The chicken farm had quickly became a town square as a handful of the residents came from their hiding to meet David. Or perhaps 'harass' David was a better term for the situation. Vivienne sighed trying to ignore the ridiculous conversation that the three were having right outside her fence. The day had been a roller coaster so far, down and up on the emotional scale at least three times already. Lucky for Vi there wasn't too much debris to clean up in the coop, as she made sure to keep the place tidy everyday, instead of letting it build up as some might. She picked 20 eggs before returning herself back to the three, soon to be four.

"Viviveen! Vi, Chicken girl, Pecko, Come out. I really can't be bother to look for you. Even if you are right in front of me....which....you...are"

Leon. Vivienne had known Leon for quite awhile now; her mother and his had been friends for quite along time and often shared cooking secrets back and forth in the midst of their gossip. Vivienne smiled at him giving a friendly wave, "Good Morning!" she chirped happily at him, giving a gracious wave with her free hand; the other occupied with a carton of eggs.

"I need the eggs, also...That's the new guy right? We're getting a new guy? Right?"

"You need eggs or you want eggs?" Vi asked with a smirk. She had given Leon over a thousand eggs since getting the coop, and he hand't paid her not once. Mrs. Peck said that a young girl shouldn't be so concerned about money, and should be more concerned about building a relationship with Leon. Vivienne had other plans in mind though. "I'll drop some eggs off after I go to the store to sell most of these." she commented, placing the carton into Leon's hands while she climbed over the fence to the other side. Reaching to the other side she took the carton back from Leon with a nod. "Thanks- and yes, that's the new guy. His name is David. You should introduce yourself, he's a nice enough guy." Vivienne stated, looking from Leon to La Rosa to the Joel (who she didn't really realize was there until now. who her mother would have killed her for not saying hello and giving some blessings to.), and then to David with a cheeky grin.

"Ya'll don't have to go home, but I'd like it if you took the wedding reception else where." Vi stated loud enough to be heard, but not yelling. She started to head out to the road towards the general store without a real formal goodbye to the four. She just gave a slight wave and hoped they would have got the message.

"Farmboy, if you wish to woo that one you must know cock as well. Perhaps we could study all types of cocks, the small ones or the big ones that are different colors.

David simply stared, unable to say anything. It felt literally impossible for the young man to open his mouth. What he was hearing was making him uncertain about some of his recent life decisions. Her approach was so sudden; the whole situation was overwhelming in a way David considered negative. He had no idea who she even was. She had no idea who HE was. It was creeping him out. He made his best attempts to avoid eye-contact, not wanting this situation to get worse. Of course, that wasn't for him to decide...

"Now if you wish for Rosa you must-"

“I hurried over upon hearing wedding bells; shall I proclaim your union now, or would you prefer to make an event of it?”

David simply glanced towards the male voice; noting the man and not taking his comment well. It only made it worse for him, though. His sudden attempt at conversation allowed for David to attempt to speak. "I-" his mouth opened, only for the woman next to him to press her cheek against his, causing his eyes to narrow out of mild irritation, as at this point he was a bit more than flustered. Gently, he sat down the basket, causing the small chick inside to chirp as it continued watching the sight above.

"I see, so now you are officially Rosa's With Padre's blessing we can consummate yes? But wait you had promised yourself to your little chickdy, I guess I can share, plenty of room for another hen."

David, now not worried about the basket, pulled himself away from the woman without a second thought. Though still kept himself polite. "Ma'am, Ah don't think that'd, uh... Work out." He said, picking up his basket. "Your offer is really, uh, flatterin'. But Ah think Ah'll just... Go now." He felt he needed to go home; this was a bit much for him to handle. He honestly couldn't take much more of this right now...

"Ya'll don't have to go home, but I'd like it if you took the wedding reception else where."

"Home, right. Ah need to put all of this away. If you'll both pardon my quick leave, Ah've got to go." David took Vivienne's words as a chance to return home for the time being. Quickly, he began walking back the way he came from. Not wanting to leave himself open to getting grabbed up again. "Ya'll have a nice day." He added, starring strait ahead as he raised the basket up, holding it with both hands on the bottom so he could get a better look at his new little friend.

