Imperial Relations
The UEAS has congratulated Churchill on his victory, and thanked him for his kind remarks about the UEAS during WWII. They are, however, saddened by the fact that he thinks Germany is being oppressed, and have invited him and anyone else he wishes to send with or in place of himself to Germany on an unguided tour so as to allow him to see what life in Germany is like up close and without any interference from the UEAS. Obviously, he would be accompanies by a group of UEAS soldiers, but they would be transferred under his control for the entire visit and take no orders from the UEAS.

De Vidan Relations
The UEAS has happily accepted the new scientists into the program, and have told them to work on designing the ICBM. They have also asked for a trade route, the UEAS would give Espacio De Vida raw materials in exchange for food. A gift has been sent in the form of designs for advanced German-designed aircraft in the hopes that they will have better relations with the UEAS than Japan.

The UEAS has, however, condemned their alliance with the NUJ. While they say it will not affect their relationship, they do say they hope that the alliance is cancelled as soon as it would be appropriate.

NUJ Relations
In response to the NUJ's propaganda newspapers and obvious demonizing twisting of words, the UEAS has moved the secondary Atlantic Fleet to the Pacific, to meet up with Pacific Naval Command and the refitted USS Enterprise. The Enterprise had been so extensively rebuilt that it was practically a whole new ship, it now had more AA turrets and a wider, elongated hull. Aircraft storage facilities had been upgraded to accommodate ten more aircraft, bringing the total up to one hundred. It also had bays on both sides to hold either seaplanes or landing craft (6 of either, three on each side). It now had a full complement of German-designed fighter and bomber jets, along with three Komet Rocketplanes, designed to quickly scout an area and report back without taking any fire by virtue of its speed.

This new fleet laid anchor in and around Pearl Harbor, returning to the place where America entered WWII. This time, however, if anyone attacked, they would be ready for them. With radar now in place, the skies and seas were scanned 24/7 for incoming craft, and land-based artillery stood waiting for the order to open fire if anything was spotted. Along with this defensive display, the UEAS also issued a statement to the NUJ.

"Do not attack us, we will defend ourselves to the last man."

It was more than a simple warning, it was meant to break down the propaganda machine by sounding like the UEAS was wary of the NUJ instead of thinking it a tiny fly. While the NUJ might print "UEAS Grovels before us!", it would still be beneficial. Too much confidence can be the downfall of a regime, the UEAS knew this already, but did the NUJ?

Soviet Relations
The UEAS has accepted the Soviet alliance proposal with the following message:

"We are extremely happy that you have decided to put our history behind you, we gratefully accept your proposal and hope it brings lasting peace between our nations."

However, the UEAS has declined the World Alliance proposal, saying that due to complex relations with other nations it would not be the best choice. They have also stated that when relations warm up with the United Empire, they will agree to join the World Alliance.

FEP Relations
"Dear Emperor Louis Napoleon VI

As we have assisted in the rebuilding after the war and worked together to restore the affected nations back to their former glory in Europe, we feel that it is time to solidify our relationship through a treaty. We suggest a mutual non-aggression pact and military access, if you wish to modify the agreement, please respond with whatever you wish to say. We will review the suggestion and reach a decision as quickly as possible.

NASA

Construction
NASA has constructed three solid rocket boosters, a set of fins, a liquid fuel tank, and a liquid fuel engine. They have also begun to set up a directional antenna to communicate with their latest mission.

Mission 1
Name: Explorer 2
Explorer 2's launch vehicle will consist of two solid rocket boosters, a liquid fuel tank, a liquid fuel engine, and a set of fins. The payload will be an orbital satellite, carrying a colony of fruit flies, an Oxygen Tank, a Carbon Dioxide Vent, a Food and water dispenser, a Waste bag, and electrodes. It will also have a silver-zinc battery, a barometer, a relayed processor, and a tracking transmitter. Its mission will be to test whether or not living creatures can survive in space if given the proper supplies.

Mission 2
Name: Thor 01
Thor 01 will be a simple solid rocket booster carrying a set of weights simulating the weight of a nuclear warhead, it will be launched towards an isolated part of Antarctica to test intercontinental capabilities. It will be launched shortly after Explorer 2, and the UEAS has made it clear that any real ICBMs developed would not be used against civilian populations, and that this test is simply to determine if they have gotten everything correct.

Some have joked that "If they were going to attack someone with it, they would tell people they were launching a suborbital probe."

WAR
Chiang Kai-sheck stands on top of his balcony with a crowd of people below. "The people of the USSGRR promise us they will help destroy the NUJ, this is simply to protect ourselves, WE DECLARE WAR" Chiang yelled to the people.

DESTROY
"I know they started a war, we will support China with metals, but we will not go in this war unless we must" Stalin said to his adviser. His adviser nodded even though he did not agree with the decision. If they fought together the war would end quickly, very quickly.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN
"What do you mean we have war, we never attacked them, they just want to take us down" Josef said slapping down on his desk. "Sir, we must ask for support, who should I ask, what must I do" the Adviser said. "We can't attack them, the UEAS will attempt to destroy us all" Josef said calming down a bit. "SHISETA, you are right, what can we do" the Adviser said. "We ask the Espacio and the FEP if they can help us, also ask the Brazilian Empire, they might decide to help us, as we did not start this" Josef said.

Well Yay First Post is war Request, that is Fun
"Emperor Washington, we have a letter for you" said his adviser handing him a letter. Washington reads it and throws it in the trash. "Wow, our first diplomatic note of the 1950's and it is a request for war, that is so messed up, GAH, tell the Japanease next year that I will declare war.".

