she's kind of planning to pull an all-nighter outside the gate.

Absolutely, there are many choices.

She could come back early enough to see the group before they take off.
She could just approach the group and ask whats going on.
She could save somebody's life

Really, just tell me how you'd like to go about it and we'll work something up. Perhaps the note is delivered to her by the wind?

Just to recap. Those who choose to exclude themselves from an event such as this, will be given a different opportunity for something else, don't fear you'll be left behind story wise. There is much story to go around. On the opposite hand, taking the opportunity may mean you'll miss something else. I am a cruel GM. :)

Fucking beautiful post fire. I felt like I was in a stephen king book for a moment. I will update the information database with the Polymelia-Class plant spore, I will elaborate more onto as I like the idea. Pretty much a venus flytrap surrounded by a miles of thick vines right? If you want to add something else to it let me know, I'm going to eat dinner and watch a round of Defiance before doing rpg work.

Take a note from fire, I love this kind of creativity, making shit up. The Darkling dying from biting an infected wasn't something I thought about, but will keep when I update the creature compendium, to be added with the flora.

Just lettin you know I still live, and that I'll probably have a full edited history up tomorrow

GM TIP:: One of the bulletins in the post has a Millennium Subject within it's story line, sometimes it is the obvious, sometimes it is not.