'Thank goodness...' David thought, sighing. He thought he'd end up married right then and there against his will to that older woman. He didn't want to think about the things she'd possibly do... The little chick chirped at him, still watching the one who had recently fed him with dedication. David smiled. "Ah'll arrange somethin' nice for you back home, make sure you're nice and comfortable." David said, getting more chirps as a response. It amused him. "Like the idea, huh? Me too." He watched as the chick ran around the inside of the basket, still seeming to be wanting to explore. It was something that entertained him during his trip towards home.

Nuka gave an eye roll at the fact he pointed out she wasn't hung-over, "I'm not actually always drunk," she grumbled, rubbing the glass a bit harder than it needed. Plus, her inventory skills were.... renowned for being.... nonexistent. She sighed in defeat before he asked the question about meeting the new farmer, "Do I ever leave during the day?" she raised a brow at the question, "If he plans on introducin' himself, fine I can say hi, that's not a big deal," she shrugged before putting away the glass that was cleaned by this point, "But if you're leaving might as well cut out the lights. My mess is cleaned up, so whenever I do have service they won't think a tornado whipped through the joint. So long as G is done hammerin' for the day, I'll actually get some shuddeye," she shook her head, thumbing quite sharply towards the blacksmiths. It was far too close to the bar for her own tastes. Hence half her complaints on the mornings she was hung over. The sound of metal on metal was enough to make her wants to shove a couple screwdrivers in her skull.
"You have fun with those social obligations of yours, I'm going to continue being a recluse. You want to know me, be over twenty and come to the bar," She said since in her mind that was simple enough, maybe too much even. She glanced at her alcohol stash, tapping her nail on the counter as she thought of whether or not inventory was worth keeping her awake from an encouraged nap. No. Not at all. She looked back to the doctor, wondering what he would actually end up doing, "I have a futon," she said, pointing to the couch towards the black, extending the offer to him to get in a nap as well, "Free o' charge to use for a few hours," she smirked at him

"So... Tired... So hungry... So-Achoo! Much pollen..." Lyra was absolutely miserable. She had intended to reach the town four days earlier. She would have likely been able to travel unaffected by the pollen that spring provides. But she got lost in the woods. Little did she know she was going around in circles and the town was literally a mile away. She was forced to spend four more nights out in the woods. She also ran out of her food rations the second day she was out. All she managed to find were a few berries. (After she picked the only bush clean, she kept walking in circles to see the same bush, but empty.) But at long last. Civilization in the form of a rundown farm.

She walked into town. No matter how blurry her vision was from her allergies, and lack of sleep, she could always spot the inn. Slowly, she crept through town, bag slung on one shoulder, lute slung over the other. Her heap was pounding, what with hunger, fatigue, and allergies. It was almost surprising she was walking. She kept up. "One step... One step... One... no wait, that's not right... How many have I taken?... Uuuuuugh." Now standing in front of the door of the inn, she had only one more job. "Raise your hand onto..." As soon as she lifted it, it flopped down again. "Stupid lute and bags, cutting my circulation in my arms!... Ow, ow, too loud..."

Finally her arm stayed in place, and she somehow mustered the strength to turn the knob and open the door. After the door swung open, it became apparent where the strength came from as she fell face first into the floor of the inn with a painful sounding smack. She didn't say anything for a while, but soon reached into her bag and pulled out a small sack, without moving anything else. "Excuse me? I will gladly give you everything in this bag for some food and plenty of pain killers..." Too bad the bag only had a little money.

Alex's brow quirked as the bartender pointed at the couch with a smirk, one finger tapping the bar as he contemplated his situation. The bar was quiet, it was warm, it was dark...no one would be in for awhile. Unless the farmer was an absolute moron, he wouldn't injure himself on the first day, there wouldn't be any chore that could potentially cause an injury that would need Alex's immediate attention. Most of the town knew he was either asleep or delivering the hang over remedy at this time anyway, so if he really was needed, most would look at the bar after no response was found at the clinic. His only appointment was much later in the day, and the deliveries weren't expected until the afternoon anyway. The downside...there really wasn't one. Alex rubbed his chin, green eyes flicking to Nuka for a moment.

