

"Hmm?" Sensing a sudden shift in the air, Ariel turned to look up. Upon seeing the open window, Ariel realized that Zendra was staring back at her. No...red skin and fiery eyes...this was Zendrea. Smiling, she waved at her lover and motioned for her to come down. "Hello there love. Why don't you come and join us? Don't mind me! I was just....taking out some trash."

Smirking, she tossed Sasha roughly on the ground and stood above her. "I assure you dear, that I have no intention of soiling this mutt. Come to me, dear Zendrea..." She then flashed a sadistic glare down at the marred girl, rising insanity dancing in her red eyes. "Hush now Sasha.....don't tempt me to make a mess out of you right in front of my beloved."

Gritting her teeth, Sasha had her own hate-filled glare right back at Ariel. "Fuck...fuck you..." The Angel of Death simply giggled.

"You would...just like your brother....just another juicy kill..."

the demon in the window smirked herself then disappeared from the window only to reappear at the back door in cloud of smoke, the smell of hellfire and brimstone filled the air.
"you gave me this speech about me not hurting my other, then you go and have her watch you and this...tsk tsk tsk" she gestured to Sasha and started walking towards them both her hips swaying from side to side with each step of her bare feet. "the amount of hurt Zendra is feeling right now seeing you lick...another..mmmmmm that feeds me the pasta on your plates"

Zandrea's eyes fell on Sasha then back to Ariel "Do not be mistaken angel of death....my other maybe yours but I am not, I am here to find out what you are up to" she disappeared from the spot she was standing and reappeared sitting under a tree afew feet away the smell reclaiming the air.

"Oh of course...but you will be. You'll be mine before you know it Zendrea." Having dropped the submissive girl act, Ariel flickered away, only to appear sitting next to the other girl in the tree. Leaning closer, Ariel wrapped her arms around the demon. "Oh my dear...forgive me. I didn't mean to offend you...both of you." A slight blush shading her cheeks, the pale girl looked into Zendrea's eyes. "Zendra...I know you're in there. Please, forgive your angel. Punish me if you want....I know I've been a bad girl...."

Having recovered from the choke hold, Sasha spluttered beneath them before looking up. The other girl...she really was a demon. Zendra was it? Or Zendrea? Didn't matter. She has to be warned. "S-Stop! Listen, Zendrea or...whatever your name is. Get away from her! She'll kill you before you know it! I sa-oof!"

Ariel had appeared above her in a heartbeat, kicking the girl in the gut. "Hush now. Why do you spout such lies before my love?" The blush was gone, Ariel's shy demeanor having changed into an icy nature.

"my other is asleep, she cant hear you..." Zandrea watched the other girl then the exchange and smirked it seemed that this girl knew more then Ariel wanted her to say "once again death angel...I am not your love" Zandrea's pale yellow eyes looked over to the girl, she still sat where she was but this girl perked her curiosity who was she, and how much did she know that Ariel would not like for her to know.

the yard once again filled with the smell of fire and brimstone as Zandrea vanished and reappeared next to the new girl "it seems you have information you wish to share.." she leaned in really close to Sasha so close, she turned her eyes to Ariel and since she was so close to Sasha, she placed a light kiss on her lips, the taste of that of hot cinnamon but the heat lingered on her lips well after "now...tell me everything I want to know..." Zandrea's hand rested where Ariel hit her the heat from her hand was like a soothing heat gel on the area

"What are you-mmpf!" Sasha's eyes widened and she spluttered about when Zendrea's lips met her own. Watching the while exchange in cool silence, Ariel's eye twitched slightly, the only indicator of her annoyance. Gasping for breath, Sasha glared up at the demon. "I don't roll that way," she spat. The healing on her body did nothing to quell her own irritation. "Look, I'm just gonna warn you about her, but if you disregard it then that's fine by me. Not my fault if you're an idiot who wants to die."

Scowling, Sasha propped herself on her arms and looked into Zendrea's eyes. "I'm sure you already know that....thing is the Angel of Death. You're also aware that she's not exactly right in the head too. That monster is insane. She goes around killing others for fun. Not because of some duty in her role, but because she gets a kick out of it! It happens all the time...she seduces a random human, changing her persona to meet the needs...and right when they fall for her, she takes their life. Simple as that."

