The Story.
A game known as Kingdoms of the Sky Online has been launched, the world's first Virtual Reality game. The Company that has released this amazing adventure announces exactly one week from the launch date they will hold an amazing in game event, either this information pushes you over and you decide to purchase the game or simply you had already planned to and finally saved up. For whatever reason you entered the game, you did so on March 1st 2017 the day of the event. At the time the event was supposed to begin, players wait patiently for an announcement that never comes. Confusion begins to set in when players realize the log out function has been disabled. The following message was sent to every inbox.
"Greetings player, welcome to the fantastic world of Kingdoms of the Sky Online! We thank you for your purchase and want to inform you that your contribution will not be in vein, you have been entered in the most amazing event to ever occur in human history! Kingdoms of the Sky Online is now your new world, we hope you enjoyed your time in the game so far because you will now be of permanent residence! As most of you have probably discovered the log out function has been disabled, don't worry about your real life body its existence is pointless now since you are here. A few changes have been made following this glorious event, you will find the respawn function is also disabled. Death in game means death in real life, monster AI has been increased and a new real-pain indicating system has been introduced allowing you to experience the world in a more realistic way, isn't that exciting!? Again we thank you for joining us on this new adventure and once more, welcome to Kingdoms of the Sky Online!" The Roleplay will begin exactly two days after this message was sent, allowing everyone to move past the initial shock & awe period while allowing them to build a very small base for their character.
The RP itself will revolve around a specific guild, our guild, comprised of many players aspiring for different things but with one goal in mind - to conquer this game. You will not be required to stick as a constant party but it is encouraged to create stories for your characters and attempt to forge real bonds with the players behind the other characters. This Roleplay will only be as good as the players allow it to be.

So I attempted to start up this RP a few months ago and due to a variety of scheduling conflicts and such I was forced to let it go and others continued to drag it along but not long after I had to leave, it went under. I am here today to revive it and possibly do it better, I'm going to change a few things and with the fact that new faces will appear (hopefully), maybe they can toss in some excellent ideas/interests that can help elaborate the world. I do have predetermined information for this RP involving locations, events, stories, etc but this is all subjected to change depending on the group that provides interest.
A Few Things to Note: (because people don't usually read the whole post)
- Characters and the classes/abilities they can use are created by you and ONLY you will be that class. This means you will for once be able to create that fantasy character you wish you had. Almost anything you imagine could work here.[/*]
- Since this is an RP we will not be focusing on leveling up, experience or other such ideas, instead we will focus on the more RP aspect of it. Many things can simply be implied or generally accepted.[/*]
- I REALLY enjoy making my ideas work and allowing others to collaborate with me, I do not run an RP like a Nazi and hope each member will present themselves with enough respect and intellect so each one of us feels like we created this.[/*]
Since this is my first attempt at a reboot, I'm not sure what information I should add. If enough interest is shown I'll toss up an OOC and we'll move from there. Hope to get this going! :)