"....I'll get the lights."

The doctor hopped up, walked over to the far wall, and hit the switch to turn the lights off. Heading back, he practically vaulted the bar itself, gave a nod to Nuka, then collapsed onto the couch. It was far too comfortable to even be fair. Alex immediately felt his eyes start to droop as he curled up, thin frame easily fitting into the cushions as he gave a large yawn, already starting to pass out.

"Good night Nuka..."

Social obligations be damned, he already let Joel make him breakfast, that was enough for one morning.

Leon grinned, "Riiiight...Then, I'll expect those eggs later on. Or I'll be very sad" Leon waved to her as she started to leave. As he turned around, he noticed the other people were leaving as well. He frowned, noting that he still hadn't introduced himself to the new farmer. "Later, I will...definitely meet him, or maybe along the way...soon at least" He muttered to himself as he started to walk back to the Inn. He wanted to check on something, or sleep. Depending on what he felt like.

But as he walked into his Inn, the person who was in front of him suddenly fell down and smashed her face against the ground. She stayed silent for a second, and so did Leon. He wasn't sure what to at all. "Ummm, Are you okay?" He asked as he walked so he would be in front of her. He knelt down closer to the level of where she was. Which was the floor. Suddenly she held out a small bag, "Excuse me? I will gladly give you everything in this bag for some food and plenty of pain killers..."

Leon smiled as he poked the bag gently. It didn't seem to have much in it, but Leon felt sad for. Since she seemed to be very hungry, "eeeh....Sure, Of course...Can you?stand up, if you can do that then follow me...Nameless person. "

"Thank you sir... I'll see if I can..." Lyra was still for a few seconds more. "It may not look like it, but I am actually trying pretty hard." When she finally was able to move herself, she took down her lute, and used it as a cane, to stand herself upright. On her forehead was a nasty read mark from her fall just now. "Ah... I guess I moved a pit too fat just now..." She hobbled over to a place to sit, and set herself down. "I'm sorry. I've been walking for a while, so I guess once I stopped, my legs just kinda gave up. If you have some food, or something to rid me of this massive headache, I'd be very grateful."

She looked over at the Inn Keeper. He seemed to be pretty young. He must not be used to customers like her walking in, though she remembers there being one every so often. However, no matter how miserable they were at the moment, they were always the ones who seemed to enjoy traveling the most and had some of the best stories. She was rather pleased with herself. Perhaps she would have a story like that herself now. She lied her head down on the table. "You have any extra rooms? I doubt I have enough money if not barely for the food, and if that's the case, I definitely don't have enough for a room. But this wouldn't be the first time. I'd gladly stay here for a while to pay it off if you need something done... Just not within the next thirty-six hours please... I don't think I'd be able to handle it."

The poor youth was clearly taking La Rosa and Joel’s words in earnest, which alarmed him. Vi exclaimed a request for everyone to scatter from her ranch, indicating that she was overwhelmed too. Joel decided it would be best to allow the two some peace. Noticing Vi’s wave goodbye, Joel bowed his head to her with a simple smile as acknowledgement. Now noticing Leon was among them, the priest dipped his head again in recognition of the additional company before turning his attention back to the young man locked in La Rosa’s arms. Finally seizing his opportunity to speak, the youth clumsily excused himself from the situation, focusing his efforts upon La Rosa, and mostly ignoring Joel.

This was Joel’s opening.

Exercising his sleight of hand, Joel placed a few wrapped articles of food and spices into the young man’s poop covered basket in the hope of giving the young man some untarnished meals. The sound of a small chick nipping at Joel intrusive hand nearly gave him away, but fortunately the effort was executed without notice. To hide his sneaky hands, Joel bowed and gestured toward the farm, granting the youth passage away from the two. “Have a peaceful and productive day friend,” Joel softly mentioned to the young man as farewell.