In response to these accusations, Ariel only smirked. "Is there a point to all this Sasha? Does my intent matter at all?"

Sasha directed her hate-filled stare at her. "Oh we haven't gotten to the best part. You know, the part where we speak about your powers?"

Ariel's smile dropped, the air suddenly turning an icy cold.

Zendrea smiled enjoying this conflict, even though her other was madly in love with Ariel, Zendrea did not like other super natural beings "that dear angel of death is the reason I am walking this earth right now...my other woke me up to save her, as you can plainly tell I am a demon, cursed to share a body with a mortal...it just happens that my other is in love with Ariel...but if what you say is true, she brings nothing but ill will to my vessel" Zendrea's yellow eyes fell on Ariel "but i wish to hear more" she turned her gaze back to Sasha.

Ariel narrowed her own crimson eyes right back at the demon. Why should she put up with any of this? She could kill them both in a heartbeat! Still, she clung to her last shred of calm and allowed Sasha to speak once more. "Go ahead," she dared. "This doesn't change anything."

Sasha ignored her to look back up at the demon. "Death works in strange ways," she began. "I've been around long enough to get a good guess of how her powers work. Normally, she's able to kill anyone upon mere contact with herself. Usually. However, there are certain people who don't immediately die when they do touch her. These people are spared....because their deaths are already written for them."

Sasha paused to let that little revelation sink into the demon's head. If that were the case....then the reason Ariel couldn't defend herself against Tina and Megan from before...was because she had already a decided earlier when and how they would die. Then that meant...Zendra would....

a long laugh escaped the demons lips "how strange fate is...she wanted to play the long game with my other, and in doing so woke me up....my other is going to be so crushed when she find out the only person who she thought loved her...is fake, she might revert so bad I will have full access to this body" the demon smiled disappearing then reappearing back in the tree crossing her legs.

"so what to do with this information, I for one am excited to have full control of this body because when she finds out, you thought she was timid and submissive before...this will crush her soul...yumm"

Ariel frowned at this new development, and the mere thought of it puzzled her. Why should she care about Zendra? She was just another pawn to pass the time. Still....the way Zendrea talked about her...it boiled her blood to hear the demon so willing to control their shared body.

"Enough," she finally said. "Go home Sasha. You've done enough for tonight." Turning to the demon in the tree, Ariel placed her hands on hips and smiled coyly. "Goodness, I never would have expected you to be such an inconvience for me! You realize that Zendra is already cursed to die, right? Won't that mean you go down too demon girl?"

Zendra smiled and all her attention went to Ariel "yes but what would happen if I were to stay in this body? I am not cursed to die...so I am starting to think keeping Zendra locked away in her room up here" point to her head "she wont die at your hands, its a win win....I get full range of this body and Zendra stays alive...poor girl since she has to sleep while I am in control will have no idea that she will never come back tsk tsk tsk I feel really bad..." Zendrea look at the ground and feigned sadness "but luckily such moments pass quicky.

Zendrea stretched and took a deep breath in "I just want to say thank you for waking me up...it may have screwed your plans over to ruin such a timid loner of a girl....but thank you"

Ariel gritted her teeth at the mocking tone Zendrea used to her. Within a heartbeat, Ariel was sitting right next to the demon, leaning dangerously close to her face. The tree beneath with which they were sitting on began to rapidly decay and break away. It was dying.

Realizing what was happening, Sasha got up and frowned at the two of them. "You idiot!" She directed her call towards Zendrea. "What the hell are you doing? She can kill you right now if she wanted! Don't try and cheat Death! I should know...."

The Angel of Death ignored Sasha's words as she gripped Zendrea's chin forcibly and brought her closer. Ariel's crimson eyes were wide with insanity and her lips curled up into a sneer. "Like the girl said...don't test me little demon. All things die...even you. It doesn't matter if you're cursed or not...I can still kill you!" She dug her nails into Zendrea's skin to emphasize her point.