Warmongers
Espacio De Vida has publicly condemned the USSGRR and China, asking why they would want another war so soon after the world was torn apart by WWII. They have refused any requests to ship goods to the Russians and Chinese and warned that sinking De Vidian ships bound for the NUJ will be a breach of the peace, leading to war. Stressing that they do not want war, they encourage both sides to make peace before any life can be lost.

I DO NOT CARE WHAT ANY SCUM SAYS
China has publicly said that if you support the NUJ then you should die. They have started sending torpedos to any ships they see on the border of the NUJ if it does not have a Chinese or USSGRR emblem. They have already sank a total of 3 Espacio ships and if they send any more that they will all die. If they even dare going into this war the USSGRR will side with China and WW3 might start again.

WAR HAS BEEN WAGED
"That is it, we have Japan starting to bring in friends, this is madness, gah, I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM DOING THIS" said Stalin. "Sir, what exactly are you doing" asked an adviser. "Going to war, I declare war on Espacio, Brazil, and Japan. Get the troops ready" said Stalin.

WHAT IS THIS MADNESS
The Brazilian empire publicly announced that they had become allies with the NUJ, but they did not expect this already. A war is breaking out and it isn't even 10 years after WW2. "Tell the Chinese and the Russians that they will be no more, we are sending half our troops to China and half to Russia. What Stalin did is evil, he will be punished with death. Send the Americans a message with us asking for help.

The World Will Fall
"So on our side we have Brazil and maybe Espacio, but we are fighting 2 of the largest countries on earth, either we end this war quickly or WW3 Breaks out" said Josef to a reporter, "And if WW3 breaks out we know what sides the FEP, the UE, and the UEAS will take, and once again we will end up looking like the bad guys even though China started this war". The reporter nodded and asked "What are your thoughts about some people saying we should use the nuke?" "Do they want us to be attacked by the UEAS, cause we will be if I use the nuke, and that would suck". "Oh and by the way, I need you to go find my Adviser, and tell him to send letters to the FEP, UE, and UEAS, and by the way, once I die, my son will make sure that the Nazi Union of Japan will become the Republic of Japan".

WAR, WAR EVERYWHERE
"Yes, I declare war on Espacio, and Brazil, and tell the UE, FEP, and the UEAS to stay out of this war or we will go to war with them to, we do not want anyone else to interfere with this war, this is Asian vs Asian, Espacio and Brazil had no business to get in this war" said Chiang. "YES SIR" said his Adviser.

Disgusting Behaviour
Espacio De Vida has declared war on China, issuing this speech.
"We are now at war. The Chinese menace has sunk a civilian boat, carrying 100 De Vidian civilians and 40 Japanese coming to live with their families in Espacio De Vida. We have no choice but to avenge these families and hope that other nations will assist in taking down the brutal warmongers."

Lopez's Office
Lopez slammed his fist down on his desk and tossed the papers onto the floor. "They declare war on us! For shipping supplies to Japan! Those entitled sons-of-bitc*es want us to disrupt trade because of their petty war! Double shipping to Brazil, dispatch soldiers to China! I will not stand for this."

American Trading
"Our troops have landed in Japan, they will be shipped out later today" said Washington's military adviser. "Good, also, tell the world we will remain strong" said Washington. His economic adviser ran into the room and handed the letter to Washington. Washington read it, told his economic adviser what to right on his letter and shooed him off.

Message to the NUJ
"While the USSGR has committed war crimes in the bast, you Fascists have done and have the capability to do far more harm in the world. As of now, you have made yourself a very powerful enemy. We are now officially at war, tell your allies to stay off our land, we don't want to be forced to annex Espacio De Vida. However, we will fight anyone who attacks us, and we will win. We will soon have the capability to hit any target on this planet with a nuclear device, surrender immediately and remove your Fascist regime, and no blood must be shed.

Military Operations
The Pacific Command fleet has left Pearl harbor for the Japanese mainland, it consists of ten submarines, twenty frigates, fifteen battleships, 30 destroyers, twenty cruisers, the USS Enterprise, the USS Berlin, and the USS Washington Aircraft Carriers. In addition to this, the fleet also had the needed Auxiliary ships for resupply and light combat support. Interestingly, it also carried a completely new class of ship: the missile cruiser. This new type of ship held eight V-4 missiles, and was planned to be used for bombarding enemy fleets and troops from long range. Of course, it also carried more conventional naval weaponry for defense.

Meanwhile, the National Council has ordered all military personnel and vehicles on the West Coast mobilized in preparation for the war. However, nobody plans to invade Japan. They simply wan the removal of the Nazi Regime and the installment of a democracy, and are prepared to fight if that is the only way to get it.

Peace Talks
The UEAS has promised to appear at the Peace Talks.

Message To The World
I am saddened that another world power has entered the war. Though I do see why both sides are fighting, I do feel that peaceful negotiations should be on the up most priority.
Despite this, because of these recent events I feel I must bring a treaty to the world. A treaty I dub 'protéger le pacte mondial'(Protect the world pact)

Not Getting Crushed For Beginners Step One: Diplomacy

Operation Objectives
To remove China from the war by harassing civilian populations while avoiding actual military battles.
Operation Guidelines
A force of soldiers 3,000 strong is to be dispatched into the Chinese mainland as a test of the tactics. This force shall sustain itself by looting supplies from small villages, making sure to raze them and leave no survivors. The property of wealthy government officials is to remain untouched, to sow the seeds of dissent amongst the Chinese population and make them question the ability of their rulers to protect them.

The Chinese cannot continue a war effort with rebellions running rampant across their country. Operation Broken Back also has the added benefit of depriving food supplies from the Chinese military and civilians.