As the young man wandered toward the farm, Joel looked to La Rosa, and put a finger over his lips gesturing for her silence, for she likely saw Joel’s deposit. The lumberjack was a perceptive one, and Joel was far too familiar to her artful eyes. In a hushed tone, Joel surmised, “I just behaved like a buffoon to our newest resident again haven’t I?” The question was one for Joel to answer himself, and not anyone else, but that may not stop La Rosa from lashing out a witticism. In hope of interrupting her before she does, Joel decided to offer her something else to think of. “You have the aroma of a hard day’s work Rosa, have you created a new marvel that I may admire?”

Zeke rushed into the shop, and poor Pearl could only utter a yelp of surprise before he was planted on the ground by the large dog. Knowing G must be nearby, Pearl desperately tried to yell for assistance, but his attempted cries were replaced by laughter as Zeke’s tongue tickled the shopkeeper's face. Only the sound of shattering glass gave Pearl the strength to escape the dog’s strong hold over him. Forgetting his manners for a moment, the shopkeeper scrambled to find what had broken. Fortunately, it appeared to only be a low value item. With G’s order already nearby him, Pearl began to examine the contents of the bag, and as expected, G’s work was of pristine quality. “Oh, don’t worry about this little glass Gordeu. Your masterwork here is more than enough to replace it.” Rising to his feet to meet the blacksmith, Pearl wore a gentle smile, which persisted even after noticing the black ash strewn about his shop.

“Thank you for the fine work as always Gordeu, have a look around if it pleases you.”

Pearl began to assort the blacksmith’s goods in their respective places in the shop, and discarded the broken glass item. He was not going to comment on the soot and ash that now littered the shop, the fact that G acknowledged and attempted to prevent it was sufficient for him, also he did not want to insult the blacksmith in fear of possible repercussions. As Pearl worked, he noticed Zeke still sitting idly near him.

“Would Zeke like a treat? I have some snacks he may enjoy.”

Leon stood up as the women hobbled for somewhere to sit down. Leon made a signal too one of the people in the kitchen, and in the next few moments a small plate with a piece of cake was suddenly was placed on the table "It's very much...a meal. In it's own way" Leon grinned as she mentioned how much she had been walking. "You must be so tired indeed. Seeing as most people don't collapsed as soon as they enter the building" Leon chuckled slightly as he listened to her some more. He tilted his head before give a small smirk. Time to prove to people that I can do things when I want to

"Well, If it's not much for you...Seeing as you seem the person not to enjoy labor at the moment, or next year. I do have..ahh, well. Job, that I need to fill. And you seem like the perfect person to do it" Leon gestured towards the persons lute. That what they called it right?

"You see, I need to convince certain people that I'm doing job. And one of those things is to add valuable additions. And if you look around, we have no....music players. So...If when your ready just entertain people and basically just talk with them. That would be really cool. Plus, you'll get payed. Which means a room, food and medication. Win win right?" Leon moved slightly sideways as if he had forgotten something. "Oh right, If you want to stay in town of course. They have really cool things here, you can visit people while entertaining people. And perhaps tackling them to tell them to go to this inn. I'm quite lazy you see, everyone knows that. So, you would be doing a valuable job." Leon stood up. "I actually really need this so yeah"

Leon took a step backwards before jumping up slightly, "Oh right, My name's Leon...yours is?"

Nuka gave a hearty laugh when Alex said he would get the lights, her powers of persuasion clearly winning over his lacking sense of duty. She didn't mind him going over the counter rather than around it since he didn't put his feet on it and she smirked as he laid down and told her goodnight.
"Night works for me," She put the rag down, walking around to the other side of the counter to where she had some lounge chairs set up for the customers and flopped in one sideways, her legs over the arm, leaning against it so her head was on the back cushion.
She rather enjoyed the fact that there were other non morning people in this little excuse for a town. It made mid morning naps much more easy to talk herself in to and enjoy. Now if anyone were to come in and interrupt her sleep, it wouldn't be just her willing to commit murder, she was sure. And if that priest dared to set foot in her doors, she'd set his head through the hole in her wall which La Rosa's chainsaw had created. And if that loud mouth came in, she'd return the favor by putting said chainsaw through her bright red head. Anyone else would probably receive her usual growls and grunt about not being open till the sun decided to go away and to get lost.