"Stay away from my Zendra," she hissed. "She's mine! Mine, mine, all mine! Release her now...I'm tired of you. I want to hear her voice....I said do it now." Death giggled softly as she brought up a finger to Zendrea's eyes.

"Do it before I take those pretty little eyes of yours...give me my precious Zendra...."

Zendrea's smirk turned sour as she was grabbed, fire burning in her eyes as she looking into the crimson that was Ariel's, as Ariel dug into her chin hot blood pooled at the marks "I will make you regret this....I will make sure of it.." she said with scowl on her face, then the fire died, the demon's red skin turned back to Zendra's normal cream toned skin and, soon Zendra was sitting where Zendrea was, her eyes closed breathing normally, her eyes slowly flickered open "wh...where...what happened?" she took in her surounding for a moment and yelped realizing she was up in a tree. "ahhh!" she quickly clung to the branch that creeked as she moved, holding on like a cat "...i hate heights"

she was unsure what was going on the last thing she remembered was being in the bathroom.

At the appearance of the demon's human half, Ariel let out a sigh of relief she didn't even know she was holding. Perhaps she really did have feelings for the girl....maybe. Hearing Zendra's blind panic of heights, Ariel smiled warmly as she leaned over to gently caress Zendra's cheek. "Zendra...I'm happy to see you back. Truly, I am." Her voice was soft, no longer spiteful from earlier and her eyes no longer had their edge. Even the tree had ceased to crumble beneath them.

Below, Sasha rolled her eyes. Ariel glanced her way and waved her off. "Leave Sasha. I won't tell you again." The scarred girl said nothing as she backed away into the shadows. She would deal with Ariel later; she has caused enough damage for tonight.

Sensing her departure, Ariel took a hold of her lover and gently flew them forward into the girl's bedroom. "Zendra...how much of all that did you hear?"

Zendra had her eyes closed until she was on solid ground again "hear all of what? who was that?" she asked confused, just like last time when zendrea is in control Zendra sleeps inside the body "the last thing I remember is being in the bathroom and seeing...." she thought for a moment "you with that other girl....." she looked away hurt thinking the worst of what she seen "then...I was asleep" she sat down on her own bed looking at the floor.

"she came out again didn't she...my other me...I think I remember seeing her and her telling me to let her out..." blotches of what happened before the switch was coming back. she reached out and grabbed Ariel's hand "Do I....disappoint you?" she asked feeling that the sasha she heard Ariel tell to leave was another lover.

Ariel's chest thumped so loud, she feared the other girl would hear her. "No! Of course not and don't ever say that again!" The spark of emotion in her voice surprised even her, making her inch away in fear. Taking Zendra's hand within her own, she brushed small kisses on the top palm and felt the familiar creeps of a blush rising to her cheeks. "You're not a disappointment. You're so much...more." What was going on? Why was she acting like this? She didn't actually have feelings for her prey, did she?

Confused about it herself, Ariel closed the distance between them and rested her head in Zendra's lap. "Don't think about that other girl. She was an unwelcome visitor...and she was never a lover of mine. Only a nuisance." She spat out that last word like poisoned water. "Oh, and Zendra? For...your own safety, can you promise something? Promise you will try to never let out your other self again. I fear that annoying thing exists to drive us apart...please do it for me?"

Turning over to look up at her lover, Ariel clung tighter in hesitance at what she would say next. "Also...do you...do you think I'm a monster? I want to hear your honest opinion of me..."

it was like a giant weight lifted off her shoulders when Ariel spoke taking away her fears "but the other me....sometimes I feel her clawing at the walls inside me..." Zendra ran her hand though Ariel's hair and breathed in deep "you are my angel...not a monster" she smiled softly "i love you, I am yours" she felt much better then before but there was thing feeling digging at her like something was wrong but she could not understand.

"Ariel you save me...save me from people who would hurt me...save me from my other....save me from myself, you are no monster" she leaned down and kissed her on the forehead "you also have my promise that my other self wont come out as long as i can keep her back"
