You were not to talk about Israel and bombings, terrorist attacks, and other things. You broke the rules, and you should not. You could have gotten banned in a way.

@ shoopthewoop, I would recommend against wading into Introduction Threads and retorting the same thing over and over relating to Spam, for whatever reasons you might dislike it. It sets a bad standard to new users and detracts these threads from what they should be about, simply welcoming them to the site, and that includes all aspects of it. I would hate to do so, but if this becomes more prevalent from you then contacting a moderator about this might seem like a possibility.

By the way, I like your avatar, I have no idea what it's from, but it's one of the first I've seen in a long time that I've actually stopped and said, "Darn, that's pretty awesome." :D

I'm not sure what kinds of games you're interested in, but Casual's usually a good place for most people to start and find their comfort level, but don't be afraid to check out Advanced as well! There's kind of a stigma attached to that word, but don't let that discourage you. Everyone's welcome everywhere!