Sam emerged from the library, deciding that perhaps some fresh air would alleviate the feeling of boredom that was setting in on him. It seemed no one these days could appreciate the joys of the library as much as he did. He didn't necessarily know where to go, however, and he started to idly walk about. From his corner perch of land he could see the lights were off per the norm at the bar, he had heard G and Zeke go by earlier, probably to the General Store and to be quite honest the both of them were more than enough intimidation to have to swallow for a day or two and he didn't really feel like dealing with that. He started towards the new guy's farm, deciding to be a semi-socialite having no idea what the poor tyke had been through. Had he known, he'd given the poor guy a break. Though he was a little concerned as he passed Vi's place and could see Joel and La Rosa within arm's reach of each other. La Rosa alone was enough to spell someone had a loud wake up call to the morning. He reached the farm and looked around, "I wonder how accurate the books are," he suddenly mused, his train of thought completely derailing in a matter of seconds. He stood there, almost completely stock still as he just stared at the fields in all their "splendor," wholly absorbed in his thoughts. Should the farmer locate the wayward librarian and interrupt said train of thought, he would find that the man would not regain recollection of why he had journeyed there, but would introduce himself nonetheless.

At the sight of the cake, Lyra lost all restraint. It tasted so good. Of course food always tasted good after arriving to a new town. That was one of her favorite things about traveling. The cake did not last long, as she pounded it back relentlessly. After it was gone she leaned back with a content sigh, some crumbs were still on her dirt covered cheeks. However, now came the most terrifying thing in the world. What is she going to do to help this guy out?

Gah! He is going to make me work! I know I said I would, but... It always fills me with dread. Perhaps he will send me to do his errands, or worse... he will make me do the cooking! I can't do that! The most I can do is grill some meat! If I try anything else, it becomes outright horrid!... My shoulder still hurts from my failed attempts several towns ago...

But That wasn't what he said.

"What?... You want me to play my lute?... That's it?... You're going to give me room and board, and all I have to do is play a few songs..." Lyra picked off some crumbs that were left on her plate. She was silent for a few seconds, then stood up with such force her chair was thrown across the floor. "That's great! I accept! I was terrified you'd send me off to lift crates or something, but this is the best thing someone could ask for!... I must also ask for a place to lie down and allergy medication, as I may have over exerted myself just now, and my headache has been ramped up once again..."

"Unf... Hunger pains." Ramone complained, having made his way back to town. He needed food, and figured he had a few options to obtain it. Joel usually had food with him, and didn't usually mind giving some of it away. It might've been a possibility to mooch something off of Leon as an alternative to that, though Ramone figured he could probably just go home and raid what his Uncle had stored. It was probably the easiest way of going about it. Giving home was close, and the church was all the way across town.

He was able to see Gordeu's house, and was surprised to not hear anything. Tt was usually loud, even at the distance he was currently at. "Must have went somewhere." Ramone said to himself, noticing somebody unfamiliar walking past the building he called home. He was going to ignore the person in question, even though they were going to cross paths soon, but noticed the basket the guy had in his hands. His eyes brightened up, imagining what he might've had in it. Maybe something delicious. Or at least something extra for him to eat before getting home.

"Hey!" Ramone called out, watching as the approaching boy lowered the basket, seeming to stare.
'Aah... Someone else...' David was mildly worried, but smiled nonetheless. The two stopped before they crossed on the path, David holding the basket properly in one hand in order to get a better look at Ramone. While he was doing that, Ramone was eyeing his basket. Though David didn't really notice.

Ramone grabbed David's free hand and shook it, grinning. "You must be the new guy!" Ramone sounded much happier than one would expect, though he had good reasons for the moment. "Seems that, like, you've already been getting welcomed pretty nicely, huh?"

"Y'could say that." David replied, glancing away momentarily. Which was enough time for Ramone to let go of his hand and take a closer look into the basket. As David turned his head back, he raised an eyebrow. "What're you doin'?" He questioned, causing Ramone to stand strait as he answered; "Oh! Just looking at what you've got." He glanced around nervously for a second, before his stomach growled demanding for him to get to the point. "Uh, maybe you can help me out, neighbor. I have been working all day at the mines, and I'm totally hungry after a long day's work..." He gestured towards the hammer he was holding. "Maybe you could spare me something?" He sounded innocent enough to be believable, at least to someone who didn't know him.

David, thinking it over for a moment, nodded. "Ah suppose. There's a lot in here, anyhow-"

"Thanks!" Ramone cut him off after getting his approval, reaching into the taller boy's basket. The chick inside picked at the straps dangling from Ramone's arms as he pulled out the rather unfortunate loaf of bread. It smelled funny to Ramone, but he wasn't going to complain. "Ooohh... I could just take a big bite out of this right now!"

David, realizing what Ramone was holding, tried to stop him. "That ain't somethin' you wanna-!" He stopped, as it was too late. Ramone took a big bite out of the loaf, and began skeptically chewing it. "...Mhm... This tastes kind'a... Weird... Mmf..."

"That's because there's... Aah..." David paused for a moment, unsure if he should say it. He quickly decided it was for the best. "There's chicken poop on it."

Ramone spat out the bread in his mouth, most of it landing in front of David, nearly onto his shoes. "Pfffft! WHAT?!" Ramone coughed, looking at the loaf of bread in his hands. David was right, there WAS poop on it. "Oh... Goddess." Ramone began feeling sick to his stomach. "I... I'm gonna go now... Urp..."

David watched as Ramone walked off slowly, before slowly walking away himself, making sure to step over the mess on the ground. Birds would probably consider it some kind of treat. 'Didn't even get his name.' David thought to himself, though quickly upon hearing a rather horrible sound coming from behind him, David began walking faster towards home.
Once he reached the farm, David sighed. "Well... That was pretty weird, wasn't it buddy?" David looked down at the basket for a moment, the chick seeming a bit more quiet. "I don't blame ya, that jus' kinda left me speechless too." He was going to head inside to get everything sorted out, but, alas, the chain of events wasn't over yet. Somebody seemed to be looking at the fields. He had no idea who it was, but he figured he might as well say hello. As the man could've possibly been here looking for him.

Approaching the man, David made his presence clear. "Howdy!" He called out, offering a smile as he stopped a fair distance away. He seemed to be curiously observing the area, perhaps with some sort of actual interest. Maybe he wasn't here to see David after all. He recalled Mayor Alenko having been looking around when he first got here, maybe a few of the townsfolk just ending up coming around at times. Wasn't exactly a bad thing. "Is there somethin' I can help you with, or are ya just lookin' around?"

"Very well, Your hired!" Leon gave thumbs up. before quickly glancing across the room. "Your room is 14, it's basically the one on the first left through there" Leon pointed towards the hallway.

"And we'll try to get some medication, I'm sure we have something around" Leon turned his head towards her. "Plus, I can't demand people to do so much work when I probably wouldn't do it myself....and uh, Welcome aboard? But we're not pirates...I Promise" That made himself chuckle a small bit. "Tomorrow I would guess looking around town...if you have enough energy. Gotta....you know. Flaunt your lute or something" Leon face scrunched up. "Not for that to be taken in a wrong way..." He added quickly.

"Anyhow, if you want to ask something. I'm here, I might be asleep. Cause I do that a lot. Wake me up if you please, It would probably help me anyway"

Sam jumped when he was addressed, being pulled from his revere. He looked around for the source of the voice speaking and his eyes landed on David. For once, perhaps because this was indeed a special occasion, Sam remembered why he had ventured this way.
"Ah! Our fresh new face! I quite apologize for just intruding on your property and all that, I just wanted to have the chance to introduce myself," he rubbed the back of his head, giving a small laugh, "I'm Sam. I run the library. No one ever visits much anymore, but I've got books on just about everything, so if you ever need one, I've got coffee and snacks out too. I was just reading a book on farming a little while ago, so I got a little distracted when I started looking around," he tapped his fingers together, hoping his explanation excused his probably odd seeming behavior.
"I hope the other residents don't scare you before you have the chance to get comfortable, they all can get a bit.... Eccentric when excited," He gave an apologetic smile assuming he'd had to encounter La Rosa.

What a peculiar day.

Vivienne wasn't too fond of change, though she did enjoy the adventure here and then. Was that a contradiction? No, she didn't think so. Since there was a difference between taking a new way through town versus leaving town. Vi usually stuck to the first route of adventure, but not today. Her hip bone carried most of the weight from the carton of eggs as she reached the general store with out too much hassle. A journey she tracked to almost every morning when she wanted to get some gold from her egg sales.

Hearing the commotion from inside there could only be one explanation; G and Zeke were having a selling day. Often they crossed paths in town, but didn't have too much in common. Perhaps mutual respect was the best way to describe their relationship. Vivienne was amazed by the things G crafted, and the peck family did a lot of business in return; things such as horseshoes, tools, and other miscellaneous requests by the Mrs.

Using her free hand she opened up to the door and gave a grin and a cheerful "Morning, gentleman'" to the two. Zeke sat idle waiting for something from Pearl. "He must want be looking for something from Pearl." Vivienne thought to herself, knowing that the dog would have bounded to her with various kisses if that wasn't the case. Placing the carton of eggs up on the counter, Vivienne started speaking without too much detail to whatever the two had been doing when she got there. When not in the eyes of her mother, Vi could be quite the loud and spunky type.

"I've got 20 eggs here. I'm looking to sell or trade you at least 15 of em." she started. "I've got to drop some off with Leon as promised." her fingertip ran along the top of the counter only to reveal a streak in the pile of soot that laced the top. Vi pulled her hand back in surprise, wiping it off on her pants as to not be caught red handed of sorts. "What are you thinking Pearl?" Vi asked, giving him a cheerful smile. "I've been eyeing those new boots that came in, but I know the eggs aren't worth nearly as much. But I'll be willing to trade ya' something for em. You know you can trust my word!" she gleamed, waiting to hear answers.

David listened to the man, who introduced himself as Sam, explain why he was at the farm, apologizing about intruding. David simply smiled, dismissing it. "Don't worry about it." He said, not really bothered by people coming around. As long as they didn't harm anything, he had no real concerns. Sam seemed like a rather nice person, though perhaps a little lonely by what he was saying concerning the fact nobody visited the Library too often. David himself figured he might find something of interest there, and that'd it'd be worth a look sometime in the future. "Pleasure t' meet you, Sam. Name's David."

"I hope the other residents don't scare you before you have the chance to get comfortable, they all can get a bit.... Eccentric when excited,"

'Tell me about it...' David thought momentarily, before replying. "Ah've met a few of 'em. Pretty welcoming bunch, heh." Though, as he said that, David recalled the encounter he had moments ago, as the one he had before that... Welcoming was a word for it. He'd stick with it. "Well, you're welcome to look around whenever ya want, really. Ah don't mind." He looked at the place, it was still a mess like he left it this morning. "It'll probably look a bit better once Ah start cleanin' it up, though..." He admitted, figuring it'd be best to get on that after he put everything away from the basket. He couldn't have this place looking run-down anymore, he wanted the place to be in good condition, even if the work involved could possibly be time consuming.

"I wonder offer to help, but the heaviest things I carry are books so I'm afraid I'd get in your way more than anything. Don't tell G I said that. I already have a hard enough time convincing that man I'm straight and a comment like that would be my ruin..." Sam sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, shaking his head.
"Anyways, it's a pleasure to have a new face around town that isn't nearly as crazy as all of the others," he laughed a bit, rubbing the back of his head, "I would say don't be afraid to ask the girls to help you with heavy lifting but you've met Vi and Rosa, and let's just say Nuka would dunk you in the nastiest ale she has for mentioning hard work that would utterly kill a buzz," Sam shook his head, "If you haven't met G yet, just... be prepared for your eardrums to possibly rupture from the sheer volume he usually speaks at and Zeke will probably only like you if you give him treats," he said with a nod.
He patted David's shoulder, "With that I wish you luck and offer the cozy library at your convenience," he smirked before starting to walk away to get out of his way so he could go about doing whatever it was he felt he needed to do to get started.

As Vi entered the shop, Pearl pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket, and attempted to pat away the dog slobber on his face. “Good morning Vivienne, how may I be of service?” The young girl responded by presenting a carton of eggs upon the counter, which Pearl began investigating immediately. Each egg was plump and looked appetizing. Though Pearl’s eyes are fixated on the eggs, his ears focused on Vi. He occasionally offers a hum of acknowledgement as she spoke to reassure her that he was paying attention.

Content with his survey of the eggs, Pearl turned his glance to Vi with a smile. “I’ll happily purchase fifteen of these fine eggs.” Opening up his register, Pearl collects and counts some money, and then hands it to Vi. With the register still open, Pearl then counts out more money and hands it G’s way to ensure the blacksmith is properly compensated for his work too. Focusing back to Vi, Pearl noticed a sparkle in her eyes as she asks about the new boots that arrived a short time ago.

Vi’s enthusiasm rubbed off on Pearl as he let out a chuckle. “Give a moment,” the shopkeeper stepped away from the counter for a moment, and retrieved a fine pair of boots. Returning to the counter, Pearl remembered the soot on his station, so he abruptly turned and placed the boots on a shelf near a tag that reads ‘Peck’. “Here they are Vivienne, these will stay here until you’re ready to trade for them. Feel free to come by later with anything you’re willing to exchange and I’m certain we will come to an arrangement.” He gave Vi a friendly wave, “pleasure doing business with you… oh, and when you see Leon, please tell him that his order arrived.”

As the small farmer escaped La Rosa her lip protruded as if to chase. Thankfully Padre was there, a man of exquisite taste! She thought him a genuine soul, as his acts made obvious.
“You have the aroma of a hard day’s work Rosa, have you created a new marvel that I may admire?”

Instantly she rushed over to the priest hardly able to contain her excitement! Her hand grabbed his wrist and pulled him along. Her hands despite being that of a woman had an iron grip that would make a vice jealous, but when one works with a chainsaw daily its to be expected.

"OH YES PADRE I SHOW YOU! It is beautiful, original and of course erotic. WAIT no wrong word."

The fathers arm is likely sore, but she got him to the site. The design of the works where based more on the oriental influences, with a hint of renaissance.

"Exotic!"
She waited for his reaction as if on pens and needles!
G had been watching the activities around him with a rather blank expression, what was on his mind the entire time? He was picturing what ornate finishing he could add to a chicken coup. Several times he has offered to spruce up their fences but each time he is told that his work's shouldn't be covered in filth. Pearl could really use some brass in his facility, It would make it really pop. What if they where made of brass? "Woof"
G winces as he remembers what he was doing.
"Oh right. Zeke lets go."

Zeke whimpered but did as instructed. The pair walked out, Zeke barked once in farewell.

Taking the coins she was given, she slid them into her pocket. It was definitely enough for lunch that day. As Vi saw the boots being taken from the shelf, she looked eager ready to accept them in her arms, but alas- Pearl had different plans with them. Her shoulders slouched as he placed them high on the Peck shelf. "Oh." she mustered out, taking out 5 of the eggs so that Pearl could keep the carton. "Well, I'll do just that then!" she regained a little pep as she nodded, wondering what would be a good trade for the boots. Balancing the 5 eggs between her two hands she scooted out of the store along with G and Zeke, as she headed back down the road towards the inn.

In no time she was there. Using the toe of her boot she kicked the door a few times as a knocking sort of sound. "Leon!" Vi called, putting her ear to the door to see if she could hear the lazy bum sleeping the day away. "Leon!" she called again giving one big final kick, hoping that he would answer the door before she would be tossing the eggs onto the ground.
